I don’t think I have many series I regret buying, but I can see people buying random manga they regret buying later.
Yeah, those manga impulse buys can be dangerous haha
This video reminded me i need to do some spring cleaning haha ,, regarding black butler i thought the anime was okay but my best friend loves the manga ,, all i know is it gets really dark but personally it's not anything that i felt compelled to read after watching the anime ,, and yes go for the bakuman boxset! i think some of the singles are getting harder to get so it might be difficult to piece it together later
Yeah the Bakuman box set looks like the move for me, I'm not the type of manga reader that super enjoys "the hunt" for hard to find volumes haha Hmm that is good to know about Black Butler, it seems like a series that you either really like, or just aren't into. I'll put it on my to watch list and see if the anime pulls me back into the series :)

Getting help from a sibling when you get stuck in a game is TOO relatable 😂😅. The Black Butler anime was pretty good for the first season, but I never made it past the second. I don’t even remember the plot; teenage me was there for the soft goth aesthetic 🤗. THE HAIKYU!! FIGURES AND HAMTARO PLUSH 😩🙌🏾💖!
When in doubt, I would call in my brother for help getting past even the smallest issue in a game haha Oh and I don't remember the plot at all either for Black Butler and think I picked it up solely for Sebastian on the covers lmao
Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) gets really interesting in the following volumes, the story is dark and full of mysteries. If you want to watch the anime, I recommend you to watch a few first chapters of the first season of the anime (because the rest is just filler for the anime, not really good), then watch Kuroshitsuji Book of circus (this follow the manga), and finally, the movie which is extremely good, one of the best arcs of the manga

i think for black butler is maybe try the anime to see the characters come to life more. the only problem is season 2 and most of season 1 is anime original. there are websites saying which order to watch to help understand the story better !

I just recently started manga collecting only manga series I regret buying is 3 volumes of komi san it just wasn't for me tbh
I've had that happen to me too, I have bought a few volumes of a series I thought I would like and then end up not enjoying it haha
i dont reccomend buying bakuman, its one of those ''read only once'' type of series, its an online read for sure, its good but very text heavy, which makes it in my opinion very hard to revisit, and once you know where it leads there is no point of revisiting it, its one those series that ends when the couple kiss, literally thats the last page, so you go back to it and its like ''oh mike and sarah on date 4 they start dating at date 6'' or ''look steve on his third manga attempt, his seventh one goes viral''. On the flip side there is a volume with all the manga that the characters wrote which i find extremely revisitable, you remember what the characters were going through when they were writting those mangas.
My shelf is completely full- i have had to take out books and stack them on my desk because I have no space. I have packages I have not even open because I am have no where to store them- luckily i am getting a new shelf in a few weeks
Sounds like the new bookshelf will come in handy! haha I sadly don't have space for another shelf, so I need to make do with what I have now. Hopefully you will be able to fit all your books on the new shelf :)
The only manga I've gotten rid of was the first 12 volumes of Ranma 1/2. I don't understand my mental process when I started collecting them seeing as I never did like the anime. But at least I geve it a try
Haha yes at least you gave the series another chance! Sometimes there is a huge difference between the manga and the anime, so it's worth checking out both :)

My first unhaul was kingdom hearts, Dnangel fuck that series, nodame contabile i dont understand why i bought it, a music manga makes no sense
I’ve already finished the Death Note anime, but not tokyo ghoul’s anime. I’m having hard time deciding whether to get Death note or Tokyo ghoul box set :’)

What a great problem to have! Haha I've never seen or read Tokyo Ghoul, so personally I would lean towards Death Note, but it really is up to you :) You could always leave it to chance and choose whatever one comes back in stock first haha
I’m pretty new to the Manga community so I don’t really have many titles I regret. I’m from Germany and I recently got a “manga” called “the grown up game” and I didn’t knew that it was from a German author and I’m so sorry but it was horrible. I also think the “Manga” is for younger children because the romance and comedy was literally soo bad 😬😬
Welcome to the manga community! :) Oh yeah that doesn't seem like the best pick up, but that happens to everyone eventually haha
will you be selling the manga ?
I think I will try to sell the manga to local shops first, but if they don't buy used manga then I will sell the manga online :)
