Alla Prima pochade box demo

I'm excited about my new Alla Prima pochade box and share with you its features. (It's not a paid endorsement, just want to share this beautifully constructed paint box with you). Also, I made an interesting discovery you might not know about.

Thanks John for the video! I’ve just ordered one for myself! Can’t wait!
I read from the FAQ page on the Alla Prima website, it mentioned how to remove the screw - “you can remove the little wood cover plate at the back of the Lite boxes, it just covers the tripod mount. One small screw holds it there”. Not sure if that may help you. Think you can also check with Ben for details. Cheers!

what kind of paper do you use for your painting?

Bernice, I use 100% rag paper, 100lb weight. I apply one coat of acrylic gesso before painting.
