So, basically, Ninja Storm broke the mold and raised a different kind of bar for the Disney Era? Huh, no wonder I enjoyed it growing up. Haha. Man, your take on this is so good! Awesome video! :D
Yeah. I remember people disappointed that Ninja Storm was marketed as a self-parody but there was little to none of that.... with the rangers(the 1st morphing scene is still priceless). It totally delivers on the self-parody image with the villains. Lothor and his nieces, despite being some of the most incompetent villains in tv history(even Dino Thunder knows that they are doofuses), were still able to hatch a believable plan to bait and destroy one of their henchmen who was plotting against them the whole time, and that I think was HILARIOUS!! A dude who does goddamn talk shows in his spare time is still able to actually pose a threat!!
You think they would've made it a bigger deal that Dustin was the first male yellow Ranger in over a decade, and first female Blue ranger (I think). But no, Ninja Storm never mentioned either
Chiko was here yes Tori was first as the previous female Blue was in Jetman, the season before Zyuranger/Mighty Morphin. There actually seems to be a pattern with female blues. Jetman came out 3 years after Liveman, Hurricanger was 11 years after Jetman, Magiranger 3 years after that, Zyuohger 11 years after that, thus the 2019 Sentai will have a female blue.
Well, to be fair, Ninja Storm didn't even think Rangers were a possibility before inheriting the Wind Morphers. So it might have been strange for them to suddenly become aware of such an important milestone, successfully doing away with any absurd notions regarding yellow being a color exclusively for women, at least, on the Ranger side of things. The Sentai of course did have plenty of Male Yellows before then.
Ninja Storm was (and probably still kind of is) one of my favorite Power Rangers seasons. I may be viewing it through some rose-tinted nostalgia glasses because it was one of the first seasons I watched growing up (and what got me into Power Rangers initially) and I recently rewatched it when the DVD was released. My opinion on it still remains the same. Even after all of this time, the comedic elements hold up and the lore they established was strong and consistent. Sure, it's not a masterpiece by any stretch but it was COHESIVE, which most Ranger seasons can't claim. Thanks for the review!!
Potential topic idea you could do: Take one of the sentai teams that aren't /haven't been adapted, such as Go-busters or Toqger and give a pitch for how you would have done that series
Athavan Rajasingham exactly, even those that seem more feasible like Kyuranger and Lupinranger vs Patoranger (I am so crazy I’ve added Rangers to these teams-mainly just because Lupinranger vs Patoranger is Hexagon but i think taking it a more Lost Galaxy plus Lightspeed Rescue plus Sentai then somehow create something from stock footage)
I think that might just be what I end up doing with my "Make a season" video so as to have more freedom in creating a story line as directly opposed to just trying to re imagine one that already exists. Thanks for the the suggestion! :)
Hi all! I'm FINALLY going to update my intro to include Ninja Steel when we actually get to the Ninja Steel review. I don't expect to make any grand sweeping changes beyond that relatively minor one, but we'll see what happens :)
Just one thing I’d like you to mention in that video. Or here, if you want. How does _Ninja Steel_ compare to _Samurai_ in your opinion? They seem parallel to me.
Everyone online fights me on this, but Cam was the best 6th ranger and best green ranger. He just did everything, acted well, was written-well. His growth was the highlight of this season tbh, in a season that brought us the perfection that was the comic-stylings of Marah and Capri.
Ninja Storm is one of my top favorite PR seasons ever! Objectively I put seasons like RPM & Dino Thunder above it because I know they improved on so many things (& I love those seasons as well lol) but personally Ninja Storm is held really close to my heart, maybe that's "nostalgia" talking lol since Ninja Storm - RPM (aka the Disney Era😁) is what I grew up on. Like to this day though yellow has been my favorite color since 2003 because of Dustin & Ninjas (& also spies) are probably my favorite theme for heros because of this show. I love the tonal humor that's set & the "extreme" sports of the skateboarding, surfing, & motocross. I think all your points were really great & fair, thanks for another really great analysis.
You know, for such a light hearted season, Ninja Storm feautures one of the Rangers darkest scenes: Shane's nightmare when he's under Eyezak's spell. That scene is creepy, and I love how they use the production design and wardobre to enfatize Shane's fear, a well planned and executed scene.
Before I get too far into today's episode, I'd just like to point out something I forgot to give you credit for in part 1. (Why I'm doing that here instead of on part 1 itself is largely due to my own sheer laziness; truly this is indeed the season for "chill."). For years, I never understood why this season's mentor was a CGI hamster. Thanks to you, I am now aware that both the mentor and the villain were played by the same actor; it's not exactly an original conceit, but certainly an interesting wrinkle to the usual cast dynamics. Makes me appreciate this season all the more. Thanks for bringing it up!
I can't tell you how glad I am to hear that. you appreciated the humor we tried to inject into the show. We took a lot guff for that over the course of the season, with a lot of the hard core fans HATING the idea that the bad guys are funny. We just felt like there really needed to be some lightness brought into the show. It had gotten SO bloody serious over the years and it was time to find the humor. In terms of the character arc issues, you are probably correct. It just becomes hard to give every character their due over the course of a show and we felt as though Blake and Hunter were better left mysterious as opposed to getting too deep into their back stories, Anyway, just a few thoughts from an old PR EP. Thanks for watching! Oh, an in terms of the Justin storyline when he switches to freestyle, you're pretty close there. We thought that it would be interesting for him to finally take control of his own future, not do what everyone thought he should do and turn to something he loved. The inspiration for this came from Travis Pastrana who basically gave up a brilliant racing career to go to freestyle.
Guinea pig sensei always gave me Master Splinter parody vibes. Also love the design of the PR uniforms. Always loved the ones that have more solid colors like Samurai, Ninja Steel, Beast Morphers, and the pirate ones from Mega Force. Never really a fan of the ones with crazy zigzags, or blocks of geometric shapes breaking up the middle.
give me ninja storm sensei over lame spd or lightspeed sensei any day or the lack of a mentor in lost galaxy or timeforce...or that weird lady from wild force...smdh...
Dustin was always one of my favorites, the Thunder Rangers were cool(but I think Blake had more development than Hunter just cause his relationship) but Dustin had the most development(2nd to Cam of course)
I think that team of Adam, Tori, Kiera, Bridge and Xander from Once a Ranger would be pretty cool to see again. Getting their own season as like a new time force, tho my idea is essentially just a Power Rangers version of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. I'm a little indecisive about an original team tho, cuz there as so many good characters to choose from and I haven't even seen every season.
Something that occurs to me about Lothor and his nieces is that they mess around *because* they are so strong, rather than being strong in spite of how much they mess around. The fact that at the end of the day they can beat just about anybody means they don't have to worry if whatever scheme they cooked up fails, since they will come out fine and can just try again.
ive been watching your analysis videos and i gotta say, its been great. in a very well explained videos. thanks for this. i actually am re-watching Time Force after your analysis!
nice jab at Victor & Monty lol, those bargain bin Bulk & Skull wannabes are why I already gave up watching Ninja Steel. And now I want to re-watch Ninja Storm again :)
EVERY time those two are on the screen, I cringe. It's gotten to a point where I feel like a Pavlovian dog who just automatically face palms before they've even said their piece. That said!....... I did laugh when they reacted to Redbot's book deal by saying "Famous???" in unison.
I binged Ninja Steel mostly out of boredom; it'd be a pretty good season without them IMHO. Their presence bogs it down quite a bit, though I did enjoy how their raging stupidity managed to cause legitimate trouble in the last few episodes, which is something not super common in shows like Power Rangers. The idiot side characters are usually mostly harmless save for 1 or 2 minor episodes, when in reality people like them often do cause serious problems for any sort of serious operation. It's like having a literal clown working in a fire station but never breaking character when on the scene; just asking for trouble and liable to get somebody killed.
Def love ninja storm definitely in my top 5 of ranger teams. I feel like everything was great, the choreography, some of the plots and even the puns and comedy were not as corny in seasons prior. Loved it
My Lineup if have all accessed: Red Ranger: Tyler Navarro Blue Ranger: Sky Tate Black/Green Ranger: Tommy Oliver Yellow Ranger: Kira Ford Pink Ranger:Shelby Watkins 6th Ranger: Doggie Cruger Mentor: Split between Oliver and Cruger If Limited to one per season Red Ranger: Tyler Navarro Blue Ranger: Noah Carver Black/Green Ranger: Ziggy Grover Yellow Ranger: Kira Ford Pink Ranger: Karone 6th Ranger: RJ Mentor: Cruger
Life is cool i guess um like as if Disney never puts effort to the franchise. In the Neo-Saban Era, they are trying to improve of the writing but Nickelodeon would not allow that. However let me break down for you, Samurai (Meh) which I don't like the season separation, Megaforce (Meh but disappointed), Super Megaforce (Super Mega Disappointed), Dino Charge (Great) still don't like the season separation, and Ninja Steel (Good but not better). How are you expecting Saban to be great if they are still in Nickelodeon? Explain that?
RedRobLikzDisney That’s why I feel the franchise will end soon because each era last for about 5-7 years. Neo Saban is the longest Era of Power Rangers so far and Saban is partnered with Nickelodeon until 2018. With the rate the show is going right now I don’t know what network is willing to purchase the franchise once 2019 approaches. They might move to Netflix or end at its 25th anniversary and air more reversions of Mighty Morphin like they did when Disney canceled the show after RPM.
Life is cool i guess For Netflix, I agree. But Nick re-versioning Mighty Morphin, No thank you. I guess that era is longer but not the best era of the franchise. And I am afraid that the franchise will go down than the franchise is not produce more seasons at all
Creating a team with existing characters would be interesting, but you'd need to consider the power dynamic. For instance pitting a strong pink leader like Jen with a red leader like Carter could be difficult. Also with the ultimate team, you'd need some of the best of the best non-powered allies. Boom and Dr K would be a good mix.
I couldn't agree more! And thinking about the character dynamics was was primarily how I went about creating that future video. For me, it's the most fun part about creating a hypothetical team.
I never understood where Mara and Kapri came from. They're nieces of Lothor, cousins of Cam... so by laws of family tree, there should be another brother or sister to Kiya and Kanoi that never gets mentioned or seen... at least not that I remember
Ninja storm Dino thunder and spd were my three favorites I grew up with them and I thank god for this season and New Zealand for saving the show I don’t know what I would have done in my life without power rangers growing up
Great analysis as always. I’d really like to see your thoughts on Ninja Steel. People seem very split on how they feel about the season. Maybe after that, you could make a video about Dino Charge.
Yeah? Just based on the comments I see, my impression was that nobody really liked Ninja Steel but I could be wrong on that. It's not as if it's void of things to like, but man, some parts are just tedious. Honestly, watching season 1 felt like work, lol.
The Disney Brain I guess it’s because I’ve seen some comments on other videos from people that seem to think that the season was ok. It’s true that a lot more people don’t like Ninja Steel compared to the ones that do. I personally thought it was just meh, but it bordered on bad many times. It wasn’t the worst, but there were some really big problems with it. Victor and Monty, Princess Viera’s instantaneous change of heart, that 5th episode, good lord I hate that episode, and much more. I feel that Dino Charge was much stronger as a season overall (except for the finale in Supercharge) but I guess we’ll have to see if that stays the same when Super Ninja Steel comes out. I doubt that much will change, but hey, maybe they might surprise us and give us a “super” season that is better that its predecessor, or just more disappointment.
To this point, I feel like every "Super" Season made the show worse, and from what info I've gathered so far, it seems like Super Ninja Steel will steal(Ha! Get it?) from the Megaforce playbook by giving us cameos and not character development.
The Disney Brain I have noticed that pattern of the “super” seasons being worse that their predecessors, and while I’m not expecting that to change, part of me hopes it does. Also, I agree that they should bring back people who actually care about what they’re doing like Kalish. Another person I think that should be brought back is Greg Aronowitz (he worked on S.P.D.) since he, along with Bruce Kalish, brought some great ideas and concepts to the series that I think it needed then and definitely needs now. Oh, and good pun!
Dream Team... Red- KC (Jungle Force) Pink- Jen (Time Force) Blue- Koda (Dino Charge) Green-Ziggy (RPM) Yellow- Taylor (Wild Force) 6th Ranger- Chip (Mystic Force, he's a 6th ranger as he is doing his own magic training) Mentor- Billy (Zeo) The inner dynamics of Jen having to work with Taylor, who shares a bit in commom with her personality. Backstory wise, the rest of the team being shoked by Ziggy coping in the apocalypse. Tommy's very "disciplined" actions vs others using very different fighting styles. Chip having to adjust to very front lined fighters and his own magic coming into play. Koda sharing a quiet moment with Andros about losing their sibblings for a while and the constant sacrifice being a ranger entails. And having a mentor the same age as you (Billy) brings up the Dr.K and Kendal Morgan relationship issues of being a mentor to your peers
Potential Topic: Best Villians, Best epidoes from the 25 seasons, creating your own ranger team complete with villians, mentor, zords using the last 25 seasons, breaking down the ninja ranger sega from MMPR, do Zeo, Turbo, and potential Big Bad Bettleborgs episode!!
I did do a top villains list a month or two back! Best episodes is a work in progress. The Ranger team idea I briefly mentioned on the back-end of this video, so that'll be getting done too :)
Great review! About the villains: beware of the silly ones. I really liked Dustin. The Samurai episodes were amazing. (Attention to characters and their development is something amazing) I do not like Keeper.
Since you mentioned topics, how about explaining which Power Ranger plot points work best and which doesn't, so that a future Power Ranger show may take those things in mind and don't fall flat on its face like Samurai and Megaforce did.
I would have 3 teams of 6 working together in 3 different locations. With Tommy, Carter, Billy, Katie, Karone (in her Galaxy gear), & Dillon as the first team. Jen, Kendal, Flynn, Casey, Chip, & Chase as team 2. And Kruger, Ziggy, Lauren, Preston, Trent, & Sarah as the 3rd team. With various other rangers working as lone operatives. The story would cross both time, & the multiverse, 'cause why not?
What was your favorite "era " of power rangers in your terms of writing and acting ? Like if they were to adapt the current sentai team who has over 10 rangers how would u like them to to be handled ?
My favorite era of Power Rangers in both those categories, and probably just in general, has to be the Post-Zordon Era. Three of the best Red Rangers you'll ever find anywhere in addition to three uniquely captivating 6th Rangers. And on top of all of that, that era gave us the best Pink Ranger in Jen, but also my favorite Ranger ever in Kendrix.
I agree they somewhere develops the character but didn't take beyond that. Also throughout the episode they develops the romance between Blake Tori. But at the end they ruined it. Also in crossover with dino thunder. Blake characters seemed totally changed
I remember being a little interested and casually checking out Ninja Storm when it was nearly finished. I watched it and I really did enjoy it and it's characters a lot. Probably not my favorite series but I love the characters and I wish at least one of them would appear in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. Speaking of that, what is your opinion on that game? For me I kind of am having fun with it but I really wish I got a bigger game with the concept. Like one that has an actual story mode and maybe even a few boss battles.
Been playing for a few months now. What I'd recommend is pretty much you can play for entirely free, but you watch as many advertisements as you can and get as many daily challenges as possible so you can get one weekly box that only activates after you get five daily challenges. Doing both of those can get you a fair amount of the free in-game currency crystals. Which you save up on for when there is a sale and use said crystals to get said boxes.... yeah, that's a kind of mouthful but it's worked wonders for me.
Hurricaneger pulled off more interesting stories with the Thunder Rangers/ Kabutoraiger and Kuwagaraiger, as they still dealt with pretty heavy things after joining the Hurricanegers that were just for them.
dude, you should do one of this with a super sentai serie/s, not only a thematic analisys but also things that do better and things that did poorly! that would be cool! keep doing this vídeos and anime vídeos, both are awesome! have na happy new year!
I noticed two things cam in the first episode as a way of foreshadowing and if looking at thunder rangers crowns crimson has four corners and navy has 5 corners
marcio miralda I saw the WNA has 4 prongs on its logo, Hunter had 3, Blake had 2, so that made me wonder what the logo for the Gold Thunder Ranger if they went with Hexagon
build a PR Dream team eh? Red: Carter Greyson (Lightspeed Rescue) Pink: Jenn Scott (Time Force) Blue: Theo Martin (Jungle Fury) Yellow: Elizabeth Delgado (SPD) Green: Ziggy Grover (RPM) Sixth Ranger: Leanbow (Mystic Force) Mentor: Billy Cranston (MMPR) assistant: Cameron Watanabe
Walter Lopez Red- KC (Jungle Force) Pink- Jen (Time Force) Blue- Koda (Dino Charge) Green-Ziggy (RPM) Yellow- Taylor (Wild Force) 6th Ranger- Chip (Mystic Force, he's a 6th ranger as he is doing his own magic training) Mentor- Billy (Zeo) The inner dynamics of Jen having to work with Taylor, who shares a bit in commom with her personality. Backstory wise, the rest of the team being shoked by Ziggy coping in the apocalypse. Tommy's very "disciplined" actions vs others using very different fighting styles. Koda sharing a quiet moment with Andros about losing their sibblings for a while and the constant sacrifice being a ranger entails. And having a mentor the same age as you (Billy) brings up the Dr.K and Kendal Morgan relationship issues of being a mentor to your peers.
I have a hard time picturing this team losing to anyone. Nice picks! I would love to see how pre-development Sky would react to Jen's assertiveness, lol.
I liked Ninja Storm as well. BTW,Disney Brain. Will you be doing more Disney Stuff too. I also would like to see you take a look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.
I do want to point out that Hunter was more developed then Blake, and they did it in an interesting way. I loved Good Will Hunting because it added more background to both Blake and Hunter and showed us that he was very close to his parents and why he was more determined to kill sensei then Blake. I also think the Shane vs Hunter episode was bland, but essential, sense this was the first time there has ever been two red rangers (not counting Eric).
That is an interesting topic, but I think the answer is a fairly clear one. They don't need Sentai footage, same as they don't need the original Japanese actors to be physically present while they film the American version. They do it to save money. I would argue that they really shouldn't have to, since they could create novel ideas by not being so hamstrung by the Sentai, thus improve quality, thus improve ratings, thus improve profits, and several seasons did somewhat embrace that philosophy.
Obviously I would have Kendrix as my team's pink ranger austin St John's version of Jason as red ranger TJ as blue ranger Jen as yellow ranger Xander as green ranger Danny as black ranger and Doggie as ranger mentor
Shark Dude 7 no I meant I put on my team a red black yellow pink blue and green ranger and a mentor even though I put Jen the pink Time Force Ranger as my yellow ranger
Hey Disney Brain what would you think if you could make a top 10 what if Ranger team ups, regardless of sequence between seasons what would they be and why?
That's an interesting question. I think Ninja Storm teaming up with Jungle Fury sounds fun. And of course, I'd love to the Galaxy Ranger team up with anyone.
That would be great! I'd love to see a return to the organizational approach. I think we've had our fill of teenagers in High School for at least a little while.
It'd be great but after ninja steel we'll probably be getting kyuranger since saban had a hand in it. But with 9 base rangers it could go that same direction.
In regards to your comment about Ronny and Kelsey teaming up with Shane and Dustin, I'm gonna say this: Is it bad that I kind of wanna see a Forever Yellow episode in the future? I mean, excluding Trini (For obvious reasons, rest in peace Thuy Trang), I think it's only right that the other colours are allowed their own team-up episode eventually, since whilst the franchise is synonymous with its worshipping of the Red Rangers (since they're the leaders), its only right the other team colours should have their own episode team-ups too. (Of course, there is the issue of actors like Emma Lahana and Rose McIver being unavailable, as a result of wanting to be disassociated with the brand, or as a result of becoming a union actor.) Honestly though, I feel like a lot of the Yellow Rangers would get along well, due to how similar their personalities. But that's just me. Lol If not Yellow or Green, Blue makes sense since they're the second in commands.
i gotta say i feel like all the rangers got some charector development except for tori she got one episode of development while all the other ranger had charector arks fit into the main plotline of the series, what do u guys ?
Without knowing more about lothor's back story I think kapri and marah were cams sisters cause during the last episode they called him family or half siblings
Carter is one of the greatest red ranger. He is the ideal leader the only thing that he lacks is charisma that's the reason everybody always will remember Tommy. The best team IMHO would be a mix: Carter as the Red Ranger, Cam Watanabe as the Black Ranger, TJ (from space) as the Blue Ranger, Trinity as the Yeollow Ranger and Jen (from Time Force) as the Pink Ranger. The sixth ranger I would say Doggy but that would be to much of a overkill so Astronema as the green Ranger. What do you think of this team? Would it work?
I like your team! A lot of people are choosing Jen, which is clearly a great choice, but the question that always enters my head is how much control would she take? Carter isn't a pushover by any means but I don't think he'd get in Jen's face too much either.
The Disney Brain Jen understands when she has to take control of things she would just serve as an advisor for Carter, cause he knows how to guide a team but he works better when there's someone above him.
So what would be your perfect season of Power Rangers? like whta theme what kind of characters in it, you can use paraleles with other characters of the series. It would be interesting if you show us your ideal season and who know's maybe neo saban can pick it up and NOT change a thing about your idea
My Dream Team of Power Rangers, with their respectives suits will be Leo Corbett as the Red Ranger, Z as the Yellow Ranger, Jen as the Pink Ranger, Tj as the Blue Ranger, Tommy as the Black Ranger and Jason as the Gold/Sixth Ranger
I really like this team! Lot's of strong characters with stronger personalities. With five former leaders in tow, I'd be curious to see how that plays out in terms of character dynamics.
I love the "Poor Cam burning through Advil", they definitely gave him a headache. He has to keep them in line constantly and felt underappreciated.
Another good analysis. I must admit that Ninja Storm is one of my go to seasons for when I want to just watch something light hearted.
light speed rescue time force ninja storm spd dino thunder are my go to series...I love all 5...wild force can go fuck itself....
@@razkable lol i cant stop lol
So, basically, Ninja Storm broke the mold and raised a different kind of bar for the Disney Era? Huh, no wonder I enjoyed it growing up. Haha.
Man, your take on this is so good! Awesome video! :D
Yep
It was a Awesome Bold season dont you just wish there was a button to return to the good old days

small point ELEMENTS of Go-busters were used in Dino charge i believe
Actually more like 'element'.
ok what do i know....even if i could I am not sure I'D WANT TO get inside Saban's head to know what he's thinking about anything right now.
7:43 OH NO, THERE COMES CARTER.......
TDB: ANDROS
GOTEM!
LOVE HOW CAM BECOMES THE GREEN SAMURAI RANGER!
Hi all! I'm FINALLY going to update my intro to include Ninja Steel when we actually get to the Ninja Steel review. I don't expect to make any grand sweeping changes beyond that relatively minor one, but we'll see what happens :)

Ninja Storm was fun. I enjoyed watching it beginning to end and I liked each character. My favorites of the Disney era were RPM > SPD > Jungle Fury.

You're very welcome! I'm glad the narrative of a relaxed season made it into the comments section as well, lol. Really brings it all together :)

Getting their own season as like a new time force, tho my idea is essentially just a Power Rangers version of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. I'm a little indecisive about an original team tho, cuz there as so many good characters to choose from and I haven't even seen every season.
I'd love to see what that team would be able to do with their own season. It would be interesting to see more from Adam as a leader too.
Love these vids man great job so much nostalgia I miss when these power rangers were just airing
Thank you!
this is the first season of Power Rangers that I remember watching all the way through; I enjoy it as much as I did back then
Dustin and Cam were favorite rangers this season.
These videos are entertaining and I enjoy watching these. DisneyBrain don’t stop doing what you do. You gotta do Operation Overdrive.
He already did an Overdrive review a while ago.
ive been watching your analysis videos and i gotta say, its been great. in a very well explained videos. thanks for this. i actually am re-watching Time Force after your analysis!
nice jab at Victor & Monty lol, those bargain bin Bulk & Skull wannabes are why I already gave up watching Ninja Steel.
Loved it
Fuck yes bro the whole reason I even subscribed to you tbh. Your analysis of the series is amazing! Just my opinion tho, good stuff

Ninja Storm is one of my favorites seasons of Power Rangers
i really love ninja storm, and im really excited to see where hasbro will take power rangers.
+The Disney Brain have you ever planned to change the intro for your Power Rangers videos for the 25th Anniversary of the franchise?
I do plan to update my intro once I review season 1 of Ninja Steel :)
I have a scary feeling that Power Rangers might end after its 25th anniversary because Neo Saban Era killed the franchise.
RedRobLikzDisney That’s why I feel the franchise will end soon because each era
last for about 5-7 years.
Vexacus design is incredible.
"This is not a P.A.M. this is an M.A.P. Make A Puppy!" Bwahahaha
Still the only Ninja season to see
Sad but true :/
What about not mmpr season 3 and alien rangers? 🤔
I never understood where Mara and Kapri came from. They're nieces of Lothor, cousins of Cam... so by laws of family tree, there should be another brother or sister to Kiya and Kanoi that never gets mentioned or seen... at least not that I remember
Ninja storm Dino thunder and spd were my three favorites I grew up with them and I thank god for this season and New Zealand for saving the show I don’t know what I would have done in my life without power rangers growing up
Ninja storm maybe goofy sometimes... but man i enjoy it a lot when i was kid...
still one of my favorite season..
Also can you do a top 10 mentors as well??? That would be very interesting
Red- KC (Jungle Force)
Pink- Jen (Time Force)
Blue- Koda (Dino Charge)
Green-Ziggy (RPM)
Yellow- Taylor (Wild Force)
6th Ranger- Chip (Mystic Force, he's a 6th ranger as he is doing his own magic training)
Mentor- Billy (Zeo)
The inner dynamics of Jen having to work with Taylor, who shares a bit in commom with her personality.
Please do Wild Force next
Athavan Rajasingham Yes please 😩
It's a huge storm of ninjas.
This was the series that got me into power rangers as a little kid.
Jared Walker not a true fan then
No mention of the awesome theme song?
I love power rangers and I wa slooking for a youtube channel like yours since I love comparing and analysing movies, tv series etc, my best whises.
Power rangers light speed rescue review or powers rangers RPM next please Disney brain
Great review!
About the villains: beware of the silly ones.
I really liked Dustin. The Samurai episodes were amazing.
(Attention to characters and their development is something amazing)
I do not like Keeper.
I would love to see a review from you about power rangers wild force, it's my favorite season
When Disney owned the franchise every season was different and you could identify them from each other that's something not there in neo Saban era
Looking forward to wild force
Since you mentioned topics, how about explaining which Power Ranger plot points work best and which doesn't, so that a future Power Ranger show may take those things in mind and don't fall flat on its face like Samurai and Megaforce did.
That's an interesting idea!
I never did get to see the last couple of episodes for this season.. Some day I'll watch them, but not today,.
Woohoo! Multiverse! Now we're cooking!
I really did enjoy Ninja Storm, it was a nice break from the seriousness that was found at the end of Wild Force.
anyone know why they never crossovererd with wild force
@laxus9451 Production moved from L.A. to New Zealand, and Disney didn't wanna pay to fly out the WF actors
I've played a bit of Legacy Wars, but I'm not very good at it, lol. And every character I'd want is so pricey :/
This season was as good as mystic force. Both were all right
Great video. Ninja Storm is a mixed bag for me. I was wondering, what happened to your Andi Mack reviews? Did you give up on the show?
I will always have a soft spot for Ninja Storm. It was my MMPR. It's what made me love Power Rangers.
Thank you! And a happy New Year's to you as well!
Red: Carter Greyson (Lightspeed Rescue)
Pink: Jenn Scott (Time Force)
Blue: Theo Martin (Jungle Fury)
Yellow: Elizabeth Delgado (SPD)
Green: Ziggy Grover (RPM)
Sixth Ranger: Leanbow (Mystic Force)
Mentor: Billy Cranston (MMPR)
assistant: Cameron Watanabe
Walter Lopez
Red- KC (Jungle Force)
Pink- Jen (Time Force)
Blue- Koda (Dino Charge)
Green-Ziggy (RPM)
Yellow- Taylor (Wild Force)
6th Ranger- Chip (Mystic Force, he's a 6th ranger as he is doing his own magic training)
Mentor- Billy (Zeo)
The inner dynamics of Jen having to work with Taylor, who shares a bit in commom with her personality. Backstory wise, the rest of the team being shoked by Ziggy coping in the apocalypse. My team
Red- Casey
Blue-sky
Black-Adam
Green-tommy
Yellow- Z
Pink- jen
6th- Eric
Extra- Trent
Mentor-Kruger
I hate to tell you this, but your sixth ranger would actually be a seventh. I like the line-up though.
Willie Oelkers lol I can't count apparently lol.
Willie Oelkers well technically 6th ranger usually infldicates next ranger outside the core. So if the core starts with 6
I have a hard time picturing this team losing to anyone. Nice picks! I would love to see how pre-development Sky would react to Jen's assertiveness, lol.
The Disney Brain hmm 1 Away from 10 like Dino charge for rangers. I'd probably add Antonio for gold. Make it an even 10 lol
I saw a video with an interesting topic I'd like you to make a video on. Does power rangers need to use super sentai footage anymore?
That is an interesting topic, but I think the answer is a fairly clear one. They don't need Sentai footage, same as they don't need the original Japanese actors to be physically present while they film the American version. They do it to save money. I would argue that they really shouldn't have to, since they could create novel ideas by not being so hamstrung by the Sentai, thus improve quality, thus improve ratings, thus improve profits, and several seasons did somewhat embrace that philosophy.
This is the first season I saw. I do agree it's not the best but it was my introduction to power rangers so I do have a spot got this
Obviously I would have Kendrix as my team's pink ranger austin St John's version of Jason as red ranger TJ as blue ranger Jen as yellow ranger Xander as green ranger Danny as black ranger and Doggie as ranger mentor
Jeremy Jones Xander is the best
Shark Dude 7 why do you think I made him like green ranger
Casey, Sky, Dustin, Xander, Jen, Tommy
Shark Dude 7 so is Tommy your Mentor or just your black Ranger because I had six Rangers in a mentor
Funny you Say Andros. I love Andros but he wasn’t much of a Leader ether.
Id like the next adaptation to be go buster because I think should slow down and try another organisation type series like spd
That would be great! I'd love to see a return to the organizational approach. I think we've had our fill of teenagers in High School for at least a little while.
It'd be great but after ninja steel we'll probably be getting kyuranger since saban had a hand in it. But with 9 base rangers it could go that same direction.
That's exactly what's happening now, with any luck they won't try to do Mighty Morphin Power Rangers but spies with animal themes
+The Disney Brain
can you do a top 10 red rangers video
I already know exactly what my dream team would be. :P
I'll have to wait and see if whether or not Bruce Kalish should come back for the franchise in the next year. Oh well, here's to the new year!!!
In regards to your comment about Ronny and Kelsey teaming up with Shane and Dustin, I'm gonna say this:
Is it bad that I kind of wanna see a Forever Yellow episode in the future? I mean, excluding Trini (For obvious reasons, rest in peace Thuy Trang), I think it's only right that the other colours are allowed their own team-up episode eventually, since whilst the franchise is synonymous with its worshipping of the Red Rangers (since they're the leaders), its only right the other team colours should have their own episode team-ups too. (Of course, there is the issue of actors like Emma Lahana and Rose McIver being unavailable, as a result of wanting to be disassociated with the brand, or as a result of becoming a union actor.)
Honestly though, I feel like a lot of the Yellow Rangers would get along well, due to how similar their personalities. But that's just me. Lol
If not Yellow or Green, Blue makes sense since they're the second in commands.
i gotta say i feel like all the rangers got some charector development except for tori she got one episode of development while all the other ranger had charector arks fit into the main plotline of the series, what do u guys ?
Can you do a top 10 battlizer stories, since you said you don't care for battlizers themselves
And ninja storm is the first one to have 3 main rangers instead of 5. But I guess that credit goes to the sentai version
The Disney Brain Jen understands when she has to take control of things she would just serve as an advisor for Carter, cause he knows how to guide a team but he works better when there's someone above him.
once I heard you say, Kelsey, I knew you were going to push the Carter button
RIP red wind ranger pau magasiva
i would love to see you look at wild force
After doing the Best Power Ranger Team video, can you please make a Lightspeed Rescue analysis video?
So what would be your perfect season of Power Rangers? like whta theme what kind of characters in it, you can use paraleles with other characters of the series. It would be interesting if you show us your ideal season and who know's maybe neo saban can pick it up and NOT change a thing about your idea
If Mara and Capri are Lothor's nieces and Cam's cousins then who are their parents? Is there a third sibling?
I think you should discuss designs when you review seasons from now on.
A season with them will be simply gold, It will be like the never make Hexagon
Hey Disney Brain, think you can rank the strongest rangers? By Bravery, Brute Force, Swordsman Ship, etc. Thanks it be great.
I'm weirdly attracted to that one flora monster back when i was a kid; And i still do.
