ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

There is a reason people keep coming back to this kiss. There may have been hotter kisses in other Thai BL dramas. But this was....everything. A feeling, from Pran, who never had any hope that Pat will ever like him, he hid his feelings so well, but one kiss and he could not hold off any longer, though people have said the tears are from his conviction that they cant be together due ti their families, but i feel its also because the moment was too overwhelming for him. And a feeling from Pat, a feeling of something new but something so overpowering that it engulfed him. He had a crush on INK before, but he could stay quiet and not act on it for years. But the moment he realised his feeling s for Pran, he COULD NOT hold himself back more than a day. This series, their chemistry is everything. I have seen 10+ BL dramas since finding out this world 2 months back, and i love all of them. But this will be my go to my soul relief forever. Hope the actor's friendship is still strong, dont want relationship but a glimpse of their friendship would be lovely though.❤.

@@giem3986 Sorry I didn’t reply to this earlier! I’ve finished it now and the series was so good, Ohm and Nanon’s acting was on point as well. It really tugs on the heartstrings and it just portrayed everything so well, from the romance, friendships and the parents’ fights with each other! It was such a wholesome BL, and you can see Pat+Pran’s love for each other :)

Many new BL fans might not watch Bad Buddy but I want everyone to know that Bad Buddy is the reason why they are getting quality BL content. This show raised the standard so high in the industry.
Everytime I come here I always read the new comments praising the show, production and storyline but mostly Ohm Nanon's magnificent acting. I know Bad Buddy is one of the most famous BL but I want it to get even more famous. I want people to know just how impactful this series is till date. I have watched a lot of BL and romance dramas and very few had left this much effect on me that I know the dialogues by heart. Gosh I could write a whole essay about why Bad Buddy is the best BL

I really love how everyone mentions how the kiss scene delivers so much and so many emotion. That is exactly what the intention was. It is not one of those sensual BL kisses. It makes them smile in sadness. Ohm and Nanon delivered what the director asked them so perfectly that we could feel every drop of emotions through the screen. And that's the reason why this scene will always remain relevant in the industry. Even big actors and actresses struggle with delivering good kiss scenes yet these two actors did it at such a young age. Ohm and Nanon are two of the best actors I have ever scene. They deserve so much recognition

Prat crying during the kiss because his feelings got reciprocated after years of longing, and then walking away because he knows that it’s impossible for them to be together… And the way the kiss just screamed relievement and passion.. This scene is one of the best series scenes I’ve seen in a long time their acting is just so on point. One kiss well acted spoke more than words!

nor will there ever come such a series or such a couple again.they can get close to them, but they will never be them. no one will ever have their chemistry and make everything feel so natural. they won't be able to make millions of people feel the same feelings they made them feel for the first time. even if they have moved on from this series and won't be together, they deeply know the impact they left on people. you can't erase that kind of impact by never working again, by never being mentioned together again. you can't erase that kind of impact even if years go by. i'll always have their imprint on everything i watch. something like that only comes once in a hundred years, and these two men made it happen.
For me even after 2 years nothing has beaten this rooftop.

bro this is a masterpiece. I mean it's just so unique. The scene before the kiss . When pran comes in with Wai , it's just impeccable. I mean all the emotions. Pat is so confused yet so whipped and Pran is just trying to understand Pat's behaviour atm and preventing him from revealing their relationship. It's just so cinematically amazing.

Cards on the table, it's the best kiss of all the series I've ever watched, BL or not. The emotions, the hands, the breaths, the tears, the smiles, everything was perfect and they are such great actors. This kiss was intimate but not vulgar, it was MEANINGFUL for both of them.

Think what you want, this episode was BL acting high ground. BL's comes and go, but the last bit of this episode still stands out after 3 years. OhmNanon created some of the best moments in BL history, they maybe not on speaking terms now but what they left in their BL legacy is untouchable.

I found their different reactions after the kiss totally fascinating and probably really telling about the characters. The way Pat couldn't stop smiling and clearly felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. While Pran looked devastated and almost scared that he has opened up to the possibility of heartbreak. Pat, having only recently discovered his feelings, hasn't had the time to consider the risks and difficulties that Pran obviously has. Poetic cinema.

Pran also has so much to think about: his friends and Pat's friends who hate each other and their parents who hate each other. Finding love in a sea of hate won't be easy but I hope there's a happy ending
To them, the kiss meant different things. To Pat, the kiss was Phan accepting his feelings after he confessed that "No (I can't be just friends with you. I need to be more)" which is why he was smiling after the kiss. But to Phan... The kiss was the culmination of years of yearning, years of one sided love. To him, Pat's "No" gave him enough strength to let down his walls, to be vulnerable for once, to forget the world and just listen to his heart.
That's why the kiss had some kind of desperate feeling to it. Pat's kiss was brief and sweet but Phan's kiss was longer and almost melancholic. Phan pours in the emotions he carried inside him all those years into the kiss, telling Phat "I love you. I love you so much but I can't have you because the world is against us. I can't lose you again so it's better to not have you at all. But just this once, let me feel you, hold you. Just this once, let me love you just as Me and You." And Pat responds with "I love you. I'll let you hold me for as long as you want. Accept me. I'll give you everything you ever want. Love me back. You mean the world to me."
And that's why after the pull back, Pat smiles but Phan just looks heartbroken. Because Phan now knows what he's letting go of but he has no choice. He puts his walls back up again and closes off his heart and marches away to collect his broken pieces by himself. Meanwhile Pat is still riding on the high from the kiss, giddy that his feelings were reciprocated but when Phan leaves, he is left with the reality of what just happened. His smile fades away as he realises that the kiss may not have meant the same thing to Phan as it was for him. Pat does not care about others but Phan knows the bitter feeling of being ripped apart from the one he loves so he can't let himself be broken again. Pat is willing to fight the world but Phan's world is Pat and he can't lose him. Not again.
Ohm and Nanon were spectacular. Their kiss felt like a conversation and I cannot praise the beauty of it enough!

I'm rewatching this series, and I still got blown away by this episode. Ohm and Nanon poured their heart and soul into the rooftop scene, and I get so emotional every time. At 11:11, the way Nanon's eyes show hope, desperation, and love.. he is amazing. Their chemistry is so so strong; bad buddy has to be my all-time favorite thai bl. I typically don't rewatch series since it never hits the same as the first time, but this drama is just too good. I've enjoyed re-experiencing their love story unfold. Bad Buddy is a masterpiece; I said what I said.

I don't know how many times I watched this episode. It's been nearly 2 years since it aired, still it's one of the best kissing scenes in the BL world. I really love the way the dialogues and gestures lead to that kiss. The way Pat is clearing about his uneasiness and clarifying his love towards Pran is the most iconic love proposal I've ever seen. The other thing is their delivery of dialogue and body language. Ohm and Nanon brilliantly acted as Pat and Pran. We can see what is going on Pat Pran's mind through their faces. And we can also see the different pain on their faces. Pat is jealous towards Wai and he is starting to feel that his jealousy is nothing but pure love. And Pran is confused about how to show his feelings he was carrying on ages ago. How ironic. In this scene both of them made me cry my eyes out. The longing for love for both of them is so different. The plot, enemies to lovers is simple and it is used in pretty much all series. But, approaching that plot is making it different and that's why this series is standing out from any other series. And this series, especially this episode made a special place for Ohm and Nanon in my heart. Thank you P'Off for giving us this masterpiece.❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚

This is the BEST CONFESSION SCENE!! The way Pat poured out his honest feelings to Pran for the first time like how he hated Pran playing their song with someone else, how he was relieved without him but lonely without him too. Love the way he answered Pran's question with a half-voice and half-air "No", it was like he needed it out of him but it was also it was hard to get it out. Ughh I'm saying it AGAIN, I LOVE THIS SCENE!!!

I finished watching this series 2 days ago. And I swear to god the rooftop scene is one of the most realistic, raw, beautiful, emotional and longing packed scene I've witnessed ever in any drama or movie. I watched this complete rooftop scene many many times since finishing the series. And it still gets me. 😭 After finishing this series I feel so lonely 😭
Everyone's talking about the kiss but I think Pat's face after Pran walks away hits harder than the kiss. It just screams realization of what he had done and I forgot for a second that it was acting. Amazing job to both of them!
Well Pran’s face too. Going into the kiss his face seemed filled with this sense of “i need this.” But halfway through the kiss it got progressively more pained leading up to Pran’s final facial expressions of “this has to be the only time, we cant do this again, ever.”

I know everyone comes here for the kiss scene but the fight scene is something we need to talk about more. I have replayed it multiple times. The way they both portrayed the emotions in the fight is insane. I have never seen such natural acting in BL ever before. I replayed it just to observe their expressions.
Pat, now knowing both his and Pran's feelings, gets ticked off seeing him with Wai. He couldn't contain his emotions and the newly found feelings he has for Pran messes up his head channeling it to anger.
Pran on the other hand sensed that Pat may have found out about his feelings but he probably doesn't know the feelings are reciprocated gets jeopardized on how to handle the situation.
Wai who is looking out for his friend and has a hatred towards Pat just adds fuel to the fire
The way this scene is delivered is crazy and deserve more praise
The pain in Pran's eyes after the kiss shows mixed emotions: longing, wanting more, freedom but what prevailed upon all these is the realization that they can't be together because of the situation they're in. While Pat's smile shows what he feels in the present, Pran's eyes showed the conflict of the future.
And I confirmed all these when he said "We both know how it will end. Isn't it better not to start at all?" :(

After the kissing scene: two completely different feelings. Pat is joyous, relieved, experimenting some sort of liberation for having realised his true feelings and finally shown that to Pran. Pran on the other hand is touched, it's even tangible how strong his longing for Pat is, by the way he kissed Pat back, however he flees the scene in desperation, because he knows he could never have Pat as a lover, given their parents circumstances. The confusion in Pat's face after Pran left is conveyed in such gentle way, because he too realised that the reality might not allow them to be together. The final scene, Pat's astonishment is superb. Best scene in my opinion. The kiss was, no doubt, one of the best so far in BL history. You can tell the characters really wanted it, consumation of their most profound desire. Kudos to the actors and director. Brilliant job.

I admit it publicly, I will never be able to get over Bad Buddy, much less this scene. The colors, the sound setting, the performances, the posture, god everything is absolutely magnificent.
Every time I see her again I highlight one detail or another and find millions of meanings, Phat's notorious confidence in facing her emotions and feelings, while in Pran there is a contradiction on the one hand there is happiness for being reciprocated, but there is a hint of fear rising in him because he knows that kiss changes everything.
I must always highlight that Ohm and Nanon did a magnificent job, but without a doubt P'Aof did a splendid managerial job. ♥︎

Once again Nanon did not come to play, holy crap. His tears, the kissing, the buildup. This last part was just a whirlwind of emotions. Can't wait for the next episode.
I feel like his eyes are totally showing all that he's feeling inside.
When pat starts talking about their past, I can see the hope in pran's eyes that maybe his love can finally be responded. Then pat asked about them being friends, and the tears came out of pran's eyes because he hoped for too much and knew the most he could ever settle with (and that's already more than enough considering their family history) is true friendship. And somehow just being friends hurt more than being distant, because pran's love for pat may never happen.
THEN pat said "no" (he doesn't want to just be friends). And pran just completely gave in to his feelings, letting go of his fears, doubts, insecurities for just a second - to allow both pran and pat to express their longing and love for each other. It was just so so beautiful.
Once the moment passed, the doubts and fears that he had been carrying for too long came back and he left.
At least that's what I took from the scene just from looking at nanon's eyes. How he could make me assume all these thoughts that pran had in his mind, just with his eyes.... It just blows my brains out. God my eyes can't stop tearing and my soul can't stop feeling the hope, pain, relief, and doubt all over again.
He is not playing even for his first BL drama. Every bl actors should takes a notes from him. Gurl byeee. 🔥

Just found this series last month and it is SO SO GOOD! I love that it didn't do all the "typical" things you see in just about every other BL/GL where atleast 1 of them is a boss and the other a subordinate, or 1 is ridiculously rich and the other is not. Or one kisses the other and catches them off guard and they are in shock. Everything about them is just organic. This series has been the most original BL series I've seen thus far and I am relatively new to BL genre. Side note: Pat's shirt says "Baseball Mom" on it haha

The way they face their feelings is so different... you can see when Pat decided to gamble it all - when he said "no (I don't want us to be friends)". Ohm's acting was so, so good. Nanon's too, of course. Pran's eyes were begging Pat to take the first step, and that's completely understandable - because of Pran's more cautious personality and because he wasn't sure of Pat's feelings - his (Pran's) feelings, on the other hand, were clear for all to see in his eyes when he asked Pat "do you want us to be friends?" And also, at the end - Pat's so happy, but Pran's already thinking about the future - how can they be together when their families hate each other? There will be so much angst!! When I started to watch "Bad Buddy" I wasn't expecting anything (maybe because the title is a little cheesy, I don't know), but it turns out this is the best drama I've seen in a while! So precious, so good!

I have to agree. I didn’t set my expectations high because of the title and the overview they shown us at first was kinda usual. But it’s surprisingly beautiful. The two lead actors specially are so good.
I've watched a lot of BL and very few have made me emotional like this series has. I literally cried when they kissed and I haven't reacted like this before to any BL series I've seen to date. These 2 really have something special and it translates so well on screen.
This scene stands out and always will… the intense, raw and mixed feelings they deliver gives me chills. Hats off for the thousands time to the screenwriter, director, composer and these two incredibly talented actors. Thank you.
this kissing scene was so well done i cannot explain it. it wasn't awkward or anything. rather than feeling like a confession of love, the atmosphere made it feel like a "last kiss before we part" or something like that. i love how everything sets the mood right. the way pran initiated the second bold kiss as if it was the last time he would see pat so he knew he wouldn't have to regret this, and pat smiling cause he thinks the kiss was an acceptance but then slowly he realizes thats not what pran meant and his expression turns into a saddened look, the music and the nightly rooftop environment, everything fits perfectly in place. this is seriously the best kiss scene i have ever seen in any show i've watched.
This was one of the very last scenes they filmed. So... maybe it affected the mood and added deepness, intentional or not. Idk. Just love every detail. Also, Ohm (Pat) wasn't supposed to cry before the kiss but they shoot it in one take and decided not to change anything.

The build up before they kissed is just so natural. The way they looked at each other before the kiss had me hooked up, a lot of emotions there. The sound of their breath during the kiss and the way each of them took control of the kiss is just soo perfect. This tops my list of the best kissing scene. Not too sexual but it feels like a culmination of the years of longing. The eyes and smile of Ohm after the kiss is the feeling of relief and happiness after finally facing his own heart. The small tears of Nanon of knowing that this cant be right because of their realities. There are just soo many emotions in that several seconds of kissing.

Let me tell you about I told Sunset About You. It could literally be on Netflix. It's that good of a quality. There's a lot of crying in the 1 season. I hope you don't mind that hehe, and It's very up and down and in the 2 season, a lot of time jumps (which I'm personally not a fan of) but amazing acting and chemistry between the character's. The writing and the storyline and filming is way better than other Bl's. Put that show before anything else on your list, trust me it's that good. I agree too that this is one of the best Bl's I've seen so far. This show is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm watching BL's :D It doesn't have as good quality or filming as I told sunset about you though.

it's been a more than a year and this rooftop kiss scene is still the BEST in my eyes.
When the kiss ended, Pran looked so vulnerable... you could tell he was torn between giving up the entire universe for Pat or to build a higher wall between them because the idea of them together is so impossible..! So many emotions were portrayed in the ending scene: regret, loneliness, hesitation, desperation, longing, passion, relief, joy, pain, and sadness. My heart aches for them so much!

My goodness, the rewatch still hits like the first time I have watched this scene. No lines were said but we knew that after the kiss, Pat was relieved but Pran was now more worried. Then the confusion on Pat after Pran left.
I thought My School President is coming close to besting this series but nah, after just rewatching this scene, this scene alone is hard to surpass if anything else.

Man, the way they are crying and how visible their longing towards each other during the kiss is such a masterpiece! Hands down to these actors on how well they portrayed the characters!! I unconsciously found myself also tearing up while watching this! And look how relieved Ohm's character after the kiss, realizing that Nannon's character is also feeling the same! Man, their eyes speaks for them!! They did really well, and man that kiss! It was freaking real!!
That's it! I'm convinced, Bad Buddy is the best BL series I've ever watched!!!

Yeah I agree, I think Bad Buddy is the best Thai BL I've watched. The best Thai series I've watched. Ingredients is also pretty close but it falls under a mini series. But yeah those two are extremely good. The best Chinese BL I've watched is Word of Honor.
I cant even explain it. This kissing scene is one of the best kissing scenes ever. The first kiss was like a "yes or no?" kiss to see if it was okay and when they realized that they both wanted the same it became very wild. As they finish you can see an expression of relief from Pat. You can see how they've been holding these desires and feelings in for many years and they were all let out through this kiss. The actors are amazing. Those small details omg. I love it. I truly love this and the actors. Again wonderful
