How lovely to see your beautiful crafty projects, and thank you for sharing the Liberty baubles - it's impossible to throw even the tiniest scrap of Tana Lawn away!! Also love your hexagon blanket and festive woolly pully xxx
Sandra the baubles are gorgeous, I'm planning to make some with my granddaughter, love the sweet dreams blanket and the cardigan is going to be lovely cant wait to see it xx
So good to hear from you and to see all your beautiful projects. I love your sweater also. To bad the pattern designer doesn’t provide it in various languages. I’m not as adventurous as you are. I wish the best to your daughter on her college journey! Have a great week!! 😊
Oh my goodness Sandra! Your hexagon blanket is simply stunning. I am constantly amazed at the amount of crochet you manage to complete. The white motifs are beautiful as well. Years ago, when I was a teen, I made some similar baubles to yours but I coated them with a very thin layer of wax and buffed them to a shine. They survived four decades until they were somehow stored in a hot place and they all melted! Your idea with the decoupage is much better.😁 I am looking forward to seeing the progress on your snowflake cardigan. And of course I wouldn't miss your Christmas podcast💗
Aww thanks so much! I'm doing lots of craft at the moment I think to compensate for having my girl nearby, it gives me something to keep busy with. ;) Oh the wax baubles sound absolutely lovely though and they lasted so so long. A big shame about the melting incident!! ❤️
I am re-watching. My grandson kept talking to me and distracting me. I am so sorry about your illness. But, so glad that you are better. Love all that you are working on. I would love to do a sweater like that. Maybe someday. Continue to heal. Can't wait to see you again.❤
Lovely podcast as always. The hexies are gorgeous and now added to my to make list. Good luck with your Christmas cardigan, looking forward to seeing how it turns out. 😊
Hi Sandra, it is lovely to see you. It is wonderful you recovered from Covid so quickly. . I’m so glad that your daughter is doing great at school. It is such a blessing when our children are happy and doing well. I am so excited about your hexagon flower blanket. It is beautiful❣️ I think it’s one of your prettiest blankets I’ve ever seen. It’s going to be a family treasure for sure. I hope you have a wonderful week.❤
Beautiful creations as always. The small flower hexagon blanket is to die for. I loved the honeycomb effect on the ‘wrong’ side…..I would have that as my ‘right’ side as it is so delicious. All of your work is totally sublime.
Hi Sandra. Your projects are all beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how your Christmas cardigan turns out. It looks amazing already. Glad your daughter is doing well.
Oh my goodness, I love the blanket that you are working on. That is a lot of work! I have considered making the hexagon blanket. I did work up one of the motifs. I had no idea how big they were. The cardigan that you are working on is going to be so pretty. I have thought about making one several years ago. Of course, I talked myself out of it. I thought that it would be too much for me. I just love your videos. So happy to see you again. Take care.❤
Hello Sandra! Lovely to see you! Bit late to the podcast, as it was my daughter's 25th birthday yesterday..big night of dinner and celebration at home, phew! The mother daughter relationship is so very special...and it's good to hear your daughter's starting her college away from home went well, although it takes getting used to the change.❤️ All your projects are equal highlights for me!! So much happening! Your Christmas cardigan is going to be super gorgeous, wish i knew how to knit in the round. Sending best wishes to you and your family, Lin.x🇦🇺
Oh how lovely. Happy birthday to your daughter! Yes it’s definitely strange not to have her here, a big adjustment! Thanks so much for the kind words! ☺️❤️
I love it all but especially that sweater. I'm so impressed with how you can adapt a pattern and in the end, have a beautiful item. I am unable to really knit a sweater that I like because 1) it never fits right, 2) I am terrible at math and making adaptions and 3) it's just too much knitting. I like sticking with crochet blankets that are fast, easy and the size doesn't much matter. 😅 I will live vicariously through your sweater knitting! ☺
The honeycomb back blanket, reminds me of my Grandmothers blanket she made years ago. I used it for years, but when I moved and had to put it storage for a few months, a cat or some animal got in, and nested in it and it smelled horrible. I couldn’t get the smell out, so I ended up throwing it out. Broke my heart . I don’t think I have the patience to make it again. Your handiwork is absolutely stunning. 🧶💫 first time here .
Beautiful projects Sandra. Love your Hexie blanket. I am actually in the process of making one myself and I also love how the back looks :) Your snowflake cardigan looks amazing! I would love to make one but feel a bit overwhelmed by the translation of French to English.
Watching this with a fresh cup of tea while it rains outside is so cosy ❤ Your cardigan looks so pretty! I love the colours you chose for it :) Can't wait to see it complete!
😍😍😍💕💕💕 oh my goodness! I have NO idea how you do it all, but all of your many projects are absolutely stunning. Every single one made me gasp out loud. 😂 That cardigan is going to be so special - I can’t wait to see the finished product. ❤
Could you make a tutorial for joining circles please? 🙏🏻 ❤️ I love the look of your flower blanket! I have a lot of sock yarn leftovers and I want going to use them make a flower lap blanket for myself. I watched your modular join tutorial but I would like to see how you actually joined the little hexagons. When I try, it shows too much on the right side.
Ohh my😊. So much beauty and coziness and imagination- I am drooling! The hexagon pixie floral blanket is scrumptious, and I actually like the amount of white in it. I may have to try your Liberty bauble idea. That Christmas cardigan is to die for. Can’t wait to see it. Take care.
Lovely to see you and catch up on your lovely makes. I particularly love your hexagonal flower blanket, it is so pretty. Would definitely buy the pattern if you write one!
Lovely to see you, Sandra 😊 The blankets are just beautiful...those hexies! 😍 And I am now inspired to make baubles with my own Liberty scraps! (And possibly purchase some more Liberty fabric 😁)
Your flowers are astonishing but you have channeled your emotions into your crochet and it is astonishing! We are certainly benefiting from the creative “vibe” coming off you these days!
I am always amazed by your beautiful projects, and this episode is full of them! I look forward to seeing them progress and see them completed! I am always in awe of your crafting talent!!❤
I have always loved the projects that you have done. I completed a Battenberg cotton bedspread after watching the blanket that you made. Now looking at the three crochet projects that you have shown here, I must say they are absolutely stunning. The white squares look so intricate & delicate. Do you ever do tutorials of your work? Your crochet & knitting projects are always different & turn out so lovely & you always seem to chose difficult ones. You are very clever & I love seeing all the things that you have made. The Christmas baubles are so gorgeous anyone would love to have them on their Christmas tree. Cheers 💕😊👏🥰❤️😍
Aww thank you ever so much! Yes I do always seem to make things difficult, often more difficult than they need to be I can't help but think! Not sure why that seems to attract me. But yes I do have many patterns and tutorials. Most listed on my website and I have some crochet tutorials here on You Tube too! ❤️
Hello Sandra. Sorry you’ve not been well. Good to hear that your daughter has settled into university life. You can have lots of gossipy fun at Christmas when she comes home. Yes - we seem to have forgotten all about COVID but it seems to still be lurking about. Love your new blanket pattern and can’t wait for it to come out. I’ve just purchased an off white sofa (! Madness I know!). Mollie will probably use it as a giant scratching post. 🐈 so that colour and pattern will go perfectly. The Leaves and Lace one is beautiful too. Didn’t Sam make one too? I think I remember from her vlogging days. I have the book so will take a look as have loads of cotton stash. Hope she’s coming back for a Christmas Special? The baubles are beautiful. You always astound me with your talent and imagination. Hoping to go to the Liberty store for my 60th! Birthday. Have you ever been there? Even though I’m from London I never actually went to Liberty’s as wasn’t into fabric and craft back then. Peter Jones was my local department store. Must watch the bauble episode again as may have a go at them. Husband will love them I think. Yes - Betsy is my favourite too. You’d probably enjoy Pilates too. The cardigan is going to go viral I think. Beyond my knitting skills as never made a garment (still). Loved your knitting swatch and think I’ll have a go at that for a scarf. Practise colourwork. Lovely podcast. Lesley x
Yes I've heard of quite a few people with covid lately. I guess now we are back to normal it is free to roam as it chooses. I didn't actually think of it until someone else mentioned it and I thought... humm maybe I will test! Anyway, good luck with the white sofa! I know exactly what you mean, it's bound to attract Mollie, they have a sixth sense for our most precious things I think! 😂 Also you are quite right, Sam did make the Leaves and Lace blanket and that's where I got the idea. I didn't fancy something with lots of colour changes and then remembered the lovely motifs she made. Just the thing! I also have been to Liberty's once. Like you it wasn't really in a place to appreciate quite as fully as I would now. I think it was before my real love of the fabric took off. I must go back again one day. Living quite near to London I have no excuse really! Lovely to chat to you! ☺️❤️❤️
The little ones I’m using for the flowers do you mean? If so, here’s the link. I’m just doing two rounds. ❤️ www.cherryheartcrochet.co.uk/2014/09/solid-hexagon.html?m=1
Hi Sandra, I hope you are doing well. I really love your hexie flower blanket. I’ve been trying to make hexi flowers but I just can’t seem to get it right. Do you crochet all the colorful petals first and then attach them together with the gray or the gray first and attach the colorful petals ones to it? I was wondering if you could consider writing up a pattern and a small video. I’d be ever so happy to pay for it. Thank you so much for considering. ❤️
Hello lovely!! I hope you are well? I make the centre grey one first, then attach the colourful ones around it. Yes I’d love to write it up or do a video, or both for it at some point. Will try and make it soon! ❤️
Thanks so much! Yes I definitely do sometimes. I think that’s when it’s handy to have other crafts to turn to. I might focus on my knitting thins for a while, or do some sewing. I used to sketch and draw quite a bit so sometimes I’ll spend some time on that instead. Or I just take a break for a bit. Usually giving things some space is all it takes and then something will grab me again. ☺️❤️
Oh bless you, that’s so kind thank you! I have actually started now so I guess I’ll stick with it for now and hope for the best but I do appreciate the offer! ❤️
I’m thinking you mean the one in his basket? If so, then I used a pattern for the flower squares which were the ‘waterlilly’ square by jan Eaton. Then I mixed that with plain squares. ❤️
Ooo I can’t wait to see how the Christmas cardigan turns out. I also love to see that you are stretching and taking care of your body. It makes crafting so much easier. I actually do a podcast called Yoga for Knitters. The usual podcasty stuff and then a short practice at the end, designed to keep our bodies feeling knitworthy. Check it out :)
Thanks so much, I can’t wait in the cardigan either. Honestly my hopes are too high at the moment so I don’t know if it will live up to them! 😂. I shall definitely check out your podcast though, sounds ideal! ❤️
I think the flowers in your hexie flowers blanket are absolutely perfectly spaced, just as you have them 👌😍💞
Oh my goodness Sandra, your hexagon flower blanket is amazing 😍
Aww thank you! ❤️
I think your way with the with the hexagons made the blanket more light & cheerful. Very fit for summer
Hexi flower blanket is beautiful but joining all those together....you're a saint. I wouldn't have the patience to join them all.
Oh my goodness how fortunate that I found you. I love all your work and you so inspire me. I cannot wait to learn from you. A BIG thank you.🙏🌸🌸🌸
Oh that’s so kind, thank you! It’s lovely to have you here. ☺️❤️

Thanks so much! Yes I’m well in the mend. Just that irritating cough that lingers on now. 😏❤️
So good to hear from you and to see all your beautiful projects. I love your sweater also. To bad the pattern designer doesn’t provide it in various languages. I’m not as adventurous as you are. I wish the best to your daughter on her college journey! Have a great week!! 😊
Thanks, Luv! I have been busy hooking away on projects for upcoming seasons.
Take care and heal quickly!
Hi Sandra, I love your hexagon flower blanket and I think it looks great with that amount of white hexagons between the flowers - really fresh!
Thanks so much! Yeah I think I like it like this too. A happy accident! ❤️
I LOVE the flower hexie blanket❣️I love the way you joined them, and it makes the colorful hexagons really look like flowers. Beautiful ❤❤❤🌼🌸🌺❤️❤️❤️

Wow! The hexagon blanket is beautiful. Will you be doing a tutorial on how you made the hexagons?
I love it all but especially that sweater. I'm so impressed with how you can adapt a pattern and in the end, have a beautiful item. It’s taken me so time to be able to get knits that fit too. I’m sure there must be easier ways, I always seem to make life hard for myself! 🤣❤️
The honeycomb back blanket, reminds me of my Grandmothers blanket she made years ago. Ohh my😊. So much beauty and coziness and imagination- I am drooling! The hexagon pixie floral blanket is scrumptious, and I actually like the amount of white in it. I may have to try your Liberty bauble idea. That Christmas cardigan is to die for. Can’t wait to see it. Take care.

Love the Hexagon flower blanket, absolutely gorgeous. I want to make one ❤
I ve looked everywhere for that patrons jumper pattern
Yes it’s very tricky to find. I added the link in my show notes though so you can get it that way. ❤️
Loved it Sandra.
Thanks so much! ❤️

Aww thank you ever so much! Yes I do always seem to make things difficult, often more difficult than they need to be I can't help but think! Not sure why that seems to attract me. But yes I do have many patterns and tutorials. Most listed on my website and I have some crochet tutorials here on You Tube too! ❤️

Yes I've heard of quite a few people with covid lately. I guess now we are back to normal it is free to roam as it chooses. I didn't actually think of it until someone else mentioned it and I thought... humm maybe I will test! Anyway, good luck with the white sofa! Could you not use a ball of the cream at each end of the row toand carry it up? Any excuse for e not to have ends to weave in 😊
Hi Sandra can you please tell how did you start your little hexagons please, magic loop,?? 12 single crochet then I am stuck I love it so much!:)
The little ones I’m using for the flowers do you mean? If so, here’s the link. I’m just doing two rounds. ❤️

You are always so kind. Thank you so much❣️
Your projects are lovely. Do you ever fall in to crochet funk? If so how do overcome it?
Thanks so much! Yes I definitely do sometimes. I think that’s when it’s handy to have other crafts to turn to. I might focus on my knitting thins for a while, or do some sewing. I used to sketch and draw quite a bit so sometimes I’ll spend some time on that instead. Or I just take a break for a bit. If you haven’t started your Xmas sweater yet, I can translate it for you .
Oh bless you, that’s so kind thank you! I have actually started now so I guess I’ll stick with it for now and hope for the best but I do appreciate the offer! ❤️
Hi Sandra, I was wondering did you make your dachshund blanket and if so what would the name of the pattern be? Thankyou for your lovely videos.

Is it possible to have a link for the snowflake cardigan please? Thank you!
Yes I managed to find it again. It’s in my show notes. ❤️
Thank you. Sorry I didn't see it there x
Please how did you put strings in your xmas balls?
That’s just how they came!
@@CherryHeart thanks
Where can I get the leaves and lace blanket pattern I tried ravely but is not there can you please tell me where I can purchase thank you 😊
I have a book with it in. Can’t remember the name. Mandalas to crochet possibly. Probably ask the designer for more info.
Thank you
I know patience is a virtue, but I think you have gone overboard in that area!
