    The problem with town these days is it has lost its character,it's a place for tourists,students etc,the working class are being pushed away,the good old markets disappearing and old buildings being demolished to make way for new buildings which all look horrible and have no character...the old buildings all had something about them(and the ones just about still standing) shame the city has become corporate.

    When bus fare was 20p or something. Now it is £2.40

    In 1974 Bus Fare was 10p from Weoley Castle to Birmingham City Centre!

      @@theonelikesaf3679 Thank you coco. One of our cats is called Coco. I met Katie Melua not far from the Bullring, it's a long story but she told me a little about herself, where she was from and what she does. I was looking for that bus station. But she said she was not from Birmingham. I met up with her about 9 years later. She said she doesn't remember it. But she does know of Victoria Square. I heard they have taken away the fountains.
