ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

Can we talk about how much Pat accomplished in such a short time? First he convinces his friends to help rebuild the bus stop then he gives Pran his guitar back that he thought was gone forever and he also got them back in the competition. The amount of things he’s able to accomplish when he is determined is actually insane.
Also he 100% kept that guitar because he wanted a piece of Pran with him after he left and deep down he was hoping that Pran would come back for it and he only gave it back now because he has him back. You can’t tell me any different. Mans hid that from his parents for 3 years.
Yesss. Ikr. He must've felt so uneasy thinking that Pran got transferred because of him. Also, they never really hated each other like their fams wanted them to so that friendship still remained ig. Even though they were not on good terms, they didn't hate eo either. And No one can change my mind about Pat hoping that Pran would come back.

At this point, I probably wont even mind if this ends up as a story of friendship, instead of love. I have always noticed that whenever Pran felt low, Pat was there to cheer him up. Whenever they weren't fighting, Pat would subconsciously care for Pran. His mood swings affected Pat's behaviour many times and he would turn the world upside down just to see Pran happy. If this isn't falling in love, I don't know what else is.

Nanon’s eyes towards the ending scene speaks volumes of emotions, not a single word uttered and neither were they needed. Can we just take a second to realize how good Pran's actor is? He's able to convey so much emotion just with his eyes, I think he's really good. So far this is one of my favorite BLs, hope there won't be too much drama until they finally get together

It's the little things that get me, like Pran hesitating for a sec before asking Pat to join him for dinner, Pat lovingly staring at Pran while he strokes the chords, Pran looking at the watch when Pat leaves. He now has two things returned to him by Pat that he cherishes.

I know right. It's obviously a sign showing only to the person in the opposite room. So it's like mood of the day that Pran intensionally put there for Pat to see. And Pat constantly responses to that. Some little communication secrets shared between them. 😊

It's the third EP already and I'm still constantly wowed by Nanon's and Ohm's levels of acting. Veteran, award-winning actors and their super nuanced acting really do make such a huge difference. Also, I'm quite impressed by all the supporting characters so far. Characters like the profs who only make brief cameo are often bland and awkward, but here they blend in perfectly. No one makes me feel awkward to watch, and that's an impressive feat for the cast and P'Off.

exactly! i've seen some of these actors in other shows, but on here they really sell the "normal person" character. the realistic dialogue writing and directing really shows through.

what’s so endearing about pran is that you can SEE that the tough guy exterior is just that: an act, and pran is barely able to keep it up with the way everything that pat does makes his heart melt a little more. you just know that he has loved him for so long thinking that it would never be possible between the two of them and now that he has pat back in his life again in a twist of fate, it’s almost like he is falling in love all over again and harder this time.

Every episode Pat breaks his back to do things for Pran and make him happy, but Pat gets something out of it also. Everytime he does things for Pran and they go well, Pat gets to spend more time with Pran. Pran said Pat seems so happy when he gets to compete against him, and yes it's because he's competitive, but competing also means spending more time with each other. And as rivals, Pat will always be on Pran's radar, and likely at the forfront of Pran's mind, which is exactly what Pat wants. Just too adorable *sobs*

Pran's eyes and his expressions when Pat's comments make him hopeful especially the last part when Pat said he likes to see Pran's face. Their chemistry was something else and the acting felt so natural. I know I could never move on from Badbuddy.

Pat like girls and date with someone, he didnt realise his feelings for pran. I think they exclude the girl which is a good thing. After realising his feelings pat is like a puppy. Pran is tsunder but he loves pat so much. I think the novel showed an another dimension of their relationship. I think series done a good job in that case because it shows how the love started.

I just read a post from tumblr, and they pointed out the light in Pran's eyes when Pat says "I just like to see your face" and how it extinguished the exact moment when Pat says "when you lose". This is my third time rewatching this scene and I could really see it. It's subtle, not just in the eyes but his entire expression(?) fell. In his mind, he's probably justifying the fact that "yeah right as if Pat would ever like to see my face..."
This series seems like normal love story not like common BL Stories( Note: Normal and common BL stories doesn't mean criticism, hate or ignoring struggles, This series doesn't portray as BL story, it feels everything normal not emphasizing on gender but only pure relationship you have between friends and lover.) Huge credit goes to both lead actors who made viewers feel the chemistry between the character they are portraying, they are freaking AWESOME ACTORS. The chemistry they created is like soo good. Yeah can't forget Director who directed as normal and awesome. And same goes to the actors played as their friends, support. The whole cast, director music everything seems so good till now. Hope the remaining story and ending doesn't disappoint. Loving it till now.
Don't forget the writers the wit and the dialogues are amazing
What i love about this series is the pacing of the story and episodes, I have scene BLs where i have to actually watch in 2x speed just to hear 1 or 2 dialogues but hardly any pacing issue with GMMTVs series.

Pran likes pat so much it’s as clear as day. He just follows what he feels and retreats and withdraws if he gets hurt…. But pat reins in on his feelings not showing too much on the surface covering for his care with sarcastic jokes and remarks. I think he’s being very careful not to let his feelings run too free cause he knows it will be difficult for both of them and hurt them if they get in too deep. He’s being very careful here trying keep a balance between his care for Pran and his teasing.
And it’s quite sad to see that Pran talked much nicer to Pat in high school. Apparently his parents transferred him away really hurt him a lot. He tried to hide his feeling and pretend to be cool and mean to Pat. But with Pat’s flirty tone and his help, Pran can’t hide his feeling very soon.

I think when it comes to education and stuffs Pran's surpasses Pat more (Pran is a natural smart guy). On the other hand, Pat made his friends willing to help (reverse psychology). Pat is more on street smarts. Both have an interesting and creative way of thinking. And when they combined, you would definitely don't dare to fight them.

I've never been this obsessed with a series like this to the point i never get bored to keep rewatching all of it. There's always something new i notice which is kind of mindblowing when i take time to enjoy it. Like Pran's heart eyes everytime Pat teased him to the point he almost outburst any feelings he kept if only Pat not destroy it with his common words. Or the way at 11.00 minute of this video when he saw his watch, now i understand why he always wears it cause he's that kind of guy who's saving precious memories in his mind at that exact time. He's saving all of Pat pieces in his mind.
This episode made me realise Pat is essentially a good chap but the male figures around him have terrible influence on him. He's actually thoughtful and clever whenever he's with his sister or Pran. Then he hangs out with those mates of his, and suddenly his worst is brought forth.

I'm still wondering where the hell did Pat hid Pran's guitar when he lived at his parent's house. Like it has Pran's name written on it with huge letters.
It's actually pretty amazing to see how far Pat is willing to go to just help Pran. He'll do anything for him, to help him and see him happy and seeing Pran happy makes him happy too. It's actually incredible that he doesn't realise he's in love with Pran until later.
On that note, every time Pat is particularly kind, flirty or shows that he pays attention to Pran in any way, Pran always looks so happy and sad at the same time. And it's so frustrating cause Pat is so observant when it comes to Pran but he doesn't seem to notice that.
