Thunderous One Islam isn’t a group of countries it’s a religion. Islam is perfect but we who follow it aren’t perfect because we have free will on whether we want to do good and bad. The bad things that these countries or a few people from these countries do cannot represent this beautiful religion. The only good representation of Islam is the prophets especially ibrahim and Mohammed peace be upon them.

Second, I do not seek to argue, I would do so if you are a hater, but it seems you have reasons for why you said that and I respect that. Third, while I don't have the knowledge to say that I know more than Syeikh Wasiullah Abbas. I do know, however, he does not speak against Ismail Menk. What he says could be applied to anyone and not specifically Ismail Menk. The way I see it, Syeikh Wasiullah is teaching the listeners to be careful from whom you take knowledge from. And I don't see why this justify you making fun of him. "and not the age old ones of the widespread shirk and lack of tawhid. right lol " This is what you said, with the "right lol". Thank you. I am a 70 years old English woman and converted to Islam when I was 18.Unfortunately I was never able to master learning Arabic to read the Quran in Arabic, though my 4 children have.MashAllah. I have always read it in English transliteration, and again in pure English in order to understand it’s meaning. There is no knowledge to be gained if you cannot read it in one’s own language. May Allah bless you for your lectures. I find them so easy to understand and listen to one before I go to sleep every night.
Maryum may Allah grant you the highest of heavens. But the way how I learnt Arabic fast was using Arabic to write English for a while in my spare time (which my sound weird) especially in these days where lockdown has started yet again. I have mastered writing and reading Arabic just by doing that.
Ma'am I would like you to know that you've excelled excellent with great strides before Almighty ALLAH(SWT) & do not be swayed by your lack of Arabic language for I was born a Muslim&still is without the knowledge Arabic, I read well my English Quran & for he's no man nor have any manly attributes, he controls & know it all. So Ma'am, you're doing fantastically well.... Ma_Sallam
Alhamdulillah... Thank you Mufti Menk... May Allah SWT always shower grace and blessings on all of us. May we be protected from the slander of the Dajjal.
I think what they wanted to say was that due to people literally pointing out each and everything saying it shouldn't be like that it isn't allowed arguing over every little thing people think Islam is hard and too conservative. But yeah nowadays even some Muslim doesn't know anything about their own deen.
Not oppressive, but "hard" and "complicated" and "too many rules". Majority of us don't know our own religion well enough, only to put off the potential Muslim to-be due to misinformation or focus on the _tiniest_ things that may or may not be correct, let alone affect someone's deen whole-sale. It's almost as if these little issues flag one is destined for hell by default, when that isn't the case, so thus "it's too hard, Islam has too many rules.." etc. Sad times.

Important Hadith: “Do not shun each other; do not ignore one another; do not hate one another; and do not envy one another; and be brothers with one another, O slaves of Allah . No Muslim is allowed to shun his (Muslim) brother for more than 3 days.” [Bukhari, Adab (Manners), 57-58] الحديث المهم "لا تتجنبوا بعضكم البعض ؛ لا تتجاهل بعضها البعض. لا تكرهوا بعضكم بعضا. ولا تحسدوا بعضكم بعضا. وكونوا اخوة مع بعضكم يا عباد الله. لا يجوز لأي مسلم أن يتجنب أخيه (المسلم) لأكثر من 3 أيام ". In Malay/Indonesian: INSYAALLAH In English: INSHAALLAH In Hungarian: INSÁÁLLÁH In Japanese: インシャアラー They all sounds same. So why we worried about this? That's the main purpose of transliteration: so people that can't speak arabic can read it in the same way as arabic native speaker. May Allah bless Mufti Menk for explaining this matter clearly for everyone.
INSHA = انشاء انشاء = build/create Which means "INSHAALLAH" = build/create Allah / انشاء الله. IN SHA ALLAH = If Allah Wills/ان شاء الله. Which is the correct way.
@UC0pVnFRKZCs3TF82UBJOTXA so how about Japanese people that write it as: インシャアラー (Intsa'araah)? Are they going to jahannam only because of that? It's just a matter of how people from each part of the world can move their mouth in similar ways possible to the arabic speakers. In case of english, INSHAALLAH sound closer with إن شاء الله so that the transliteration (NOT the translation) are written on that way. No need to adding space, because the transliteration "INSHAALLAH" are just onomatopoeia of the original arabic voice not the arabic transcript itself.
@@LittleRedRidingHoo Who's arguing ? I just wrote him the correct way with explanation, and now it is an argument ?! dafuq. If you still didn't understand : It's not just about writing it, but also the way it sounds. You have to pause between IN and SHA, otherwise it's one word which have different meaning. No matter which language, you have to pause since what you speak is in Arabic. and to make "our non arabic speaking friend" say it right with transliteration then you have to write it to him "IN SHA ALLAH" so he doesn't say it wrong as one word. Refer to my original comment to see why.

@@yesyoureright bruh, he literally just said in the video that transliteration means nothing, there is no right or wrong way of saying Inshallah in English. In Arabic, yes there is a right and wrong way. But for transliteration you can write it anyway you want as long as it pronounces the original word, Inshallah. It has to be different than the original word or else it wouldn't be transliteration.

The fact people are *arguing* over this, instead of reading Qûr'an while اللهُ teaches: "Do not be divided theirin". when speaking of Islam and more, indicating the opposite.
Well, this is the problem of being ignorant. When writing Arabic into English it doesn't have to be 100% the same. It just has to be in a way where the other person knows its Inshallah or whatever. Also, what I'm saying is from a scholar.

The noun of create is creation. So it means creation of Allah which I think is fine, unless you say Insha'ullah. That's just a linguistic aspect no need to overthink it as long as the meaning is well known. Worst case, it's a linguistic mistake but not a sin.

I’m shocked at the level that people will stoop to to argue about silly things like this. No one is talking about empathy, kindness and chivalry as much as they should.
These are the reasons why the ummah is so divided, small things like this are their focus! It’s sad that Mufti Menk had to address this, respect to him for doing so though 💪🏽❤️
Small things matter. People have trouble doing this. And ALHAMDULILLAH mufti menk is making an effort to correct even a tiny mistakes because it does matter. If u don't want to know why r u here?
I think small things do matter though. But in this case, this small thing shouldn't have been a matter of discussion for so long because it is pointless. So, while some "small" things should be put aside, certain "small" things that DO have an impact on our Iman should have our time and attention (ie, correcting others on the right way to do it with gentleness and clarity)

Im Malay, from Malaysia. from what I learn, yes, what Mufti Menk said same as my ustaz(teacher) teach. In sha Allah/ Insya Allah/ In sya Allah, either one can use as long we pronounced it same as arabic. the important is pronounzation in arabic. as long it means same as arabic, we can write in our transliteration. lets dont argue with it. if we got still in confusion, just using arabic letter, that will clear our confusion. Alhamdulillah, may Allah guide us to Jannah.
Im not saying that we can’t write it that way inshaallah, but it’s good to know what they meant. They are talking about the deference between ان شاء الله and انشاء الله. The word انشاء الله means “the construction of allah” while ان شاء الله with a short pause means ”allah willing” “if allah will” ً We should pronounce it in the right way with a short pause on the letter N. Write it the way you want but pronounce it right.
i spent 10 years in the UAE as a child into my teens. even as a westerner, i studied Islamic studies and actually believe more in Islam and the Qur'an and will one day recite the Shahadah when i feel worthy enough. I love that i learnt Arabic. Bismillah to all my brothers and sisters in this world. Peace be upon you.
Cruyff’s soul she/he was talking about the old generation. They didn’t know better. And what you are talking about is a combination : lack of education and ignorance.. and Allah ou A3lam
A I mean all of this is most probably intentional by those ruling our nations by appealing religious conservatism. This is something that tends to attract the older generation. Obviously the things you mentioned are true but we need to dive deeper into the main issue. Although that shouldn’t stop us from solving them. The young and middle generations have different flaws but mostly it’s the older age group who tend to think that way.
As a person from the young generation I disagree. The younger generation is the one over complicating things and not only that, we are arrogant and think we always know better.
This was beautifully explained, thank you Mufti Menk may Allah bless you.

@Thunderous Oneman you making it a habit to post this all over?you can find the answer you want if you wanted too,may allah guide you.Its ok to be curious, its our nature
@Thunderous One plus you cant judge an entire religion just cuz of some countries, countries and governments do not represent islam, go do sone research before coming and arguing. ignorant

@@brutuslutus6636 After thinking for a while, I decided to edit this comment. First, I am sorry about my previous comment against you because I thought you are hating on Ismail Menk. Ismail Menk has many degrees in which should clarify his height of knowledge and he is not just someone who speaks like he knows something. Again, I apologize for my previous comment, I am ashamed of myself for having bad thoughts of my own Muslim brother. Peace upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and may Allah bless all of us and guides us in this age where we are so far apart from the age of the Prophet. Ameen. Jazakallah Khairan

It’s because of these silly arguments that people overthink Islam is oppressive. Thank you for clarifying it for the ummah! 🎊🎉
Sad times.
@@Jehdii You said it perfectly in my honest opinion! Thank you and may Allah make it easy for all of us!

INSHAALLAH, THE VIDEO MADE ME FEEL BLESSED!
In Malay/Indonesian: INSYAALLAH
In English: INSHAALLAH
In Hungarian: INSÁÁLLÁH
In Japanese: インシャアラー
They all sounds same. So why we worried about this? That's the main purpose of transliteration: so people that can't speak arabic can read it in the same way as arabic native speaker.
May Allah bless Mufti Menk for explaining this matter clearly for everyone.
INSHA = انشاء
انشاء = build/create
Which means "INSHAALLAH" = build/create Allah / انشاء الله.
@@Phantom- don't get into an argument about something that is not debatable.

Well, this is the problem of being ignorant. When writing Arabic into English it doesn't have to be 100% the same. It just has to be in a way where the other person knows its Inshallah or whatever. Also, what I'm saying is from a scholar.
@@mmcweight8827 Ignorant is a word better not used. I suggest we obstain from referring to others in that matter as it is judgmental. Those people like I sad are better of reading Quran front to back and memorising it as such and so should I

I’m from Malaysia 🇲🇾 Most of us here spell it In sha Allah / Insya Allah / In sya Allah ❤️ As long as we know the meaning so that should be okay ✨
In my opinion, it is same like the spelling of Assalamu’alaikum / Assalamu’alaykum. Most of us here in Malaysia will spell it Assalamualaikum. I also have Arabic friends from Saudi Arabia that will spell it Assalamu’alaykum. It’s the same meaning even it has different with the spelling.
Love and peace from 🇲🇾 ❤️

What is stopping you to accept Islam my friend.
Do you mind if I share a brief overview of Islam?

When people talk about “create”, they mean
إنشاء
As a word, not a verb.
The noun of create is creation. So it means creation of Allah which I think is fine, unless you say Insha'ullah. That's just a linguistic aspect no need to overthink it as long as the meaning is well known. Worst case, it's a linguistic mistake but not a sin.
0mer understood, and thank you for the correction.
I am not saying anything against what the sheikh said, but in my opinion he didn’t address what people usually warn others which to avoid إنشاء الله

Write it the way you want but pronounce it right.
one of the first Shekhs who addresses this issues that are completely taking attention away from what is important
Thank YOU our dear Mufti

I seriously despise people who over-complicate Islam, it's mainly the old generation, unfortunately.
Their intention is good tho.. we just need sabr (patience) with eachother
A Not everyone has good intentions. Haven’t you seen the rise of social conservatism and it’s faults?
