I just wanted to say, I really appreciate how pure and "fresh-react" your playthrough is. Most 1.6 content that's out there, people have already played, so they only react to what's new and otherwise have the standard intense playthrough. Whereas everything is new to you, and it's really sweet to "see" 1.6 through completely fresh eyes. I would love to see you continue this series!
I suggest Julien's playthrough (julien 2), he started for the first time when 1.6 came out and went HARD, like 7+ hour streams because he just couldn't stop hahah
@kittensaver that's where I'm at rn lol. I'm going through like a year a day. Finally got all the juminos done on 1 farm at the start of year 2. Doing a run now where I got my 1st coop before spring end and barn mid summer. On track to beat juminos on day 2 winter :)
continue, there is soooo much left to experience. Getting 10 hearts with Shane unlocks a new animal, he likes hot peppers. He likes beer too, but I refuse to enable him. His cut scenes will break your heart.

Omg the week one red cabbage seed 😂 Enjoying the video, it feels like experiencing the game fresh again! Hope you continue Some non-spoiler tips: Check the TV every day! Explore some more above the wizard's tower... You can view the community center bundles from your inventory. You'll see the icon to the right-hand side. Pets can wear hats. Birthdays are important. You can buy a calendar from Robin to place in your house to easily check birthdays. Animals eat either one piece of hay, or 2 pieces of grass (or 1 piece of blue grass) per day. They won't die without food, but you'll lose friendship with them which affects the quality of their products and they won't produce until you feed them again. You can place a fence on the broken fence to replace it, no need to destroy it first. Hardwood and iron fences last longer, but technically you don't really need them. I usually don't bother until I can afford iron. You can place farm machines in the coop and barn. The Ranching profession only works for the 'raw' (unprocessed) animal products. You can change your profession later so don't worry. You have insane luck with the fruitbat cave lol.
@@breezieseaz Don't worry too much about the red cabbage seed. It's not important unless you want to complete the community center in year one. A couple more useful tips: You can place certain structures on grass starters to essentially 'trap' them. For example, if you place down grass starters everywhere you want to fence off your animals, then place the fences on top of the grass starters, they'll never go away (until the fence decays). The animals can't eat them but they will continue to spread. Budget-friendly grass spreading! You can also do lightning rods (which is what I usually do). Sashimi is underrated. Related tip - there are several 'universal likes', including many cooked dishes. There's usually some exceptions to each dish but they are generally safer than, for example, salmonberries. Give in to your inner snoop (i.e. snoop around more!). Yes, the gambling wheel at the fair is, in fact, rigged. Green has a 75% chance to win. I'm honestly impressed you stuck it out and got the tokens with the fishing game! Also, it is possible to both 'win' and 'lose' the strength-test game (you'll get a single token if you either hit the very top or bottom). The telephone that you can buy at Robin's is honestly pretty useful, especially if you aren't using the wiki. It allows you to call Robin and view the construction costs for farm buildings. Try to buy all the recipes you see. There's basically nothing in the game that is a "get it now or lose it" deal. It may be season locked, festival locked, location or weather-specific, but there's essentially nothing that you can't get later if you miss it the first time. Lastly, continue to have fun! This is one of my favorite games of all times and it's a pleasure to see a new player explore and discover it for the first time :)
This was so fun and cozy to watch. If you do decide to continue playing here’s an Easter egg. Visit the waterfall near the hat shop on the 17th of spring for a lucky rainbow surprise. :)
Love seeing people play for the first time! I hope that you continue to play. Also you shouldn't cut all of the grass down that's what you use to feed your animals hay. Once you get the silo you can start cutting as it will automatically go into the silo, just don't cut it all leave a bunch here and there so it will grow back.
I just found this video from my reccomendations and its so cozy and wholesome. I've been a cozy causal player of stardew valley since 1.5 and seeing someone not minmax stardew and use the wiki every minute is so refreshing and fun. P.S. your voice is so nice and calming. @@breezieseaz Blue grass comes with the meadows farm you chose. Otherwise you have to wait until you get blue grass starter to grow it on the farm. Animals like blue grass better than normal grass and it gives them more friendship points when they eat it outside, so it’s good to keep around for the animals 😊

Really nice to see someone experiencing Stardew for the first time It’s one of, if not my favourite game, so it’s so nice seeing someone experiencing it for the first time.
I’m so glad this popped up on my recommendations. You did great! I love your casual style. You don’t have to min/max everything so going at a slightly slower pace is fine. It was way better watching you discover everything naturally and enthusiastically. I wish I could experience Stardew for the first time again.
This was so fun to watch you play this for the first time! Little tip! Make sure to check your TV in your house everyday to get more recipes, clues about the town and check you luck and weather each day! Also if you put down some grass on the last day of winter you will get lots of grass for your animals at the start of spring!
Continue!! There’s so much left to discover and so much story left to be learned, this game truly captures your heart the deeper you get into the plot and what it has to offer! Happy playing :)
It doesn’t actually matter if your animals get out. At night time they always go back into the coop of the door is left open. It’s actually nice to let your animals wander the farm in the day, makes it feel more alive.
This was indeed fun to watch. As for tips, besides watching the cooking show on the TV (new episode every Sunday, I think the re-runs are Wednesdays) there is one important area you missed so far... It is hidden by a log when you walk past the place the travelling merchants set up her cart every Friday and Sunday. After that, you will need to complete the Vault bundles to unlock a new area.
Wow loved seeing the game through your eyes as a new player I don’t want to spoil anything but felt compelled to tell you that Vincent in fact loves grapes 😅 you had it with you so many times while he didn’t like your gift and I was not screaming 🤣🤣 loving your playthrough ❤
I watched so many people's experienced playthroughs, and i loved seeing someone play it who was closer to my skill level. I started playing last year, and while ive put in what i assume is an insane amount of hours into it, ive never even completed the community center. It made me feel validated in a way lol. Also Shane may be super rude when you first meet him, but he becomes such a sweetheart once you hit 4 hearts with him, and he has a great story.
I'd love to see more of you playing! Its so fun to see people do blind playthroughs, it gets hard when you've sunk so many hours in to remember what it was like starting!
i have been watching this the past days, i have never played sdv myself because it seemed so intimidating, people make spreadsheets etc. and it seems not cozy, rather stressful if you wanna optimize stuff. so I really enjoyed your approach to the game! inspired me to give it a try mself. would love to see you play more sdv!
saw this in my recommended and I'm so glad I clicked! It's so fun getting to see someone completely new to stardew experience it. Also, if you look by the bulletin board outside Pierre's shop, there is a calendar that will tell you birthdays/festivals. I think you're able to buy one from Robin to put in your house too :)
Hey, Breezie! Thank you for that Video. I absolutely loved it. I have about 1500 hours in this Game and it was amazing to be reminded of the first time I played it. You are so sweet, I have Coffee every morning with you for breakfast. Great start to the day. Thank you! ❤😊
I started playing Stardew this month so I really appreciated seeing another new player discover all the cute little things the game has to offer in a cozy, unhurried manner around the same time as me. Hope you keep playing! 🌱
I don't think I saw/ heard you mention the TV at all, but maybe I missed it. But if not, watching the TV is helpful. You can learn what the weather will be like the next day, learn new recipes, and learn what mood the spirits are in (the spirits' mood affects your luck/ experience in the mines and such) ☺
I have watched sooo many Stardew valley play-throughs and this is easily in my top 3 favorites! 🥳🎉 I really hope you play through the rest of the game too 🤞😊
This was such a delightful video to watch. It’s not quite as enjoyable seeing people speed through a peaceful game. Please I would love to see you play more sdv. There is so much more to explore. You got a subscriber from me ❤🙂🙂
hello, I don't think I've commented before... but I started watching your channel when you only had the 100 days of coral island and I fell in love with your style! I got so happy when I saw that you posted this! I love Stardew valley, I'm not a good player, but I enjoy the game so much and it's so nice to watch you taking things slow and having your own pace. I find very amusing your love for animals and cute things! Please continue, I'm very interested on seeing who you are going to pick up as love interest (even though i think it will be Shane), but there are amazing other characters with unique stories, so give them a shot! (also thank you for loving my boy Linus, he deserves so much love - he and pam were my first friends!)
Thank you so much for this sweet comment! I appreciate that you've been watching since my first video 😯 I'll definitely continue my playthrough - I'm really enjoying the game so far!
This game is so vast and wonderful, there is so much to unlock and so much I haven't even seen yet (I have around 50 hours in just one of my four save files)
19:04 not you getting the red cabbage seed on the first week of your playthru 😫 However I really liked watching you play this, it’s nice seeing somebody play it with fresh eyes. I hope you upload another video playing SDV again!
Red cabbage seeds are only available at Pierre's year 2 summer, so finding them in the traveling cart year 1 is one of the few ways to complete the community center year 1 @@breezieseaz
@@breezieseaz the red cabbage seed is a year 2 exclusive crop, but is also required to complete the community center. experienced players can complete every other part of the community center easily year 1, so checking the traveling cart for red cabbage is essential for more intense play xD not a problem in your playthrough since on a first playthrough it does usually take well into year 2 to complete the community center!
@@amberbydreamsart5467 in my first Playthrough I finished the community center in spring of year 2 because my last item was the rabbits foot. I spent all of winter year one waiting for it to drop from one of the rabbits in my coop.
I'm loving your video. I am half way through but I got to ask now before I forget, is Eggbert a reference to Buffy? Okay now I've watched the whole thing and I'm down with watching more. Tips: you can tap place chests outside the farm, a very helpful place is the entrance to the mine, you can put temporarily put stuff in there that you don't need in the mine or to empy to backpack while mining. You can also tap trees outside the farm. There is one place you did not explore: North west of the area where Marnie and the wizard are.
@@breezieseaz Calling it a character is a bit of a stretch, in one episode the students are given eggs to treat as if they were baby, Buffy named hers Eggbert.
Half way through and i am wondering if you will ever start checking your luck before entering in the mines! HAHA! I hope you keep going. I have 2,000 hours into this game and just LOVE watching authientic new player gamess where they don't check the wiki for everything.
Same here btw - never ‘really’ played it but watched tons of videos. Looks fantastic! Tick off another mark in the “I Played 200 Days in Stardew Valley For The First Time!” Column, that’s for my vote.
I hope you continue playing SDV and other games, you should also try like some mods, I would love to see your experience with the stardew expanded mod❤
Oh yeah and best tip is don’t take everything with you all the time. If you know you’re going to the mines, leave everything you don’t need in the chest before going. Then you will have much more space in your inventory. In short, don’t have all your tools on you all the time. Leave them in chests when you don’t need them.
Maybe I haven't read enough comments but there is a huge one I feel should be stated incase you didn't know: DO NOT give your first Prismatic Shard to the museum! I got on my first farm and had no idea it was a very rare item and gave it away. Save it for a surprise at the desert!
you can use other furniture for fences! i like using lightning rods, decorations from the furniture catalogues, and tea saplings (recipe comes from 2 hearts with caroline) because they keep things contained while being useful/cute themselves! (:
I, I fellow bird owner, was also disappointed that you could not own a bird. However! If you marry Emily, her bird will move in, if you marry Abigail her hamster will move in and if you marry Sebastian you’ll get pet frogs.
Not too crazy of a tip but if you click on the 9 things you submitted to the fair you can get them back! Also Sebastian loves frozen tears which I don’t think are used for anything else
So nice seeing someone who feels how i feel about the villagers Iike their all flawed yeah but i dont hate anyone, though clint needs to re-evaluate his life a bit(even if it did happen it wont fix it bro)

This was so fun to watch you play this for the first time! Little tip!
Make sure to check your TV in your house everyday to get more recipes, clues about the town and check you luck and weather each day!
Also if you put down some grass on the last day of winter you will get lots of grass for your animals at the start of spring!
The absolute speed i clicked on this when it popped up in my feed. Just got done binging your other vids and can’t wait for more❤
Aw, that's so sweet! Thank you for watching!
Continue!! There’s so much left to discover and so much story left to be learned, this game truly captures your heart the deeper you get into the plot and what it has to offer! Happy playing :)
This was fun! Hope you do continue it
It doesn’t actually matter if your animals get out.
I'm only watch until day 35, and I stop to tell you that I enjoy this video so much! So cozy n you narate it so well.
Ok, I'll continue watching.
saw this in my recommended and I'm so glad I clicked! It's so fun getting to see someone completely new to stardew experience it. Also, if you look by the bulletin board outside Pierre's shop, there is a calendar that will tell you birthdays/festivals. I think you're able to buy one from Robin to put in your house too :)
i love this! my first farm is still my favorite play through of this game, and your play through reminds me of it :)
not you casually had the red cabbage seed on the first weekly travel cart... i dont have the zords, have fun ! keep going !
I don't think I saw/ heard you mention the TV at all, but maybe I missed it. But if not, watching the TV is helpful. You can learn what the weather will be like the next day, learn new recipes, and learn what mood the spirits are in (the spirits' mood affects your luck/ experience in the mines and such) ☺
I actually haven't used the TV, so that's a wonderful tip! Thank you!
I love the smash cuts to people who will insult you. Definitely earned a sub
I always love it when somebody discovers this game for the first time. Reminds me of my first time all the way back in the good times of 2016...
i loved this video, hope you continue the series it was so fun to watch!
Please keep playing! I had such a great time watching this while also playing stardew lol
I have watched sooo many Stardew valley play-throughs and this is easily in my top 3 favorites! 🥳🎉
I really hope you play through the rest of the game too 🤞😊
Thank you so much 😊 I'm definitely planning to play more Stardew ♥️
@@breezieseaz Yell Heah!! I'm definitely gonna have to subscribe now then 🤭👌
This was such a delightful video to watch. It’s not quite as enjoyable seeing people speed through a peaceful game. Please I would love to see you play more sdv. There is so much more to explore. You got a subscriber from me ❤🙂🙂
Was so fun watching you enjoy the game 😊❤
Scarecrows cover 8 titles in a circle around it. Meaning 8 tiles away on all four sides connected in a circle around it (very large area)
Gosh, I feel like you haven’t even scratched the surface! The best part about the game is that there’s no wrong way to play. Definitely continue!
hello, I don't think I've commented before... but I started watching your channel when you only had the 100 days of coral island and I fell in love with your style!
I watched the whole thing and i really enjoyed it i hope you continue this
Love this video please do another 100 days there still loads to see and do
This game is so vast and wonderful, there is so much to unlock and so much I haven't even seen yet (I have around 50 hours in just one of my four save files)
19:04 not you getting the red cabbage seed on the first week of your playthru 😫
However I really liked watching you play this, it’s nice seeing somebody play it with fresh eyes. I hope you upload another video playing SDV again!
I loved this! ❤ hope you continue to play
19:07 I wish she knew
Came here to see if anyone else noticed
What did I miss? 😅
Just put a fence on the grass starter to stop it from being eaten immediately
Loved the video by the way ❤
Just started the video already a little concerned about the favorite thing 😭 concernedape needs to change the wording
My first favorite thing was cats.
Now it's always vanilla cream or cherries.
What do you mean? *Looks it up* nevermind
Love this video and can't wait for the next instalment!
Really tempting me to download it again xD
I'm loving your video. I am half way through but I got to ask now before I forget, is Eggbert a reference to Buffy?
Okay now I've watched the whole thing and I'm down with watching more.
Tips: you can tap place chests outside the farm, a very helpful place is the entrance to the mine, you can put temporarily put stuff in there that you don't need in the mine or to empy to backpack while mining. You can also tap trees outside the farm. There is one place you did not explore: North west of the area where Marnie and the wizard are.
Thank you for all the tips! And I've never watched Buffy but I know what the show is - I had no idea there was a character named Eggbert in Buffy 😭
Oh yeah, you should be checking your TV almost everyday. The luck system and weather play a huge role in this game.
I hope you continue playing SDV and other games, you should also try like some mods, I would love to see your experience with the stardew expanded mod❤
It’s so cool to see someone play for the first time but I was screaaaaming for you to buy that red cabbage hahaha 😅
As someone with 1000 hours in the game, I love seeing the game through a new person's eyes again
Love this video!!
I'd love to see you play more of Stardew Valley.
i just started playing a couple days ago with no clue about what the game was or what it looked like and i love it it’s so cute so far
except i picked the farm that spawns monster cuz im dumb and didn’t know it would do that😢
Oh yeah and best tip is don’t take everything with you all the time. If you know you’re going to the mines, leave everything you don’t need in the chest before going. Then you will have much more space in your inventory. In short, don’t have all your tools on you all the time. Leave them in chests when you don’t need them.
Go into the room above Caroline’s kitchen and you’ll get a tea sapling witch are a all season crop and sell for 50g per leaf. And also make tea 🍵
So excited to watch this!! ❤
MORE PLEASE
Hearing you refer to Sebastian as “the emo kid” absolutely sent me LMAO
“Shane is still rude….. and he looks like a BUM” I DIED LAUGHING 😭 had to rewatch at least 3 times, too mf good
would love to see you play more stardew ❤
welcome to the valley!
Maybe I haven't read enough comments but there is a huge one I feel should be stated incase you didn't know: DO NOT give your first Prismatic Shard to the museum! I got on my first farm and had no idea it was a very rare item and gave it away. Save it for a surprise at the desert!
I'll be sure to hold onto that shard! Thanks for the heads up! 😁
you can use other furniture for fences! i like using lightning rods, decorations from the furniture catalogues, and tea saplings (recipe comes from 2 hearts with caroline) because they keep things contained while being useful/cute themselves! (:
Oh my gosh, that's such a clever idea! I'll definitely be trying that 😁
@ thanks! i def did not come up with it lol but it’s super useful and you can get creative!
PLEASE PLAY MORE!!! if you get shane to 8 hearts you unlock a blue chicken!
😲
I, I fellow bird owner, was also disappointed that you could not own a bird. However! If you marry Emily, her bird will move in, if you marry Abigail her hamster will move in and if you marry Sebastian you’ll get pet frogs.
If you want more from the adventurers guild, you should play Stardew valley expanded :)
The notification popped up, and I instantly clicked.
So fun to watch, hope you are enjoying it!
The moment I gasped when I saw the red cabbage seeds 😮
Not too crazy of a tip but if you click on the 9 things you submitted to the fair you can get them back! Also Sebastian loves frozen tears which I don’t think are used for anything else
Amazing video tho I’ve been looking for people playing for the first time it’s so refreshing and entertaining:)
So nice seeing someone who feels how i feel about the villagers Iike their all flawed yeah but i dont hate anyone, though clint needs to re-evaluate his life a bit(even if it did happen it wont fix it bro)
Hi, I just wanted to say that Linus chose to live as a homeless man. Also, please continue.
100 more days pls
02:05:30 the same thing happened to me. I have been playing stardew valley since 2018, ouch.
