I wish they gave Giselle longer rap lines or at least vocal lines or A FULL RAP VERSE but all of them slayed anyways and she got the killing part in illusion too.

My ult bias is winter but kinda feel like she doesn't need the rap verse? Plus her high note in the end kinda hurt my ears idk...the mv felt like sm's forcing her into our faces. I still really love her tho and it makes me sad to see people saying she's overated because of this comeback ;(

She truly deserves to have more high notes and lines because, of course, NINGNING debuted as the MAIN VOCALIST of the group and looking at some of their songs' line distribution, the amount of lines she's been getting at times isn't what a MAIN VOCALIST should be getting. Anyway, in a way, NINGNING still proves herself as a versatile soulful vocalist of the group. 😁
Her parts were just as difficult as Winter in this song 3:14 3:21 3:32 are all the same note The only thing I’d change is giving 3:32 part to NingNing but that is the exact same note change as Savage that she sings so maybe they didn’t want it to sound too similar and gave it to Winter

Yeah I wish the same because they've all had their fair share. For most of the songs but mostly the title tracks/comebacks/singles/MVs, Giselle gets the least amount of lines (I know it's obvious and it happens a lot in Kpop but it's not right, not just for Aespa but for any girl/boy group). Ningning comes first in Black Mamba and Dreams Come True, Karina in Next Level, and Winter in Forever, Life's Too Short and now Girls. She really shined with her gorgeous visuals and powerful, cutting raps but hopefully Giselle gets her fair share cause it's well deserved.

The first one that got inside my mind when hearing this is Step Back, especially the intro. For the camera movements, the dragon on the wall is Kick It. Nonetheless, this comeback is too strong for me to handle, especially the dance break. *Just wow,* made my heart go insane. Can't wait for the b-side songs to be requested.
I really hate that Giselle is not only a great rapper but also a beautiful vocalist and yet they limit her potential. She still ate this concept up!! Karina slaying everything this comeback. Visuals, Vocals, Rapping and Dancing. NingNing giving us everything and more with her angelic vocals. Winter is shining so brightly and her high note ??? Woah These girls are so talented.

They could have given Winter's small rap part to Giselle, like Giselle would just have continued her rap with Karina like in Next Level And the big high note should have been given to Ningning. That's all It would've been more fair, Winter would have around 55 seconds instead of 65

i think winter having lots of vocal parts makes sense. Her vocal ability is not that far behind ningning. Ningning has also been main vocal in other songs. Maybe this time, SM tried to switch up since winter is most fitting in the song.

No es por nada, pero las notas altas de Ningning en vivo se escuchaban súper temblorosas e inestables, en cambio Winter lo hizo súper bien, logrando cada nota alta. Y esas son cosas que se toman en cuanta al momento de dar notas altas.

If Giselle got all of the rap verses and if SM gave these parts ( 2:10 ) ( 3:07 ) from winter to karina NINGNING 53.1s (MAIN VOCAL) WINTER 52.7s (LEAD VOCAL) GISELLE 49.3s (MAIN RAPPER) KARINA 39.4s (LEAD RAPPER) It would be a fairer line distribution Because Karina got most of the dance break and winter got part of it, and it would not be too much for winter because the rap verses would be all giselle's parts
Karina didn't get any solo dance break, she shares it with winter for the first part of the dance break even when she's the main dancer. Though I do agree giselle should get another rap parts
but Karina is vocalist and rapper so she’s about always be third i think, cause she will get more vocal parts than giselle due to her better technique and unique vocals + rap. and as main dancer she had nothing here cuz she is with winter. she is third for line distrb and last for screen time. karina as an all rounder of the group center and fotg deserves more.
I think SM is trying to switch the main vocalist and lead vocalist positions. Why the hell is Winter singing more parts and getting high notes than Ning Ning? It's not just this song. SM has been doing it for all of their title songs. It doesn't make sense.
@@little_tiger_. I wouldn't say the difference between them is big. Ning Ning can produce open notes and her coordination is better than Winter. Plus, Winter's tone is really light so her high notes are really piercing which is not pleasant to the ears.

I have some problems with the title track. I think Winter didn't need some of her lines. Like the rap part could have been given to Giselle and that last chorus to Ningning (or maybe Ningning should've gotten the high note and Winter still sings for the last chorus). Other than that I loved to see Karina getting vocal lines because she arguably is better than some groups main vocalist.
okay, but putting Winter after Giselle in rap verse, the producer did a big mistake. their rap tone was just too different. In Savage, I could accept it as Winter rap line doesnt need hard approach, so she slayed her part. But in Girls, no she aint nailling it. these rap ver was totally only Giselle and Karina can nailed it. ningning probaly can because her vocal is more to powerful but winter, her tone is more to soft but powerful.

E sim, NingNing melhor vocalista do grupo e apesar de gostar muito da Winter aquela high note dela ficou horrivel mas nem os coreanos e nem a SM aceitam dar esse espaço da winter para um extrangeiro.

i love how consistent their line distribution are (for title track) but Giselle being always this low and having 1/4 her lines as adlibs is not something i want, sm could've given her all the rap part in the second verse, splitting it wouldn't be so ideal since "first raps take atleast just 5-15 seconds because of how fast it is", second splitting rap parts would confuse listeners since the raps are connected but different ppl sang it, third giselle is the main rapper, i understand if they want to give winter rap part but isn't one just enough? you dont need to give her 2-3 rap parts, a center dance break, a highnote and a chorus, shes being overworked omg. Well as for Karina her rapping parts are acceptable since her lines we're almost the same as giselle (full of adlibs too)

despite her short lines Giselle manages as usual to give an iconic side to the song and to kill everything! I would like her vocals to be highlighted because she is also an excellent singer. Ningning I have nothing more to say, she is so versatile and devoid of presence at all levels. She should be the center. Ok Let's be honest to ourselves...(NO HATING) This song is going really hard but there are some things needs to be fixed : Winter is always the one singing too much in the title-tracks and should give more to the others members( she's beautiful and kind and at least have talent but she's not the main vocalist, it is *Ningning* ). Since the first two chorus it's all ok BEcause it's equally give 25 secs to each member but after the chorus final... There it comes Winter and Ningning's high note.... BUT SM needs to understand the meaning of *equal* lines and screen times.. SM make æspa really dirty tho, also if their songs really SLAYYY. Anyways the vocals, rap, dances but especially the chorus are *FIRE*. (Karina needs more vocals lines tho)

As amazing as the song is, its highly unfair how big the line disttribution gap is for Giselle. I would understand it if she couldn't sing, but SHE CAN! So I don't get why SM insists she gets no substantial vocal lines or gives away raps. Like in Girls, where Winter has well over 50 seconds of strong vocal lines, but still gets solo and duo rap parts? I love Winter but I feel like she didn't need it. But, SM wont even give a part of a chorus/bridge to Giselle? Not to mention, she still has not topped a line distribution in Title Tracks/Promotional tracks. For Example: Song's and their toppers: NingNing: Black Mamba, Dreams Come True Karina: Next Level Winter:Life's Too Short, Illusion, Forever, Savage and now Girls Giselle: N/A Not to mention, she is never in the fore-front for ANY dancebreaks (which I can understand, considering dance is not her strongest point) and has the lowest total screentime (for TT's and promotional tracks) out of all of them. And In this album, she was the ONLY member who was not first in any of the songs. Its starting to get repetitve and annoying. SM needs to treat them like a 4 member group instead of 3

This comeback definitely left something to be desired, I don't feel like there was enough of a punch in the song, and there were not enough of Ningning's high notes. I do like Karina having more vocal lines, I really enjoy her tonality.
For me this is one of their best title tracks Black mamba is undefeated for me but this is a close second The vocals and rap slayed The chills I got I was never a fan of savage or next level but thankfully they grew on me but this one I liked from first listen like black mamba So proud of aespa I didn't even notice Giselle got the least lines. Just remember that not all main vocals can have the longest line distribution Not all main rappers can get all the rap line and not all main dancers are always on the center doing all the break dance. If u don't have those position it doesn't mean that u can't do the things that the mains can do.

Yeah I wish the same because they've all had their fair share. For most of the songs but mostly the title tracks/comebacks/singles/MVs, Giselle gets the least amount of lines (I know it's obvious and it happens a lot in Kpop but it's not right, not just for Aespa but for any girl/boy group). Ningning comes first in Black Mamba and Dreams Come True, Karina in Next Level, and Winter in Forever, Life's Too Short and now Girls. She really shined with her gorgeous visuals and powerful, cutting raps but hopefully Giselle gets her fair share cause it's well deserved.

Ok Let's be honest to ourselves...(NO HATING) This song is going really hard but there are some things needs to be fixed : Winter is always the one singing too much in the title-tracks and should give more to the others members( she's beautiful and kind and at least have talent but she's not the main vocalist, it is *Ningning* ). The main vocal is supposed to singing the high notes that’s why everyone saying that! As amazing as the song is, its highly unfair how big the line disttribution gap is for Giselle. I would understand it if she couldn't sing, but SHE CAN! So I don't get why SM insists she gets no substantial vocal lines or gives away raps.
Like in Girls, where Winter has well over 50 seconds of strong vocal lines, but still gets solo and duo rap parts? I love Winter but I feel like she didn't need it. But, SM wont even give a part of a chorus/bridge to Giselle? Not to mention, she still has not topped a line distribution in Title Tracks/Promotional tracks.

Ning as the main vocal gets less high notes and lines than her ever since Savage era, Giselle gives her rap part to others since NL, and Karina, I'm pretty sure most people would agree that she is the core of the group, also gets less. I hope WINTER'S FANS will realize this fact, even though she doesn't ask for it, she benefits from it.

I don't like how they give parts of the most impactful raps to winter and leave the more "normal" raps to Giselle, it should be the other way around since winter shines in several other highlights
This comeback definitely left something to be desired, I don't feel like there was enough of a punch in the song, and there were not enough of Ningning's high notes. I do like Karina having more vocal lines, I really enjoy her tonality.
