You are so descriptive I appreciate your style . New Subbie I agree with your thoughts on many of these candles . Lots to return by the looks of it . I picked out Apple and Charcoal and am going to try the new Blueberry and when there is a good sale I may grab the Lavender Coconut and the Coffee candle. Rose and leather is one of my favorites. I agree, the rosewood candle smells just like it without the leather. and yes, the blue lavendar is a repackage to me too.
I’m the same with Paris cafe! 😂 I love coffee too. My pumpkin peanut brittle, blueberry pumpkin patch and freshly brewed coffee gets here today. I have a lot of my other favorites from fall still from last year. My other must haves are pumpkin cinnamon roll, pumpkin bonfire, pumpkin carving. I love my pumpkin peanut brittle. 🤤 I still have my 2012 blueberry pumpkin patch! I’m so happy it came back
Many of the most purchased and hypes have disappointed me. Champagne Toast, Cactus Blossom, Strawberry Pound cake, Peach Bellini and so on. I would not repurchase any of those again. Happy you liked the MB. Can't go wrong with balsam. Love Vanilla Balsam!
Thanks for the vid! I was in a store the other day and checked out all the candles - the only ones that really spoke to me were Dark Amber and Oud, and Blue Lavender Breeze (which smells a lot like the Blue Bungalow candle that came out a few months ago). Really like the look of the naturals line too
I have 12 Paris Cafe candles! That’s how much I love it. I do also really enjoy the freshly brewed coffee and I agree that it’s not the same as for the blueberry, pumpkin patch. That thing smells awful when burning something sour that almost smells like throw up. Sorry to say that, but it’s true.
Wow 😮 that’s so funny how you say FBC smells sweet and you wish it had more of a stronger, roasted coffee note. I think the opposite as I’ve also heard many of other people say, to me I think that PC has the more of the sweeter scent, hence the brioche and the vanilla cre’me notes. Now FBC has no sweet notes whatsoever in it, which is why I get more of that straight up burnt coffee, (roasted coffee) scent. I have both candles and compared them both on a cold sniff as well as on a burn and yes you can definitely tell that they are in-fact not the same candle, as I have heard many people saying it was a repacking. FBC is a very weak scent (throw) while burning, however the infamous PC is 100% a stronger throwing scent, which is why it is 1 of my favorite all time candles, although I do have to burn it in a larger room because it is indeed a much stronger throwing candle. In the end though everyone has their own opinions as well as also having their own difference in sense of smells, that’s obviously what makes us all different from each other. Great review on a cold sniff of all the candles that you purchased, it’s always nice to hear everyone else’s opinions/reviews. Great haul, thanks for sharing!! 🙂🙏
Super interesting! Yeah I definitely don’t linger while smelling PC 😂 You’re probably right about the sweetness. I don’t know if FBC is more sweet, but I could see how it might be less, if that makes sense. I’ve also heard the strength/throw isn’t great. Haven’t burned yet myself 😉
