There is a subtle difference here. With 都，it is to emphasize the desperate， or extreme situation here. It is usually used in this way only in casual speech. for example, 我都忙死了。 我都冷得受不了了。

上班 is less formal than 工作. 点儿+ noun is to soften the tone: 你想喝点儿什么？What would you like to drink? 谢谢你 thanks
