You probably would've done a little better throttling it on him. He's used to being the aggressor. And I noticed how much he led with that mid front kick. He wasn't much on reading low attacks as well. It's a lot of ways you could've popped him. But, it is what it is, you learn from your holes in your game and incorporate the adjustments. You can only get better from here. Still great fights. And you've gained a new follower.

Tekken fighting has this big serious flaw where you can get beaten on the ground while bouncing like a tennis ball. You're basically helpless in this situation against opponents who know how to take advantage. You can basically throw someone in air and have fun. There should be some sort of defense in the air.
I also used to think combo breaking would be a healthy feature in Tekken but what you see as an opponent having fun isn't easy to learn in order to string those combos together reliably against an actual player it takes a lot of getting bodied and learning when the right time to go for it is they're risk/reward style attacks that give big damage for the ability to be consistent and know when the opponent is open

chars you dont wanna meet on demotion: Hwoarang, Dragunov, Paul, King, Akuma, Eliza, Law, Eddy, Devil jin, jin, heihachi, nina, . they all have One thing in common: long distance moves that are absolutely safe, and does not require much timing at all. thus keeping the opponent from attacking and dictate the match as soon as they have more health by smallest integer.
Every time I fight legendary players I either win or give them a scare. I’m on an 11 fight win streak in ranked match lol. Saw this dudes Bryan wreck speedkicks though. He didn’t win a single round😭
GG man but if i were you, i would have at least tried to get one round out of it. You have the potential for it, for example you could have tried to block that running kick of him since he hit you with that attack several times. But that was some fancy fighting, you're pretty good.
The one thing I don't like is that it feels too easy for someone to lose when they are in the air, on the ground, or have their back to the wall. Aside from that the fights looks good.
I use my index finger and middle finger to play Tekken... I find it suitable to stop missing timing when I have to press two buttons at once. for example, instead of having to press Triangle and Square for a combination move with only my thumb, I use my index and middle to play the game.
