Cool vid eagle is a great spot, but a sucker is not a squaw. Other than that cool vid keep it up and make some from the south fork those are my fav vids the south fork always gets my blood pumping just watching vids.

Great video! i have watched a few of your edits since moving to Meridian, and have hit the river already a countless amount of times. loving the diversity of fish on the Boise. one thing i just wanted to clarify though is the Northern Pike Minnow or "squaw" fish as we call them back in Washington is a different species of fish then the sucker you caught in the video. Northern Pike Minnows have a regular jawed mouth and are devastating to trout and salmon populations mainly feeding on juvenile fish. White sucker fish typically feed on invertebrates, algae, and plant matter but from time to time also smaller fish. Anyways just thought i would inform you of that not trying to be a jerk. keep the videos coming and if you ever want to catch a common carp on the fly DM me on instagram.

What part of the river is that I just bought my first fly Pole and I was going to mostly fish between eagle and star unless there are better spots

Try under and above the bridge on N eagle rd there are some good spots around there. As well as right near star road.

I like to go under the gowen bridge. It depends on how ow deep the river is. But I don't go past my waist. If it is getting so deep it means your standing in the fishing hole. Lol
