I remember that game, I was sleeping my daughter and I had the game on, what a game and what a shot!
I actually started watching basketball because of Curry - I had never gotten into it as a kid, but in college, Warriors games were always on at the local pub. He was just so fun to watch that I fell in love with the whole damn sport.
Omg me too . I didn’t like basketball but when I watched the warriors in 2015 it was amazing to watch, I’m a big warriors fan now .

What would be cool is a “making the case” series for the greatest defender of all time. You could include Bill Russell, Olajuwon, Mutombo, Rodman, Ben Wallace, Gary Payton maybe even Tim Duncan.
Tim Duncan is better defensively than wallace due to his longevity and consistent efforts.
That would be to hard to define, interior defenders are different from perimeter defenders. How do you compare Ben Wallace to Gary Payton or Russell to Pippen

As soon as I realized he was about to start talking about the Saturday OKC vs Warriors game, I got goosebumps.
NO ONE who saw that game live will forget where they were when Curry hit that shot. It seriously has a case as the greatest regular season game of all time, and it definitely closed the case that Steph is the GOAT 3 point shooter.
Yeah I knew it was over for the league, he was too poised when he hit that shot.
I had a noisy neighbour talking about something else in our living room and then I jumped off my couch when Curry hit that shot lol
What was crazy was, there was a play early in the game where Curry got passed Westbrook's awful defense, and Westbrook came back to block the shot but landed on Curry's ankle and Curry couldn't move. Went to lockerroom and I had been worried without CUrry, Warriors wouldn't beat OKC. Then he came back and perform elite, outshining Kevin Durant, Westbrook or Klay Thompson to get the Win. Most influential player of this generation.

My first NBA game I ever sat down and actually watched, was that game on February 27th, 2016. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with too. I remember watching Steph Curry sink in three after three, wondering "is this normal? do players normally drain in this many threes?" As that GSW vs OKC game being my first game to sit down and watch, I enjoyed every moment of it, especially that final three pointer from 35+ feet for the win. I immediately became an NBA fan, as well as a Stephen Curry fan that very day.

I'm so glad you ended with the 3 against the Thunder. I'm not a fan of either of those teams but that moment is one of the most jaw-dropping and memorable moments I've ever seen in the NBA. I can remember exactly where I was too and just being in awe. It felt like Steph was just unstoppable and he had broken the game of basketball. No one is supposed to be able to do what he was doing.

The weird feeling that when you watch a movie that the good guy always wins and it is kind of expected but in combination of realizing that this is not staged but with the same expected outcome. You realize that this dude is so good that it's unfair.
I loved watching that 2015 and 2016 GSW team, chemistry was off the charts with steph leading the way. Coming from a Lakers fan.

I’m from Kansas and a lifelong Jayhawk fan and let me tell you what every Kansas fan was thinking when we had to play Derrick Rose in the championship “we beat steph, we’ll be alright.” We we’re so scared of the 6’3’’ twerp from Davidson. I’ll never forget it.
Steph Curry *literally* changed the game. I'm lucky enough to have watched basketball from the late nineties to now. The game has changed beyond recognition in that time. Many people have contributed to that shift but nobody has even come close to the seismic impact Steph has had, he breaks the game of basketball when he is on.
I'm pretty new to basketball, but I've seen that OT 3 against OKC all over the place in vids and compilations. Never realized until now how ridiculous that actually was! Awesome video!

Damn bro.. i for real just had 22 minutes of goodebumps.. i‘m a soccer player from germany with literally no connection to basketball until 2014/15 when i watched his mvp season highlights and fell in love with his game.. ever since then i have watched every single game he‘s played in live. I live in germany so that means staying up until 5/6 am even though i had school the next day 😄 i never imagined to have such passion for anything besides friends and family. How fortunate for us the Steve Kerr decided to coach. He might be the real catalyst of change, with his knowledge of the game, his past experiences with great coaches, combined with his first-hand skill. The Warriors got me when they played the Spurs on the same season they went 73-9. I was an arrogant Spur, thinking there's only one team that could somehow finesse a win over the insane threes that Curry and co. were taking, and that's Gregg Popovich.
