Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY
Lebron james has been to 10 nba finals. Only Bill Russell and Sam Jones (in a mostly nine team league) have made more nba finals appearances
LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals
In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate
      Rick Barry (1975)
      Bill Walton (1977)
      Hakeem Olajuwon (1994)
      Tim Duncan (2005) (2007)
      Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010)
      Steph Curry (2015) (2022)
      LeBron james (2016)
      Kawhi Leonard (2019)
      Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021)
As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt
Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO
In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were
      83-84 bulls 27-55
      84-85 bulls. 38-44
      92-93 bulls 57-25
      93-94 bulls 55-27
98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen
      00-01 wizards 19-63
      01-02 wizards. 37-45
      02-03 wizards 37-45
      03-04 wizards 25-57
      02-03 cavaliers 17-65
      03-04 cavaliers 35-47
      09-10 cavaliers 61-21
      10-11 cavaliers 19-63
      09-10 heat. 47-35
      10-11 heat 58-24
      14-15 heat 37-45
      2013-14 cavaliers 33-49
      2014-15 cavaliers 53-29
      2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32
      2018-19 cavaliers 19-63
      2017-18 lakers. 35-47
2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day.
As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank.
Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter
Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck.
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!!
      I have added a Postscript
So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school

Jordan was 9 times all defensive first at the same time as scoring champ. That really shows how much of a beast he was on both ends.
Also steals champ at the same time as scoring champ.
Something that never gets mentioned. Jordan is top 5 in both totals and per game averages in both scoring and steals. Some players maybe both for one stat but not 2.
Jordan took it to another level in the finals especially the first 3.
91-- average 11.4 assists per game highest for anyone not Magic.
92 - - average an impressive 42% for 3s and in game 1 shot six 3s in a half which was a record for 18 years until Ray Allen the only person to shoot more in a half
93-- average 41 points per game highest ever.

If there had been a Defensive Player of the Year Award in Wilt's time, I wonder how many times he would have won it? Jordan won some finals 'cause offensive fouls were not called on him. Steals mean $hit. Go for a steal and miss, that means an easy basket for the other guy. Change a rule to stop Wilt? That was done a couple of times. Change a rule to stop Jordan? Har, har, har. You must be $hitting me. He did what he wanted, rules did NOT apply.

I think it's hard to find the best Michael Jordan move there is because most of his moves are hard to do. The shot over Craig elo is insane when you see all the movement Jordan made to get the ball, then to shoot while being under pressure and jumping through the air at such a distance. The Nets on is Spectacular,it's one of my favorites. The one against Lambeer is madness. To think about that, execute it and the ball went in. Jordan is More Than Basketball. Reality is: It's impossible to know, Wilt played in an era where there where so few teams and players, yes, he had all of the accolades but when if there's 10 teams in the league and less than 200 players it's just way to little of a sample size to compare to... now as I said we will never know because that was his time, MJ's time was different. To me there is no GOAT because it is just 2 hard to compare one era to an other, but MJ was the best player of his era no question about it, and wilt was the best winner but Bill Russel was objectively the better player, same with Magic and Bird, Magic won more but bird was better, same in Kobe's era, Kobe was easy the best player of the 2000s, same as Curry in the 2010s and same as Jokic in the 2020s so far, BB is not rocket science, you can clearly see who is the better player even if they don't win as much because their team is shit. (where the avg height is only a couple of inches diff) wilt excelled. he avg 42 pts and 25 rebs for then entire first 6 years in the nba. then to win championships. volunteered to change his entire approach to the game and went from primarily a scorer to a facilitator. and then won an assist title as a center. did not win many championships. but he was the center battling the celtics through all those championships. and those were close games. to this day. half a century after he has retired. he still holds more nba records than any other player in the game. and it is not even close.
there is a reason they use the term "modern era" when assessing the greats. and that is because if they include pre 1970. there is no way they can market anyone else as the greatest. because then they have to include wilt in the conversation.

I watched his first game at the MSG too, the game he did the "rock the baby" dunk. I think that was 4 or 5 games after his debut against the Bullets, and he was clearly the OWNER of the team by then. Forget about the number of rings and other accomplishments. Let's talk about basic skill, or rather, the lack thereof in LeBron's case. It's clear as day that MJ was lightyears ahead of LeBron in terms of sheer basketball prowess.
LeBron can only score most of his points by driving to the rim. It's like watching a one-trick pony in action. Sure, he's got the build of a freight train, but when it comes to actual skill, he falls way short.
Let's start with the basics: shooting. While Jordan was draining silky smooth jumpers from all over the court, LeBron struggles to hit a mid-range shot without looking like a deer caught in headlights. He heavily relies on driving to the rim for scoring. His shooting abilities are inconsistent. His mid-range game lacks finesse, and his post moves are underdeveloped. Additionally, his free throw shooting has been a weakness throughout his career.
And let's not forget about footwork and finesse. Jordan had the grace of a ballet dancer combined with the precision of a surgeon. His footwork was a work of art, allowing him to create separation from defenders and hit those jaw-dropping shots. But LeBron? Well, he's more like a bull in a china shop, finesse is a foreign concept to him.
Furthermore, let's talk about killer instinct. When the game is on the line, and everything is at stake, LeFrozen seems to fade into the background. Jordan had an insatiable hunger for victory. He wanted the ball in his hands, and he wanted to take the last shot. He relished the pressure and thrived in those high-pressure moments. LeBron, well, he seems content with passing the ball or deferring to others when the going gets tough. He melts under the spotlight while Jordan thrived, hitting iconic contested shots and carrying his teams to victory.
But hey, at least LeBron can dish out some flashy passes, right? Well, let's not get carried away, his passing is more about brute force than finesse. It's like watching a quarterback throw a Hail Mary pass every time he makes a play. Sometimes it works, but more often than not, it's just a reckless display of power. He can't hold a candle to Magic Johnson. Magic's artistic flair, court vision, and ability to control the game through his passing set him apart as the greatest playmaker in the game.
Not to mention defense, while LeBron is often praised for his physicality on the court, his defensive prowess completely falls short when compared to the likes of MJ. When it comes to lockdown defense.
Let's start with Jordan, who was a defensive juggernaut. His tenaciousness on the defensive end was legendary, earning him numerous NBA All-Defensive Team selections. Jordan's ability to shut down opponents was unparalleled. He possessed lightning-quick hands, exceptional footwork, and an uncanny ability to anticipate his opponents' moves. Whether it was stealing the ball, blocking shots, or simply suffocating his matchups, Jordan was a terror on defense.
Now, let's turn our attention to LeBron. His defensive lapses, lack of consistent effort, and questionable decision-making on that end of the court have been evident. Unlike MJ, who embraced the challenge of guarding the opposing team's best player, LeBron has often shied away from such assignments. His defensive contributions have mostly revolved around chasing down opponents for highlight reel blocks, rather than consistently locking down his man or being a disruptive force.
It's important to note that defense is not solely about individual accolades or highlight plays. It's about consistently making a significant impact on that end of the court, shutting down opponents, and being a leader on defense. Once again, LeBron falls short compared to the defensive legacy left by Jordan.
*Conclusion:* When it comes to skill alone, LeBron is like the kid who brings a water gun to a paintball match. He may have some "impressive" numbers and highlight reels, but when you break it down, it's clear that Jordan was on a completely different level. LeBron's reliance on brute force and lack of true skill make him the odd one out in this conversation about who's the GOAT or all-time great.
