I totally sympathize with the smoke. We had a next door neighbor that smoked and I hated it coming in. He has since died and now the new neighbors don’t smoke thank you Lord!
Another very interesting vlog, Lilibet. As a person who has allergies and asthma, I feel unwell when people around me smoke. Smoking is a terrible addiction and I feel for those in its grip, but it is so unfair that their habit is impacting you in your home, especially when you have to watch your health. The air purifier is a great idea and may also cut down on your need to dust and keep your apartment smelling free from cooking odours. We have bought one for use in our new home (we get the keys today and move-in tomorrow). Plants are also said to be great at improving air quality. Nasa claims that the Sansevieria (also known as Mother-in-Law Tongue or Snake Plant) is the best air-purifier and it is very easy to grow. I'm glad that you were able to clear the water in the dishwasher and that there was no need for a repairman. You have such a great can-do attitude. What a lovely voice you have Lilibet! It was nice of you to let us enjoy your singing and playing. Oh cigarette smoke is one of the worse things. I've never been tolerable to it as it makes me nauseous and if I'm around it too long gives me a headache .Having two chronic pain conditions and with the medications I take for them, I'm not supposed to be around cigarette smoke.I have my lungs checked because of one of my conditions as well. I used to live in an apartment and had a neighbor who smoked on their balcony and I would have to go in every time they came out. It was so annoying. I live in a house now and my neighbor next door is a chain smoker. I have air purifiers in my home and couldn't do without them. I'm so glad you have that air purifier and I hope it helps keep the air in your home safe.

Having neighbor issues as well, someone who just moved in speak so loud on their balcony across from me so i can’t have my window open. So sorry to hear about your issue, i would speak directly with the person and share your health issues and if they don’t change, share calmly you will go to the apartment association ❤
Hi Therese, noisy neighbours cause a lot of stress. Thanks, I have told my neighbours about my health but it hasn't stopped the problem. The owners corp have said I can't make an official complaint until I know which apartment the smoke is coming from... sigh... ❤
I sympathise! My neighbours like wood fired bbq and pizza ovens, it is not fun, but I got a Dyson air purifier and use the air con in a locked up house. It is not ideal,but better than calling the ambulance. Well done solving your problems .
You are so good attending to all your little fix-it programs. How awful having to deal with a neighbours smoke. We are moving into an apartment for the first time soon and I hope it's not something that impacts me sitting on our verandah or having windows open. Oh, I like that anti-slip mat - will keep that in mind in case I need it.

We had the same problem with smoke drift at our apartments. The smokers were very conspicuous on their balconies because of the layout of the complex. Building management got on to the problem and the smokers have retreated indoors, but I can't imagine what it must be like to live next door to them: the smoke has to go somewhere. Hope things are looking up for you ❤💜🧡💛💚💙
Lilibet, I am so sorry that you are experiencing smoke odours in your apartment 😢 Personally, I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke! It seeps into everything and is so awful. I wish I could send you a photo but, years ago, I purchased a door seal from Bunnings (not sure if they're still available) that had a thick cylindrical 'soft' odour/draft stopper attached. You must purposely mount it to the back of your door, low enough so that the cylinder drags on the floor as you open/close it. It's amazing! We've had it for years and it is still functioning perfectly! Good luck with everything ❤ PS Love the song at the end 🤗
@@teawithlilibet I forgot to mention that the cylinder rolls along the ground whenever you open and close the door. The cylinder is covered with a soft fabric that's quite sturdy. Good luck 🤞

The air purifier will work wonders, but l think I might work better standing on the corner of your kitchen table close to or where the orchid stand where it could also clean odeurs from cooking. That would also give you better use of your eating area. Or you could put on your piano stool or next to your tv, where it can clean air from the hallway outside your apartment, kitchen area, or cigarette smoke coming from the balcony? The air purifier doesn't necessarily work best when standing on the floor.😉

Do you use your crepe pan for anything other than crepes? I want to put mine to good use. Also do you have vents coming into your apartment from the other floors maybe you could clean them out or put filters in them or block them
HI Alli, yes I also use the pan for cooking eggs and grilled sandwiches. I asked the building manager about smoke from other floors and he said the smoker had to be on my floor. Thanks for watching! 😍

Last time our dishwasher did that it was the pump. On my model it was very expensive to fix, so a new dishwasher it was.
