I can't believe 6 years have passed since I recorded this lesson with my student Francesco Carrer. Many people don't know this, but this video was never supposed to go on TH-cam, I just recorded it as I did every student back then, to analyze my teaching habits and see how I could improve as a vocal coach. But after watching this video over and over every night before going to bed, I thought, "What the heck. Let's post it on TH-cam because it's so cute, and maybe it will make someone smile."
And that is how it all began, from one short lesson recorded on my cellphone to teaching the world to sing through my videos and lessons!
Thank you to my student Francesco, who will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, and all of my students since then who have taught me what it means to believe and dream all over again.
It's the 4th anniversary of The Cheryl Porter Vocal Method, and I'm so grateful and blessed to have you all in my life!

masterful, I was sitting on my front porch listening to this video this morning. it was very quiet in the neighborhood. when he got to the end there where he started to give it his all. every single one the dogs in my neighborhood including my own started to bark. it was a beautiful moment so even dog approved. loved it
