Yay you got The Gods Lie 🤩! I really hope you’ll enjoy it! It was a blind buy for me (because the cover is GORGEOUS) but I’m so happy I picked it up! Easily one of best things I’ve read this year. I love how Dai Dark is so cute, even at its most gruesome 😅😂. I loved the Demon Slayer movie 🙌🏾💖 and Rengoku is BEST BOI 💯! Can’t wait for the new season!
As an old-time comic collector, it's so nice to see people looking forward to reading their books, to be excited about the story and characters. Comics these days are pure speculation plays and grades, closer to trading cards than books... Which is why I'm switching to manga. Great video :)
I usually use my notes on my phone to log manga I read and what I buy. This was a great video also and you read some good stuff in April! I'm excited to see what other videos you will have :)
That's a good idea, I need to start using my phone to log stuff instead of my laptop because half the time I don't want to get up and turn on the laptop to keep track haha :)
Volume 3 of toilet bound is where i believe it starts to take off, I just finished it a week ago and I am now reading the 4th volume. They introduce some other characters who really help drive that plot further.
I loved the Demon Slayer movie! And as far as the anime, I wish they could go on for a good while, but I believe the manga wraps up at 23 volumes, and if they keep going at the pace they were, it probably won't go on beyond 2 or 3 seasons. 😔 I would've watched 700 episodes of it too though. 😂
Yeah I didn't know if they were going to stop at 23 volumes, or if that was just what they were including in the manga box set. I haven't read the manga, so I am interested to see how they are going to wrap up all of the story lines in one maybe two more seasons haha
as a TBHK reader (I’ve read 1-8) the character development starts out a little slow but in my opinion I think it gets better and the story gets more interesting :) I think it’s definitely worth continuing!
Thanks for letting me know, it does seem like the story is starting to develop a bit more in volume three! I will for sure keep reading and hopefully will find volume four out in the wild sooner rather than later haha :)

Sadly, that is what I noticed with volumes from this series. They rarely seem to re-stock and when they do they sell out super fast :(
