It’s crazy how we take our own country for granted, some of these places you shown us is pretty much my backyard and yet I haven’t seen, thanks for sharing your experience in Australia ❤
Nice video Marissa. I loved the Daintree area and camped there for 2 weeks at a time when I had the opportunity. Particularly loved the wildlife like the green tree snakes and Cassowary, did you see any ? and the Ulysses blue butterfly. When camped near the beach was able to catch mudcrabs, delicious. Luckily didn't see any crocodiles but a few sharks. Glad you're getting out to many of the interesting parts of Oz.
I,m now in my 60s and that America album was the first album that I ever bought after I started working. Somehow on the way home I managed to drop it and the vinyl record slipped out of its cover and got scratched but only on one track which just happened to be on A Horse With No Name - wasnt happy. Saw them play live here in Newcastle many years later at the old Newcastle Workers Club just before it fell down in an earthquake. There seems to be a common thread here and I think its called jinxed I still love their music though.
Do you think it's smart to do your 88 right when you get to Australia I'm going in November which I heard is a good time because it's tourist season and it'ts easier to get jobs around that time.
I think it is smart yes as you do not have to do all of it in one place so it doesn’t hurt getting time in! However, I don’t think it’s necessary depending on your priority of experiences. I left it for my last 6 months which was ok but risky

"A Horse with No Name" America 1971. That’s still a track for on the road in 2024!
You know it!

The Australian Summer (Dec-Feb) is not the best time to visit the Far North or the Top End because most of the beaches are closed
What's 88 right?
I don't see part 1 but part two are there twice
