You mentioned the dialog quite a few times. When we write these type of cues with dialog in mind, isn’t the amount of percussive elements and high-frequency content in your track already too much and too distracting? Doesn’t it get in the way of any dialog?
Overly produced hihats and harsh sounds can be distracting in certain context. Dialogue typically lives in the 600-1000hz range depending on if it's a male/female. These types of tracks don't typically compete with dialogue once it gets to the verse section. That's why I drop everything out and leave a ton of space to leave even more room. But say for a certain scene some of the sounds are too distacting, an editor would use a stem like (only drum and bass) for example.
Just when I thought I had it down, Nathan goes ahead and adds tips I haven't used before hahahaha. Awesome video man. Imma implement one tip here I have not done in my cue composition. P.s. I had to come back and edit this comment hahaha I've reduced almost to %100 my fastfood consumption, but I used to love Chick-Fil-A fries and for some odd reason Steak-N-Shake's fries.

I've got a question I wanna go into sync I make typebeats I've got a type beat channel for emotional rod wave,lil Durk lil tjay type beat So I wanna be making emotional beats for movies that can be used in the background Now here's my question is it ok for me to just do an emotional piano Melody without drums and send to a music library or I must add drums, cause some movies I watch they just play only a piano in the background with no drums I would love an answer Thanks

Typically you want full tracks, emotional rod wave style beats work well for TV
