Nice video, liked the presentation. It was a bit alarming seeing the multiple visible differences in the Better Sax reeds.

@DirkJ. Thank you! What brand of reeds do you like?

@@MarkPeotter I've been quite sold on Legere's for some years now, I really enjoy the newest "French Cut" version, for me it sounds the closest to a regular reed. I also really like the Plasticoated reeds from D'darrio.
I do not have much experience outside Vandoren and Rico reeds when it comes to regular cane, but I have never seen the kinds of quality differences in all I have listed as you did with those two brands.

Mark, are Van Doren any good? Or are they just expensive, consumer sax candy for the uninitiated? Do you avoid Van Doren altogether? Are they overrated? Thanks for the video!

@algallego In my opinion, Van Doren has been leading the industry for many years. The quality and consistency are high, the packaging is excellent, and their prices are reasonable. Van Doren offers many types of "cuts" in their reeds. If there is a downside, these many choices can be confusing to the consumer, but, for me, I enjoy the options.
