I met Larry Hagman when I was a little boy in 1986 with my late Mum, when he arrived at our local hospital via helicopter in Ireland. He was so lovely, I was waving at him & he asked me to come over. He asked me my name & said it’s a pleasure to be in Ireland. He even put his cowboy hat on me! He made me feel so special, such a kind man. He patted me on my head & said it was a pleasure to meet me. Such an icon of television!!!!

Can’t overstate how much of a hit Dallas was in the UK. I can vividly recall my Mum taking about it with our neighbour the morning after each episode while we were waiting to catch the school bus.
