If that fact offends any of your brothers and sisters then go back to your country. There are foreign doctors, engineers and educators in SA no one is telling them to go anywhere. For instance Canada and Australia don't accept low skilled immigrants and they don't employ them. Why should South Africa accept them and employ them? Anyone can go to Harvard with the right marks u just apply . The problem is not going to Harvard but the fees . Top universities in US and Europe are fucken expensive . You will spend over 2 million for a 3 yr degree it's not cheap and that's one of the major problem . The barricade is money that's the true form of apartheid

Actually Harvard pays you to study at their university. Yes, you read that right. You don't pay to study at Harvard, they pay you. They have a financial aid program that pays for your studies and gives you a stipend if your family earns below a certain amount annually. Secondly, academics is not enough to study at Harvard. You must have also achieved exceptionally in sport, culture or serving your community in some way. For example maybe making SAs or being the captain of your school's basketball team. Or being head boy/head girl
Sazi Bongwe was head boy of St. John's College, he played first team basketball as well as first team soccer and first team rugby. Sazi was also good at cultural activities, he got full colours for drama. Sazi was also a champion debater and he came second in the South African English Olympiad. Sazi also started a platform called ukuzibuza that address societal issues.
You can't just be smart. That's not nearly enough to get into Harvard. You need to have achieved excellently in every other facet of school life. So if you're not captain of your rowing or debating team, don't even waste your time applying for Harvard
