Great job as always Elin!👍 Something I do when running multiple wires is to make a copy of the wiring diagram, and check off each wire on it, as I run/terminate that wire. That way it’s easier to spot a wire I either forgot to run or forgot to connect (as I always do 😵💫).
Great job Elin.. Some of it was a bit of a head scratcher but It'll make that lovely 1960 TR3A much safer and more reliable with the extra fuses and relays.
Interesting videos. My one observation is that the headlamps , although relayed still aren't fused, though the sidelamps are under the new scheme. If the owner wants the h/lamps fused you'll have to fit 4 fuses, one for each filament. If only a dip and main fuses are introduced, if the fuse blows, both lamps go out! Not a good idea.
What a headache ! .....If you run your finger(s) on the backside of the dash, just to the left of the glovebox, you 'should find a hole on the metal (under the dash cover) for a switch/cable....The same is true around the heater rheostat switch , there you'll find a hole(s) through the metal for auxiliary switches , so there's no need to jury rig switches out of sight/touch under the dash.....If you have a TR3 dash panel among your parts , you can double check for 'factory' holes for either switches or cables ......Just makes for a cleaner installation.....John (west coast, Can.)
Have you driven a TR3? What would be the point? I drive these cars because they don't have that overcomplicated crap! Maybe you can add an automatic trans axle and convert it to front wheel drive too.
Wiring is always a challenge. That is such a lovely car, it deserves not to go up in flames. Glad to see you're taking care of that. I can't always follow the reasoning, but that is just a product of my age. 🥸
Electrical is a dark art to me…thanks for making it at least a little clearer. Maybe the owner should provide some LEDS and a third brake light to improve safety while being followed…
Kudos to Elin, He makes it look easy, but I’ve been in the middle of that frustrating spaghetti.!
Like I said in part one, you are a brave man. Great work Elin!
You make a complex spaghetti look so easy peasy 😊
Wow that's a lot of work and I'm glad you got it all covered because I don't think I would have made all that understandable to anyone !

Sparky sparky !

I can’t even imagine another shop that would even take on this job and how much it would even cost that is a nightmare.
Just as well you split the videos into separate bits as my wife would wonder where I was 😄😄
I would have used the old Overdrive switch for the Hazard lights !

That is the explanation in the manual too - you don't want your lights to go off while driving on a dark curvy road in the mountains....
@@RustyBeautiesYes headlights aren’t fused.
Elin, you have a future (OK, maybe a short future) in bomb disposal.

My head hurts

Is the Powerblock full? or is there room for future retrofits? For instance Toyota Prius Electric Power steering or, Electric Air Conditioner?

It’s a 1960 TR3A.
@@TR3A that what I told him 😉
First 😉 All that spaghetti is making me hungry…
