Then maybe I don’t understand lotto Miner I thought they just took guesses at the block before the block was solved so I would assume having seven individual minor versus one made more sense? With these you’re not actually trying to mind bitcoin you’re just trying to get that lucky number right
@ because the probability to found a block is directly linked to the hash power . 10x1Th/s will give you the exact same probability than 1x10Ths. So if you want to solo mine, you have to choose what amount of electricity power you can dedicate to mining, and how many money. Then you have to choose the best combination to maximize the hash power for the cost and the electric power. That is why there is many devices with different hash power, efficiency, cost, etc 🙂
@@williamsmallwood8846 The only benefit I see in having many smaller miners instead of one big miner is if one burns out, you can continue mining with the rest otherwise shirokuma3216 is correct.
Hello, so that one Unfortunately, Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM does not work with lv08, the lv08 overheats with the fan it has too little air pressure, do you have an idea for another fan up to revolutions per minute
I tore down mine and repasted it using Gelid extreme thermal paste. It is running on 600mhz, 1275v, Celcius Asic temperature, and 60-voltage regulator temperature. The manufacturer used cheap thermal paste, but I think the new paste helps lower the temperature.
Between this one and the Avalon Nano 3, which one do you keep? This one is a little more expensive, but I'm more concerned about reliability than price.
I definitely keep the lv08. The nano is great but only if you keep it in low or medium power mode. In high power mode, it will burn under a year due to the choice of usb-c connector and a not so good design in the psu stage. (A vrm becomes very hot). I will post a mod video soon , i`ve done some 3d design and test this afternoon 😈
@@shirokuma3216 I got mine today. Can you send me the case for the new, bigger fan? I live in Asia, where temperatures, humidity, and moisture are high. I need to touch the fan 100%, but it is loud. I hope there will be a 3d printed case where we can put 120mm fan. Thanks!
@ i think 120mm isn’t enough, or with higher speed. I just have some adjustments to make on the prototype, then I’ll give the link to download it. I do it with a 140mm base.
@@shirokuma3216 thank you! I had 120mm but 3k RPM, I have many of those since I used it when I was GPU mining. :) Waiting for your prototype to be tested. The 140mm fan will be much better. :)

great video. you've gained a subscriber
Nice. Have on coming.
Interesting video, thank you for make it!

I dont understand the lotto miners. why get one like this vs 8 of the smaller ones.
Because of the price per th/s
You can’t have 8 for 200$

Yes i’m doing some test with a 140mm fan, with a 3d printed custom adapter. A new video is to come, this week hopefuly

Good working

I have two LV08 and i dont see anywhere on the unit about firmware any idea how to update the firmware or in the future update the firmware?
The UI seems the same than the bitaxe. For the moment , I don’t think there is any update. But we will have a tutorial at this time. I think
