Let me give clear explanation. Actually around 90+% clients in IT are out of India and they speak different languages. So we keep English as standard so as to make clients as well as us to communicate easily. Other than this english is not mandatory. You can learn coding in Hindi as well as you can communicate with IT friends in Hindi.

The biggest problem as u have identified is judging people when they speak butler English (tuti futi english). If people can avoid judging I think many of us can speak a much more better english. But this is the sad reality of our country. The main motive of the language is to convey the info but they will check ur grammar. 🙂🤘
This is the biggest problem of India, 50% of India's IT students are not able to enter the IT sector, just because they do not know English, but they have more skills than English speakers. And this country can never be ahead of China, Germany, Japan because English is not a barrier for any job there. These coutries focus on skills + native language only.
