I just checked out my hobby lobby this morning and they only had a fraction of those brands on clearance. I wish I had it like yours! I wanted those sugar wheels lol.

Ooh! Chunky yarn is great for blankets, works up real fast. Or a chunky cardigan or hat n scarf set. It's great for beginners too cos it works up so fast 😀❤️

You are so right spinesse is no way a 3 weight. Didn't have any sugar wheels on sale where I was at. You have so many yarn options at your hobby lobby that ours didn't have. Im making a shawl out of spinnese. I too like the yarnology 😊

I totally missed this sale.. but was able to fill a bag of some of what they had left this past Thursday at the Lawrence location. Bummed but at least I got something.
I’d make a big big blanket (like queen size) with a big stitch pattern, like a treble crochet granny square!
Crochet thread. #3 is fingering and #10 is lace weight (two strands held together makes a light fingering).
I was just at one of my 4 HLs Monday and there as no clearance yarn, just a few embroidery and sewing things. Usually there are a few skeins over in the clearance section after they sell out of most of the clearance. I didn’t see ANY empty spots. So maybe they just did notions and stuff so far. I usually spend a few hundred dollars every year on clearance yarn. And I go to all 4 stores. I know where I’m going when I get up. 😂
My HL now has their clearance going and let me tell you how extremely little is going out. At most nine yarn lines have clearance. Some are the whole line, some just pieces. I got most of what I wanted and spent eighteen dollars.

Went to 2 Hobby Lobby stores here in Kansas and No Yarn Clearances - only the 30% sale. They will not tell me if there is one coming up either. Why all the secrecy?!

You do buy Hobii yarn, right? Or not? Humm. I was wondering when it's your first time buying yarn from that company how do you do the math for the yarn? I'm a bit unsure cause about that. I want to get a good price but a cheaper price? You know what I mean?. Does Hobii have there store in the US or will they just send the yarn I purchase to me from there company out of state? Hobbii is based on Denmark and only sells online to the US.
Their regular prices can be quite high, but if you watch they often have very good sales on different yarns.
Also, they just dropped their minimum shipping fee to $5, from $10, and you get free shipping if your order is over $100.
If you are asking about the store Ginger visited in this video, it is Hobby Lobby, a completely different company.
They are an American craft store, and they also sell online.
I hope this helps, as I wasn't sure of the exact question (Hobbii vs Hobby Lobby).

Unfortunately my hobby lobby is changing into made in china junk marker now selling carpets, kitchen utensils shower curtain and everything else slowly eliminating yarn and craft departments. I don’t even go there anymore because it is a waste of time
Hobby Lobby only sells cheap acrylic yarn. You should try yarn made from natural fibers like cotton, wool, silk. Acrylic is only good for making kids stuff toys and wash cloths.

My hb only has 30% off. I didnt see any clearance yarn at all. I got the artiste thread. You oughta ship me me yarn! I paid 14.99 for the big artiste. #10 yarn is used mostly for doilies and such. Baskets for the thick cotton.

Oh brother there are 2 words I love that is SALE & CLEARANCE! Hobby Lobby is only 15 min away but my lease is ending and I need to move ASAP! Saw a very nice place on Fri but it was to far and I was ‘t liking the area. Canceled one for tomorrow- read the reviews and someone said they had bats in there apt- forget that. Scheduled to see another for tomorrow all newly renovated not far so I’m hopping? Once I find a place and move then it will be time to come out of retirement 😢. Very difficult to live on social security. How is your organizing of your yarn coming? Your hubby was so nice loading his truck and helping you. If I was still married mine would most definitely not help but complain about all the yarn I had/have lol. He did that when I had ( still have a lot) of my card making supplies. Oh well. Thanks for taking us along on your journey but can’t believe you didn’t buy anything 😂. ❤gayle
