Well, the girl probably set the guy up because he's done it before and there's speculation but couldn't prove it. If he was actually loyal and loved her, he wouldn't succumb to any temptation. For me, I trust my husband 100 percent. Never had an issue. My ex though, never set him up, but random chick's who told me about him did. So she probably has had a history of him cheating. Thats probably why she did. That trust was already broken and she wanted to see if he actually changed (like they all say they would) before wasting more of her time. So it's a tough one on that.
