Love your content as I came across the game recently. Been trying to figure out AI tendencies, such as ranged squad tends to move first. Would love to see a video on that based on your experience.
Thanks for the content! Honestly, I never really thought about that much. The game wasn't difficult enough that I had to plan that far out. It may be easy to determine tho. Just do a quick save before the end of your turn and see if the AI order is always the same. It may just go in sequence order from a predetermined list. If I was implementing it, I would randomize the turn order of enemy units.
Funny part with Lysander is that any unit that's tanky in his squad has beacon they are basically immortal because of his heal its such a broken combo.
Great setup I had for him was middle row of three riflemen, and front row of three Centurions, with a Hospitaller/Templar and Oracle in the back with him. Very little they couldn't do.
Sybil, when she promotes to Paladin, gets +Leader points, I think 10. You see the little flag icon pop over her when it happens. That explains why her capacity increases.
the ambush is really good for jules, i found legendary heroes with knight captain or musketeer captain.abygail and lysander are my best leader with +15 capacity unit
Hmm.. I am not quite sure if Samurai are considered "archer type" since they can also melee. I don't think they do, but you can easily test it out! Let us know!
Personally I'd put Jules in S tier. And bump Narima up to A if you keep her near Jules. Reason being that I always build Jules' group as a strict horse archer group and aways keep him on high ground to benefit from the Artifact that increase damage when attacking lower enemies. I also give him the one that takes 10% of his health a turn, but also heals him per enemy killed. It's not uncommon for him to be among the few survivors on mission 12 since cannons will try and focus him and do minimal damage due to attacking from lower, while he murders them due to the extra damage as well as healing whatever damage dealt to him through the arti.
As a new player, I have to say Stefen is not good at early to medium stage of game, the rogue or assasin team is so weak to defense, if Stefen squad can not one-shot enemy squad in first turn, they'll be suffer heavy loss.
You might wanna consider ambush tiles and the fact that rangers get increased evasion on them, so put them in the front. Then try to get Assassin's Reaper trait on some of them to keep them with some sustain. Precision is also amazing to deal with heavy armor. You can mix in swordmasters and they can frontline extremely well too.
For Beatrix I like to use "Temporal Modulator" (attack first even on defense), "Sin Credo" (leader gets 2 turns, followers do 25% less damage) and the Giant's Thresher (mentioned in the video)

I used mine on Diana's squad because I tend to put her in range (alone) against like 5+ other enemy squads so the Temporal Modulator will work against the first 3 attacks, but against the last 2 attacks it won't. Therefore, i need a high attack power and high defensive units to be able to kill that many squads in a row.
swordmasters are insain with diana why? cause they attack before diana and can clear the front row the diana and her front line can now kill the second row. people remember how you build can make or break a squad. also i would love to see what he think of the changes with the DLC. it has changed the game a bit.
Sin Credo Should always go on Beatrix group. Gives her an Extra attack , Very worth it since she has the best attack in the game. Now do 3 front line Silver Dragons , and 2 Back Line healers , Nothing but an Ambush Attack can put a dent in this group.
I agree, Sin Credo is very good on Beatrix but I feel that it is unnecessary. With my 2 front line dragon and Beatrix, I would always one-shot any units without Sin Credo so I felt I did not need it. Also, Beatrix's unit rarely got attacked for me. I either always destroy every enemy units in range or they would attack someone else than Beatrix since she has a very high combat rating.

How is Jaromir bad? His trait might be useless, but he starts with a very high capacity. I was able to stick 3 dragons, a paladin and a templar on his team immediately when I unlocked him, a full team without any investment. His leadership was only lower than my two most used characters at that point. EDIT: later I figured out that, because he is cavalry, his unit can't fly. RIP. Ended up giving his dragons to Beatrix when I recruited her. With Ataraxia and Imperial War Banner, she can rear 3 dragons from the get-go. As for Jaromir, I guess I would place him in low B tier, his only good point is the very high capacity. I suggest giving him a Captain trait and filling his team with 9 units.
If squad is done correctly, Jaromir is a beast, no matter whether hes on tundra or not. Any leader has the potential to be awesome with the right squad setup and artifacts. Also need to use them for the right situations.
Without the nephilim powers (wich are still available without Lindly/Devoa being deployed) the MCs are not really strong in my opinion...so in no way S-Tier! Narima is the one and only S-Tier in my opinion cause she has melee and longrange attacks and she hits the hardest..one single attack can kill full health units because of her insane stats and skills...additionally she can melee attack walls and can attack EVERY unit regardless of position. Additionally she boosts Jules defence...why the hell are you putting her in B-Tier?? Diana and Beatrix in S-Tier works for me because later in the game they can have significant impact. But Stephan is so A-Tier...he has nice skills for getting money but his base stats and performance are not superior enough for S-Tier. Barnie is just a slightly better knight so no A-Tier, more of a B-Tier...same with Jules. Abigayle is a goddess because of her dragon affinity which boosts and accelerates the development of dragons which are the one and only goal for the late game. Everything below A-Tier for her is an insult. Raskuja is a demi-god for the backrows cause he evades almost every backrow attack...additionally his snipershots hit very hard if you care for his skill stat and crits...definitely A-Tier! Joromir is the same as Barnie and Sybil...sorry but she is neither a good templar nor a good paladin...C-Tier is quite generous of you. Had a mix of Samurai and Warbows for Jules. Worked well for me.
