Auswählen looks SO grand and scary compared to the manga version. I had chills, watching it falling down on quincies that literally had no idea what was happening. It was a horrifying scene.
I was still expecting the part with the pistols guy warning toto that they were not selected just before being absorbed.

i hate when people call things that have been established and used in the series before, "asspulls". the same thing happened when the quincies used vollstandig in this cour. quilgue ope already showed and explained it to us in cour 1. auswahlen was also explained to us in cour 1 and is the reason ichigo and uryus mother died.
Don't pay too much attention to them. It just means they're barely paying attention to the stuff they're watching. This happens all the time in Bleach. We literally have a well-popular discussion video about Bleach and its many "asspulls" on TH-cam.

It was one of the most beautiful visuals ever seen, totally transcends the manga and the music is supreme
Cour 2 was absolutely amazing. It’s crazy that we have about 70-80 chapters left in the arc if I’m not mistaken and 26 episodes left. Based on how this entire arc has been adapted so far, we’re gonna a ton of new contents in cour 3 and 4🔥
For reference they can slow down the pace by about half and comfortably reach the end.

Robert Accutrone (Sternritter N) had a scene in the manga where he was burned away by the Auswahlen, but it didnt happen in the anime. I wonder if he's going to be stuck around during part 3 and show his powers

I feel that Yhwach has been one of the biggest MVP's in TYBW Arc, albeit unwittingly.
I mean, he created a culture of distrust, infighting and egotism within the Wandenreich, while also killing his subordinates via the absurd "If you lose, you die"-policy. And here, he is using the Sternritters as expendable fuel reserves to revive himself and his Royal Guards via Auswählen. Yhwach really is his own worst enemy, and this betrayal will come as a similar shock to his army as Aizen's betrayal did to Harribel.

If you read Can't Fear Your Own World, it turns our Yhwach was actually saving Ichigo from the what he was about to become aka The Linchpin of the Soul King. Which was to be amputated in order for him to be the Soul King, because he was a quincy, soul-reaper, fullbringer and hollow and this was all Ichibe's doing.

In the manga, Yhwach conducted Aushwahlen to revive the Schutzstaffel after they were seemingly killed by Nimaiya
Here in the anime, he used Auschwalen to powered up himself , Uryu, Hashwald and the Shutzstaffel
This underscores the power of Squad 0 and how they are no pushovers like in the manga
Which is definitely a lot better because in the manga they seemed like total push overs, getting killed nearly right away.
Great voice acting from Yuki Ono and Aoi Yuuki (The voices of Bazz-B and Liltotto) in this scene. The sense of shock, betrayal and anger in their voices was palpable👏👏👏

I think it is an anime only scene where they show Meninas carrying Candice away. Possibly this and Lilotto pulling Giselle to safety are the only instances where the quincies actually act like comrades to each other.

Very few sternritters actually liked each other
Royal palace is 8187.5376 kilometers away from Soul Society . Auswhalen beams reached it basically in an instant but characters still managed to dodge it. And people say Bleach characters are not Faster Than Light .🤨

TYBW is one of the best manga adaptations I have ever seen.
"The object we raise in your heart" the answer is sliver, Ishida's father understood this when he operated on all the Quincy who died from Auswahlen, Ryuuken Ishida gathered up all the silver from the hearts of every Quincy. To make the arrowhead that'll end Ywach.
Maybe it won't feel like a deus ex machina in the anime.

"Voll-stern-dich" doesnt really make sense in german, but some parts do: "Voll" means something like "full", while "stern" means "star", so it means something like a full star on the one hand, and a complete form on the other hand. The last part "dich" means somethink like "you", which doesnt make sense. I think he just used it, to show that he means "vollständig" (complete) at the same time.
Episodes The Master and defienitily Black was awesome and battle between Quincies and Squad Zero was really EPIC defienitily Ichibe's and Yhwach's battle. Bleach Thousand year blood war part 2 was AMAZING and it was so nice to see Kon again after long time. See you Bleach next time on 2024, I can't wait. Until before that I'll watch ZOM100. 🔥🔥

Could this scene actually be BETTER than Aizen’s trancendent Hado 90? A masterful piece of art to be sure. His voice acting during the whole incantation was just…omg, and the music, and art. To actually get this quality in real life 🥲 Much love to Kubo, Shiro Sagisu, and the entire team who put out Cour 2!

They had been foreshadowing it with how he had been shown injecting his blut into Ichibei in order to steal Reio's hand, same with how he used it as a barrier by projecting it outward.
It makes sense that he combines it with his innate ability to retrieve souls and make it forceful instead of the normal way he retrieves souls (which is only after they die).
Just look at the halo when the lights drop, they appear like blut.

@@futureelement924 You're right... he injects his reiatsu in a subject, and then retrieves "that which is his"... in the Sternritters case, they had pieces if his soul within them as well as his blood in exchange for power... power which he can take whenever he injects his blut in them and retrieves everything that has his soul or blood in it, which is basically all their souls or power...
This is why he taunts Ichibei and says, "you dare touch me" to which he tries to injects blut into him and steal his power, but Ichibei forces it back damaging him.
His blut is probably the blut all Sternritters use... it's originally his power that he can take back.
As Nodt's dialog about telling his majesty to improve the durability of blut adds to the idea that it's originally his, and not a natural Quincy ability.

Why did they cut the Robert scene him being turned into a skeleton was one of my favorites, it explained why he was desperate in his fight with byakuya
Looks like the anime are making changes. He is likely still alive. I believe this was done because kubo wanted to get rid of the inconsistencies of the auswählen being fatal to some sternritter and others survive it. Also Gérard controversial death may be changed and he will be given a proper defeat. Based on the episode it looks like sternritter are powerful enough to survive the auswählen but normal quincy die. That's why the anime also showed the soldat getting hit with it
My favorite part of the bleach revival is that it released in an era where anime casuals think that bleach is a joke and has the weakest verse, imagine their faces when they see gremmy, Yhwach, Aizen, ichibe, kyoraku bankai, etc. They must be frothing on the mouth with power 😂
