Trains at Retford 21/11/23. Featuring the Midland Pullman going for gold on a Christmas Adventure...

Fantastic trip down to Retford race track today. I've not been for a while , and as the Midland Pullman was on its jaunt to Edinburgh, I though why not. I love going there just to see everything flat out. Brilliant stuff. And getting the RHTT and a container was a bonus. Great Station, great staff.

Hi Colin hope you are well. I've done a couple from there in the past at Retford. There's a particular good one of the 40 Rail Tour that went through in 2021, I think it was then or maybe 2022. If you can find it that's a good one for the low level mate.

Aah memories Pete used to sit on the wall at the end of platform 1 all day long coming by train from Worksop, that was when the flat crossing was there and coal was king. An old man is happy tonight.
