Coal trains and ash trains at Retford.

Freight traffic to and from the power stations passing Retford low level platforms.
Fist of all we see the 6B35 0845 Immingham H.I.T. (Gbrf) to West Burton Ps (Gbrf) coal train hauled by 66709 'Sorrento' in Medite livery gingerly coming down the incline from Whisker Hill Junction to pass under the East Coast Main line. The train then powers up the incline to Thrumpton level crossing.
The second train, hauled by EWS-liveried 66098 is the 694A 1300 West Burton Power Station to Acton T.C. fly ash train.
Finally, Freightliner 66539 takes the 608B 0945 Immingham Import Term Fhh to Cottam Power Station (Fhh) coal train eastwards.
