I'm bummed that there was no paint that was just the missing textures wrapped onto a weapon, especially since Valve is endorsing it now with the missing texture emoji you can buy in the point shop
It would be funny for the sandvich warpaint to be on stock shotgun, and when an enemy asks for a sandwich you just bring it out as the heavy and shoot them to death (and rename it to "Definitely a Sandvich")
I personally think most skins look too much like stickers, and thus clash with the artstyle too much (dead meme I know). I only like the ones that seem like realistic coloring, like Igloo or Mahogony. Also, War Paints look the best of swords, just saying.

They all look neat, and with a bit of polishing I could definitely see these being war paints (maybe aside from the windows one lol) I’d also like to see a warpaint with maybe some kind of binary text, or the classic checkered magenta/black Gmod error colors lol
If someone hasn't tried it already, maybe a paint that makes your weapon look like a Nerf gun could be pretty fun, if done correctly. Now if your favorite weapon gets nerfed, the paint will match.

You should do a followup video to this, there's been hundreds of more War Paints uploaded since this. Especially since last year because of that summer update.
I kinda like the windows error one, but really only on the pyro, because with min mode you can only see the nozzle, and not the tanks, so you gain a tactical advantage over your enemies, whose eyes MUST burn.
The Metro Maze war paint, very closely resembles a New York City subway map as well as a Tube map (I'm not sure how the subway maps look over in the UK).
I think my favorite would have to be either dovetailed or hana. I really like the pink stuff. It's a shame that they're out of print now and the market is selling them for higher and higher prices as the days go by

I actually like the Plastic Mann warpaint, why you may ask? Because it reminds me of simpler times where i could just sit in my room playing with my army men, sending captain machine on a suicide mission into the tan army base.
I actually really liked the sandvich war paint. It's creative in a way and I appreciate the fact that it wasn't just a pattern but the entire weapon was a sandvich. It strays from TF2's normal war paints and stands out in a good way in my opinion. It would be nice to see a change in TF2's war paint design and I think this war paint would be a good way to start. It also shares resemblance to the Tumor Toasted war paint in the way that there isn't a clear pattern and it's more of a design. With Tumor Toasted being in the game I see no reason to keep Dangerously Delicious out of the game. I really want to see less patterns and more designs with the war paints.
Unpopular opinion:The stock shotgun and panic attack are the best choices for war paints just because they are the multiclass weapons that can be used on the most classes meaning that you will naturally use the war painted weapons the most. (even tho most people think that banners and launch box items are way better then the shotguns)
Banners and Lunch Box items are usually the best option for gameplay overall. I wish the shotguns were more viable because I agree, skins do look best on them.
I like the Kodai one, but I also think, players would be less focusing on the game, and more on reading the comics, even if the text won't be clear. I would do it. I also want to add: If the Kodai could have like a different comic pattern, like: Every war paint comic would have a different story, but I guess it won't happen...

Valve actually almost put that one in the game themselves, but it was left unused because it made it too hard for players to identify the weapons.

Maybe if the error screen was more akin to 1970s computer monitor (orange and green), and the color was beige, the design would work more.
The Dangerously Delicious warpaint would fit in perfectly with the current vibe of warpaints.
For the spycrab paint, I think a smart idea would to make the weapons look like their default look, but the spycrabs would pop against it.
