Sometimes it is, but not all the time. It is how you respond that shows envy. When you attack, or say malicious things, usually shows a person's insecurities. Not being a fan of a particular song or loving how someone sings the song is another thing. Nevertheless, I believe the young girl is off to a good start. Lastly,
you can dislike something someone is doing and still be proud of their efforts.
