I love this series! As a note, the mountains refers to the whole northern area with Robin's house, Linus' tent, out to the Adventurer's Guild. The bass frenzy would've been at the lake in front of the mine entrance!! Also, forageables can be picked up from the ground or grown from mixed seeds, which tou get from chopping weeds or tilling dirt. Mixed seeds will always grow forageables of the season in which they're planted. And to submit items for the community center, you have to actually GO to the community center. The info page is really just to show what you still need, you can't submit items through it. Can't wait for the next part!
Check your daily luck on the TV. Better luck means you might get ladders more often in the mines. Bad luck means you might get ladders less often! Love the videos. I love the longer videos but make what you want. I just love watching people play!
Plant the coffee bean! With Speed-Gro if you can. It takes a while to mature, but will provide you with more coffee beans which you can save to plant later. When you have lots of coffee beans you can start making coffee.
Crows aren’t the only danger to your crops, weeds and the like can also start to encroach.
Loving the longer vids! Watching other people enjoy themselves does always make me want to play along
Luck actually plays a huge part in this game, there are items and achievements related to boosting it. The tv is the easiest way to check luck. I’m not sure its just my opinion but I think terrible/worst luck days can be good for mine loot
a few notes:
-there's a poster on the wall between marlon and gil in the adventurer's guild that shows you how many of each monster you've killed/how many you still need to kill.
-the best day to loot for forage items is saturday, because everything gets reset on sunday. you will also need some other farming crops for the CC in addition to the foraging.
-sunday is also the day when your gifts reset, so you can start giving harvey gifts again on sundays.
-if someone catches you rummaging through the trash, they will complain, and you lose a few friendship points with them lol.
-as for the purple shorts, i suggest visiting people's houses.
-the railroad area was opened during that earthquake you heard at the end of your last video. it always happens on the third day of summer in year 1.
-i know you don't like farming, but growing and selling crops is a nice passive way to earn money while you are exploring the mines. pro-tip - if you get low on energy, you can go to the bathhouse in the railroad area and refill your energy there after watering crops or doing a bunch of mining levels. just go all the way to the left and enter the room on the bottom left, then stand still in the pool.
Frozen Tears are Sebastians favorite gift! makes sense given the sad emo boi he is
I always watch these while I'm playing stardew too :) none of my friends are into it so I love just *technically* having someone to play with side by side lol

Forage plants like spice berries are found in the wild and not sold by Pierre. You can grow forage plants from seeds you make, but you can't make the seeds without finding all the plants first. So just keep looking in various places. Some different forage plants spawn in different areas.

You will need all four dwarf scrolls to get the dwarven translation guide which enables you to understand Dwarvish. Then you can speak to the dwarf on the other side of that wall at the mine entrance. You can destroy it with a cherry bomb. Also you can then read the tombstone that seems to be in gibberish which will guide you to a really good sword but you need to have fixed the bus from donating to a certain room of the community center
You’re not breaking the iron ore rocks, you will need lots of iron ore to make sprinklers. Then you will never need to spend time watering.
I feel like this is a perfect speedrun and you can fix nothing about it keep it going!
Check the bulletin board in the Adventurers' Guild (on the other side of Marlon's desk) to see how much of each monster you have killed that is part of a monster eradication goal.

14:18 Every time you break a normal rock, there's a small chance to get a ladder. After you've killed all monsters on the level, the chance is increased. The chance is also affected by daily luck.
You can craft a staircase for 99 Stone to skip a level. I sometimes think about doing that in order to skip those crappy spiral levels (19 is one, I think?), but I always tend to find a ladder pretty quickly.
14:20 Those big ones are a cheap way to get Stone. For 8 basic Pickaxe swings you get 10 stone, so it's cheap both in terms of time and Energy. And with an upgraded Pickaxe they're even more attractive.
15:36 You have two Ring slots, and Ring effects stack. Also, Iron is very useful for making Sprinklers so you won't have to water your crops.
15:48 Sap has uses, but you can gather it in large amounts above ground. Same with Fibre. So they're the first resources I drop in the Mines when I'm low on inventory space. Also tiny amounts of Wood and even Hardwood. Hardwood is valuable, but you find it rarely down there, so I don't want to waste one inventory slot on 3 or 6 Hardwood.
16:14 Coal is actually extremely valuable, I'd say. If I were you, I'd happily drop those Wild or Flower Seeds, and if needed even the Slime too, to be able to pick up that Coal.
Bat Wings are very valuable too, even more so than Coal, until you reach the point where you have as many as you need. Maybe after you've found the first 150 or so? Whereas Coal is always useful. And you find it often enough in the Mines that it's very worthwhile to free an inventory slot for the first piece.
17:24 You can sell most such items in the Guild. Also, try to look for seasonal forage items, for the Bundles and to sell.
18:40 No, first Grape ought to go to the Bundle. And before the wiki, or for people who refuse to use it, the answer is trial and error.
