Hisagi is a brave and thoughtful Shinigami. His actions throughout CFYOW be it preventing Kenpachi and Hikone from fighting, to getting to the truth of the Spirit King and putting himself in danger of memory wiping or worse from Yoruichi is what sets his own legacy. Also liked how he advocated for Hikone who is now leading a peaceful life instead of being a madman's weapon.
I’d love to see a hisagi and hikone buddy cop story now that they’re free from tokinada (love to see Hikone and ichigo interact with how much he can relate to them)
CFYOW not only gives us more of hisagi but gives us more information on tosen he's a great character and deserves more love in the community
For a great character Tosen was short lived. We didn't really know what the guy was all about before his death. It's more the teaching he gave Hisagi that made him take action. Still Hisagi wouldn't agree on what Tosen has done.
In some ways Hisagi used Tosen as an exuse for his sense of justice.
It's like Urahara said, if Hisagi would pry too deep into Soul society history, he might find things he doesn't like.

Hisagi is a loyal and dedicated Shinigami who is always willing to put the needs of others before his own. He is also a skilled swordsman and a powerful fighter. Hisagi's Bankai is one of the most unique and powerful in Bleach, but it also comes with great risks.
Tosen is a blind swordsman who is guided by his sense of justice. He is a powerful fighter and a skilled strategist. Tosen's Bankai is one of the most dangerous in Bleach, as it can paralyze and even kill opponents.
CFYOW gives us more insight into the backstories and motivations of Hisagi and Tosen. We learn more about Hisagi's self-destructive tendencies and Tosen's unwavering sense of justice. We also learn more about their relationship with each other and their shared respect for one another.
I think CFYOW is a must-read for any Bleach fan who wants to learn more about Hisagi and Tosen. They are two of the most well-developed and fascinating characters in the series.
I hope that CFYOW will one day be adapted into an anime series. It would be a great way to introduce these characters to a wider audience.

The unbeatable combo that would never happen is. Hisagi's bankai attacking an opponent with his bankai trapping them, then yumichika's true shikai attacking as support giving reishi to hisagi and and himself.
In theory it's unbeatable.
It's all good until they kill Aizen and then they hear: "Since when were you under the impression that you were fighting me?"
Until ichigo comes in with a gran Rey getsuga. Or shunsui with his bankai. Or Yama with his bankai. Or aizen with the space bending kurohitsugi, etc. Would be a very op combo, though.
Small issue is that it links hisagis energy with his enemy and balancing it out. So you'll just end up helping the enemy that way.

Yes, the combination of Hisagi's bankai and Yumichika's true shikai would be unbeatable in theory. Hisagi's bankai would trap the opponent, making them unable to move. Yumichika's true shikai would then attack the opponent, while also giving reishi to Hisagi and himself. This would allow Hisagi to continue using his bankai for a longer period of time, and it would also make them both much stronger.
However, there are a few reasons why this combo would never happen in reality.
First, Hisagi and Yumichika are not always on the same team. They are both Shinigami, but they belong to different divisions. This means that they would not always be fighting alongside each other.
Second, Hisagi and Yumichika's abilities are not perfectly compatible. Hisagi's bankai is designed to trap opponents, while Yumichika's true shikai is designed to attack them. This means that it would be difficult for them to coordinate their attacks effectively.
Third, Hisagi and Yumichika would need to be very close to each other in order to use this combo effectively. This would make them both vulnerable to attack.
Despite these challenges, the combination of Hisagi's bankai and Yumichika's true shikai would be incredibly powerful. It is a shame that we will never get to see it in action.

Note: No matter how it is implemented, the combination of Hisagi's bankai and Yumichika's true shikai would be an unforgettable sight.

Hisagi’s Bankai is a special one. The power to stalemate nearly anyone, yet leaves you vulnerable without the aid of allies. The way Hisagi is able to reach a true understanding of himself, thus unlocking his true power, is a great illustration of the message of self-acceptance within Bleach.
Would be great to see a video in Ginjo and his story in CFYOW!
But what if he uses his bankai on a teammate? In that case both of them will be able to work together and take care of the enemies. 🤔
Hisagi is a good example of what lengths Shinigami have to go through to achieve Bankai.
Some like Ichigo, Renji and Toshiro use a halfbaked Bankai and others like Zaraki who refused to listen to its name for centuries. Again others like squad 0 who purposely seal their Bankai.
It only goes to show that each character who achives Bankai is unique in his/her own right.
Nozarashi didn't refused tho he made himself incapable of hearing
and his Bankai is even much more half baked than Ichigo's or Renji's Bankais

lol, Hisagi is a great example of the lengths that Shinigami have to go through to achieve Bankai. It is a difficult and dangerous process, and not all Shinigami are able to achieve it.
Some Shinigami, like Ichigo, Renji, and Toshiro, are able to achieve Bankai quickly, but their Bankai are not yet fully mature. This means that they are not as powerful or as stable as the Bankai of Shinigami who have had more time to train and develop their Bankai.
Other Shinigami, like Kenpachi Zaraki, refuse to listen to the name of their Bankai for centuries. This prevents them from fully mastering their Bankai, but it also makes their Bankai more unique and powerful.

I agree that if Toshiro would have been training in Reiōkyū with Ichigo and the others, he would have been able to defeat Bazz-B and Giselle without having to resort to Hollowfication.

While Hollowfication was cool and all, it wasn't enough to protect himself and his lieutenant. In fact, it nearly cost him his life.
I think it's a shame that Toshiro didn't get to train in Reiōkyū with Ichigo and the others. He's a very talented and powerful Shinigami, and I think he would have benefited greatly from the training.
However, I understand why Kubo made the decision he did. He needed to give Toshiro a challenge to overcome, and he needed to show that Toshiro was willing to do whatever it took to protect his friends.
Note: I'm curious to see how Toshiro continues to develop as a character in the future. He's one of my favorite Shinigami, and I'm excited to see what he accomplishes next.@@Grayson-Winchester
Let’s not forget guys cfyow hisagi just achieved ban Kai which means he had room to grow from that and the end of bleach.

Hisagi’s shikai has a “kaze” similar to Kensei’s blade, but his Bankai is an inconvenience just like Tosen’s.
Tosen's bankai has the ability to stripped away all four sense except touch and it is a perfect counter to Kyoka Suigetsu's Complete Hypnosis.
well, it is true that Hisagi's Shikai, Kazeshini, has a similar "kaze" to Kensei's blade, Tachikaze. Both blades are long, slender katanas with wind-based abilities. However, there are also some key differences between the two blades.
Kazeshini's ability is to release a powerful blast of wind that can cut through anything. Tachikaze's ability, on the other hand, is to create a powerful vortex of wind that can trap and damage opponents.
In addition, Kazeshini is a much more versatile blade than Tachikaze. Kazeshini can be used to attack opponents from a distance, while Tachikaze is more suited for close-quarters combat.
Hisagi's Bankai, Kazeshini Shibo Nawa, is indeed an inconvenience, just like Tosen's Bankai, Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Korogi. Both Bankai abilities have the potential to harm their users as well as their opponents.
Hisagi's Bankai traps both the user and the opponent in a powerful vortex of wind. The vortex gradually closes in on the user and the opponent, crushing them both. If the user is not careful, they can easily be killed by their own Bankai.
Tosen's Bankai creates a powerful sound wave that can paralyze and even kill opponents. However, the sound wave can also harm the user if they are too close to it.
Despite the risks associated with their Bankai abilities, Hisagi and Tosen are both skilled and experienced Shinigami who are able to use their Bankai effectively. Both Bankai abilities are incredibly powerful and can be used to defeat even the strongest opponents.

I really hope CFYOW gets adapted and animated. I love how so many people react to Hisagi’s Bankai and recognize his strength. It really is one of my favorite Bankai both in ability and in how it represents and portrays how Bankai work in the world of Bleach.
Indeed. It's too important to be left out, be it with character abilities or the grand picture involving the Spirit King and how the worlds came to be alongside Soul Society's sinister politics.
I agree, it would be amazing to see Can't Fear Your Own World (CFYOW) adapted and animated. It is a great story with a lot of interesting characters and concepts. I would be particularly interested in seeing Hisagi's Bankai animated. It is a very unique and powerful ability, and I think it would look great on screen.
I also like how CFYOW portrays how Bankai work in the world of Bleach. Bankai are supposed to be the ultimate manifestation of a Shinigami's power, but they also come with great risks. Hisagi's Bankai is a perfect example of this. It is incredibly powerful, but it is also very dangerous to use.
Note: I think it is important to show that Bankai are not simply power-ups. They are also reflections of the Shinigami's inner selves. Hisagi's Bankai is a reflection of his own self-destructive tendencies. It is a powerful ability, but it is also a dangerous one.

Hisagi and Kira were and still are my favorite lieutenants and I'm glad they decided to give Hisagi a bankai (I hope the other lts get theirs too in the coming hell arc).

As much as Hisagi is one of my favorite characters I can see why he didn't get a more prominent role than he did. He fits exactly into the parts he was written for. Earlier on when he was introduced i really wanted him to have more of a foil type role to ichigo. Coming to terms with death, the purpose of soul society and the harsh truths of it. But many characters filled that part in addition to helping ichigo learn about himself along the way. Honestly i think I'm satisfied with where Hisagi ended up story wise for the most part.
Did he say he disliked Kazeshini? Or did he just say he disliked Kazeshini's shape? "Because it looks like it was made to reap life itself?" or thereabouts. Because the trash-talk was amazing and stuck in my memory.
If I remember he says both. At first he says he doesn't like kazeshini and his opponent ask him why then shuhei pointed out that he didn't like the shape of it.
The greatest weakness of this bankai is that kenpachi wants to use it for training all the time after its reveal x)

that is why Ichigo's power is stagnated throughout the majority of Bleach up until a thousand years blood wars arc. because he didn't had his true Zanpakuto, he's reject Zangetsu over and over again and quickly accepted the quincy manifestation within him as Zangetsu, this is why he is Stagnated up until he learnt the truth of the death of his mother Masaki Kurosaki and the nature of the Quincy Manifestation within and eventually learn that White Ichigo is the true Zangetsu and that is why he come to accepted all of this and finally acknowledged "The Blade is Me".

I find it ironic that he hates the scythe shape even though they’re basically grim reapers. Then again, you probably wouldn’t want it encouraged any stereotypes, like “murder isn’t the only thing what my character’s all about”.
Indeed. It's also ironic considering what Shinigami in general do to those who develop spiritual abilities outside their reach and they find out but again, not all Shinigami are alike even with orders from the top.
well my theory is that after kensei saved him, he became a hero to shuhei and wanted to be the ideal shinigami to see him again. He got the 69 tattoo, was top of his class, good at everything but not the best in anything. And a part of becoming the ideal shinigami is to wield the scythe. But it's also ironic how shinigami's are supposed to keep the balance and flow of the universe yet the "ideal shinigami" has a bankai that does the direct opposite of what there are meant to do.
@@ethanleongsem7582 Well, they maintain balance by securing the flow of life and death. I guess the misconception is that they don’t reap lives directly since people will still die without them.

Hisagi has better Talk No Jutsu than Naruto; Hes going to solo the Narutoverse.
The only thing he is missing is an Execute ability. Something that does massive damage to someone who is already near death just like kindred in league of legends. Her ultimate ability is to negate death of everybody inside of her circle but when it ends everybody recdisease 10% health regeneration. Kindred can easily win 1 of 1's because she has an executability which does a lot of damage the clothes are someone else to death.
"The infinite reishi surging within Hisagi's body causes the chains of Kazeshini to automatically heal all his wounds, no matter how severe. In other words, for the duration of 4 minutes and 11 seconds after activation, Hisagi is effectively immortal."
So hisagi cannot land a death blow of his opponent.. I think he would be effective in squad 2,capturing people alive to be tortured by others😅
There are lots of character in bleach but he was one of those people that gave a mark in my memory.
I think he can achieve true bankai, because the fact that he feared killing or getting kill is portrayed as the show called torture if he decides to become a madman think about it.
man i really hope that we'll get all of the LN stuff animated but i think this will only happen after the Hell arc either started or finished can't really imagine that it will happen right after the TYBW part of the anime ended

Wrong analogies. Yumichika and Matsumoto being narcissistic and lazy doesn't translate to them not being able to attain Bankai. The current Captain Commander, Kyoraku's history is laid bare for us all. He was lazy, headstrong and a good-for-nothing, always , and his Bankai is one of the most dangerous, indiscriminate ones.
I think it's interesting how Hisagi and Ichigo are related and both have powers that connect to that of a "true shinigami"
I really want to see the original Shiba. Honestly, Kubo could make a whole other series about the past Gotei 13 and it would most likely be epic. I hope we see more of Hisagi next cour. Even if it's a little more. He's gotten beat up so much, but he's always been one of my favorite characters and he's kinda an underdog honestly. I need to see him win!🎉

Such a cool Bankai! I think that there's some cool situations this could be used in, imagine him using it against an opponent like Gerald Valkyrie. Shame that Kubo didn't get a chance to put it into the manga, but awesome we got to see it in the light novel.
Side Note: Its name is just Fushi No Kōjyō. Similar to how Suzemebachi becomes Jakuhō in Jakuhō Raikōben, Kazeshini becomes Fushi because it uses a different reading of the Kanji

He can defeat anyone with that Bankai, he just commits suicide and the opponent dies because they share the Reiatsu, or he stalemates them for long enough
The big perk with Hisagi's bankai is that if his spiritual energy is significantly lower then his opponents, itll take spiritual energy from his opponent a lot more since the Bankai pools the spiritual energy from both entirely.
It's the true ideal of sacrifice to take the enemy with them. Which fits Hisagi to a Tee.

The best use for Hisagi's bankai is in healing . If an ally is badly wounded, Hisagi's bankai can heal that ally at the cost of their spirit energy.
I had always thought that when ichigo was fighting white to be able to control the mask, and had flashes of fighting other people, he fought kenny in his inner world. If it isn't an anime only scene. It looked similar to ichigo's inner world but with soul society buildings instead of the skyscrapers, completely demolished signifying his nonexistant relationship with his zanpakuto.

Hisagi power's are similar to the sinners of hells from the movie 4 hellverse it might be related to hell like chains of hell cause hell existed even before the bleach world so that may be the reason for absurdity of his bankai 😂😂😂

1.25x Speed is ok, tip: 10 min are enough, 15min in case of huge content, more than 15 min it becomes a math lesson.
This Bandai sounds quite a bit like Yumachiks flower that drains the Reatsu until they die.
I have what I would think is an obvious loophole to his bankai. In the soul society arc they introduced a candy the medical corps uses to give them energy and in ichigos training with the vizards, they put him on a treadmill, using his ability to continue to run as a measure of his spiritual pressure, both creating a link between spirit pressure and endurance. The science department already has a way hisagi can boost his time in bankai, outlasting his opponent. They also went out of their way to create an eyepatch, especially for kenpachi, which means they could do the same with a specialized candy for hisagi.
Maybe he could still win by improving his stamina maybe? If there is truly no allies nearby for him or his opponent then it just matters who can wake up first from the pass out pain of losing life & reishi etc. He wakes up & goes stabby stab the still knocked out enemy right?

I thought Yumichika 1.) used Bankai in the fake Karakura town arc and 2.) only used part of its power due to not calling it by the correct name, on purpose
I think his bankai should be a fight of who has the most sp. When you get hurt, the sp used to heal you would only be yours and who ever runs out first is the loser. The downside would be you are chained to this ball and can't completely fight at your best.
You mean that they don't share their sp but can only use their own to heal each other? If it is then that would kind of go against the whole point of the bankai. His bankai was designed to stalemate a fight and not kill those caught inside of it. I think this fits shuhei's personality very well because he hates killing so his bankai allows him to stalemate a fight no matter how strong his opponent is.

The reality is hisagi against a stronger opponent would mean his power is to torture himself to bide time. Aizen against him would mean hisagi would just up going insane being killed over and over again until aizen ran out of power or someone stopped the fight.

15:28 I wonder how the Almighty would work with Kazeshini Fushi no Kōjyō's ability 🤔. The Almighty is immune to any ability it knows about (that isn't of Hollow origin), so I don't think that Kazeshini's immortality would work against him 🤷♂️.

I haven’t read through the novels (I do have them but haven’t opened them but do the novel contradict the last chapter (before the hell arc) where Rangiku, Toshiro and Kensei claimed to never seen Hisagi Bankai (and don’t believe he actually have it)?

16:05 Other weakness - it can be stolen, making it impossible to stalemate opponents who are capable of that - like Quincies. And even if sword was hollofied like they did against Sternritters - there are always some people who could still utilise such techniques. I mean I would expect people like Mayuri or maybe even Szayel - copy Quincy techniques and not be limited by the lack of immunity against Hollow reiatsu.
i dunno, is it established that they can do something like that to bankai? and even if they copy it- what's the point? i don't think it matters who uses the bankai, it still would work the same, exept for probably controlling the chains

@@mjm3091 i meant Mayuri and Szayel, and wouldn't the seal still be countered by hollowfication? Otherwise why not just send arrankars with seals during tybw? And I thought the arrankar guy was turned into a quincy, considering he used quincy attacks and was offended by being called an arrankar?
@@ageychikdaniil6886 He still was an Arrancar. They didn't use more of them, because Yhwach considered it unnecessary. Stealing of the bankais was only done to quickly take control of the Soul Society and limit casualties on Sternritter side. It was only really needed for swift defeat of Yamamoto - other than that Vollstandig was assumed to be enough to clear anyone in Gotei 13 (probably would have happened, if Yhwach's goal wasn't Soul King Palace - if he focused his energy in the actual Soul Society, they probably wouldn't be able to defeat him - especially as some of the highest level Sternritters only lost due to final Auswahlen).
Mayuri has shown to be using a lot of unorthodox methods before. Szayel probably could also do it, if he cared, especially with the Hell Butterfly surveillance, he probably knew a lot about what happened. Urahara also has used Quincy arrows before (specifically to make serums for Masaki and the Vizards).
Seal was only countered through hollowification, because Quincy lack Hollow antibodies - the bankai hurt them. This wouldn't be the case for anyone else.

Momo’s Zanpakuto concept is interesting. It’s all about that Flying Plum Tree story. Notice how Tobiume has branches on the sword. We can theorize that the branches are caused by her happiness in a life-changing event that happened at some point in her life.
We can assume the first branch was when she graduated in the Shino Academy, the 2nd one with her being appointed as Aizen’s lieutenant, and the 3rd one (in TYBW) sprouted because of Aizen’s defeat. After the TYBW, who knows, maybe the 4th branch sprouted already, symbolizing Yhwach’s defeat. Perhaps she already unlocked the 5th and final (6th) branches after the 10-year timeskip? Idk, maybe just 1 more branch before the final one. But I would assume that another branch sprouted because she achieved Bankai. If she did get all branches already after the timeskip, the only other thing that I know that would make Momo happy is if she and Toshiro ended up being together- which is all I can think of. If not, then perhaps the 10 years of peace in Soul Society is all she needs ‘cause she’s been through a lot during the past arcs.
My theory is if she gets all 6 branches unlocked, the true power of her shikai and her bankai will be revealed. I’m excited to see the might of the new Gotei 13 in the Hell Arc.

She’s another wasted potential along w/ Jushiro Rangiku and Yumichika. It was stated in season 2 that she’s a master of Kido. Imagine how powerful her Bankai could be. Imagine how like Gaara Rangiku could become?
