Driving in Boston, Google Maps has an elevation problem, will drop off IN the 93 north tunnel for South Station. Also will drop off ON the Mass Pike for Boylston Street.
Only once has Google Maps crapped out on me, thank God I had just dropped off my passenger. Some of my riders will text me their exact location, store location, but most seem to just think dropping a pin will take me to their exact location. Frustrating, and the suburbs behind the shopping centers and highways are frustrating as well here on the East Coast. Thanks for the video, be safe and Uber on.
Thanks for education on Google navigation. Driving for Grubhub as a new driver, in one night the spp wouldn't show me where the customer was, but insisted on taking me back to the pickup restaurant I'd just come from. THEN on the next delivery, took me 12 miles in the wrong direction before I caught on. Embarrassing! Thinking of Waze or even getting a Garmin GPS.
I got 3 stars from a guy who didn’t put in the address right and took about 3 minutes to finally drive to his right address. Then the regular Uber navigation map took me to a weird spot he didn’t want to go to and he was pissed... I’m new and that was my first 3 star rating that brought my score dangerously low. I was being polite the whole time and apologized but I guess that wasn’t enough...

I like Google maps and also Waze. Waze is better for re routing away from accidents and traffic jams.
Damn that happens in the downtown san jose neighborhood. With them streets that there back yard is facing. Luckily most passengers i got were cool to give me a heads up on how to navigate and they use their neighbors address across ghe Street lol

How do I keep from the map app opening twice? For example....I am googling a location and I get a ping...the first map stays up even when the Uber app navigate starts...
I'm having hell delivering UberEATS inside apartment complexes. You've helped a good bit with the dead end/wall thing. I'd "arrived" at the location last week, but the apartment was on the other side of the building. How would I know that?
Could you, and I know you don't have to go directly to the door, but if you could help me understand the directional arrow (I go the wrong way frequently, after stopping en route, or starting a delivery). Also when she tells me "you've arrived" and the apartment # is nowhere in sight, will the "walk up" lead me? I've never had any luck, and the customers are absolutely NO HELP 90% of the time. I'm spending way too much time searching and walking around than I should be!

Hi again Mike, I keep getting "Speeding" warnings from Uber. Actually, I just sent an email into Uber Support about this as I'm not sure if other Uber Drivers are aware of this, I mentioned it in one of my videos and they are at it again. The other day driving to Santa Cruz for my other job which has nothing to do with Uber they tracked me speeding, even though I had the app switched off etc. This pissed me off as it happened again last night night! So I just sent them an email asking if they are now "Big Brother" and tracking us Uber Drivers even when we are "Offline" fucking idiots, I can drive how fast I want if I'm not driving for Uber. When I have a passenger in the car I always follow the law, but tracking us while out working our personal jobs etc or going anywhere for that fact, they are tracking us! Well, I'll let everyone know what they say to me as I sent them a rather straight to the point email not to track me, as it's an invasion of our privacy! I understand it's fine when having a passenger in the car, but not this. Pissed me right off to say the least. I think I will drive for "Lyft" today instead. UberGirlPaula!

Install what3words on your phone and tell the client to do so. Ask for their location. It will put you with in a 10' square and should make it easy for people to get to where they need to go.
can you please tell me..in google navigation map how to make the navigation arrow always face forward? I know this commnt does not mach with this video but I am helpless sir..if anyone knows please tell me that.

how do i call the rider.?i was a uber rider and they used to call me and i called them but as a driver i cannot call the rider and they have told me when they call it sounds like a fax machine.And on my side as driver it tells me.so4y but we dont know who your trying to call but contact uber help.....????im confused.
