    These tips are fantastic and spot on. I'm starting to get the tension and coordination part for leads when I'm in the zone with certain partners. I'll do these exercises religiously. Thanks!

      Awesome. Remember that practice is the most important part. I would advise also to focus A LOT on controlling your body (proprioception, balance, sincronization, etc) and shifting the weight.

    I am probably weakest on the rhythm-body coordination. Thanks for the exercises!

    Thank you, great video. The tension is usually where I have an issue. I usually tell leaders I need more tension, especially when dancing with beginners.

    This was a fantastic video that I need to share with my husband. We are learning the bacchata now and are trying to get beyond the basics and look more sophisticated (we just started learning bacchata in January and only practice once or twice a week). Thank you for the great explanation and exaggerated examples.

      Thank you. Being at the beginning I recommend you to really focus on the basics and so you will evolve in a few months like others in years :D

    Thank you so much for sharing how to handle with those three important issues in bachata . I already new about the push and pull exercise, but i had no ideia about the other exercise and how important they are .
    You are amazing, many other teacher don't care about sharing that information and just teach figures !!!🙏🙏🙏

    Quick question: I feel like whenever I dance with ultra experienced dancers I usually have an absolutely horrible dance and feel no connection, but for people around my level, it usually seems quite fine and I feel a push and pull? Any thoughts?

    • @MariusElenaBachata
      @MariusElenaBachata  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There can be a lot of reasons.
      Depends on your experience/level and if you are a leader or follower.
      As a leader you can create a lot easier the tension. You can "request" it, if it makes sense.
      As a follower, having troubles with this with experienced dancers, is kind of wiers. There must be something else in the middle.

    • @den9579227
      @den9579227 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Perhaps the question is how do you define "experienced dancer" for yourself. Not always "good looking dancer" means comfortable, pleasant and thus good dancing.

    • @MariusElenaBachata
      @MariusElenaBachata  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@den9579227 Definitely.
