From your GoogleMaps photos I can tell that during your summer trip you drove from Stuðlagil towards Möðrudalur? "Möðrudalsleið" road and F907 "Brúarvegur...? How was that? Thinking of driving that direction...
Almost! I went the opposite direction. From Möðrudalur I drove south down F905 (Arnardalsleið) to the first river crossing. I followed two Jeeps to the first river crossing, watched them cross, and decided not to attempt the crossing. Here is that video: th-cam.com/video/XaHl1VAbgn8/w-d-xo.html I turned around and then drove F910 (Austurleið) to F907 to Stuðlagil. From there I drove back up F907 to F910 and drove south towards Kárahnjúkavirkjun. Shoot me an email and I'll send you the location of two gems along that route.
Aha, you tried it all when it comes to Icelandic roads :)
No doubt about that! Winter van life in January was a totally different kind of adventure, loved it though! And learned a lot...
fffffff*ck, that looks scary... 😱 but beautiful landscape! 👍
Haha yes, at least I was still able to appreciate the sunset despite my predicament!
Yeah the view is awesome but the tires still need nails :D
Agreed! I responded more fully to your other comment on the other video.
