point of information :At contemporary times of panipat ,1526 , while babur was using firearms in northern india against Delhi Sultanate .
In the Northeast, the Ahoms or the Sutiyas, were using gunpowder in Assam in 1527-32 . This shows how weaponry technology was propagated across East, Central and South Asia . Thus, gunpowder use has linkages between North and Northeast India .
