The narcissist's relentless pursuit of validation and admiration stems from a desperate need to fill the void within themselves. But tragically, their quest for self-worth often leads them down a path of manipulation, emotional abuse, and betrayal.
The narcissist's insatiable hunger for attention and control blinds them to the emotional well-being of those around them. Their inability to truly empathize and connect with others leaves a trail of broken relationships and shattered trust. They exploit vulnerabilities, belittle achievements, and gaslight with calculated precision, leaving their victims questioning their own worth and sanity.
To stay vigilant and aware in the face of a narcissist's destructive tendencies, we must first recognize and validate our own emotions and experiences. My ex is a covert narcissist I believe, or a dark triad. I can't tell.
She does talk about herself way to much, I feel as if I was her therapist for 10 years lol
She is very patient and calculating and she can mimic empathy when she wants to, and then be very calus which I believe is a dark triad.
She does devalue and gaslight, but calculated, she does not send a lot of txts, but she will make up an excuse to txt and reach out. She never ghosts though!
I do see her mirror me a lot, now that I know what mirroring is.
She is a surgeon so she definitely has that pride and holds up a façade.
I have never heard "dark triad" before. Please elaborate on it.

it's a Narcissism ,sociopathy, and Machiavellianism all in one.
From what I understand they are a lot more calculating, they have a lot more patience than just the narcissist, they don't go into narcissistic rage,they can fake empathy even though they have none, and they very Calais in certain situations.
They know how to keep a job and move up the latter fast, fooling everyone.
My ex is a surgeon that knows how to climb up the corporate latter very fast.
We were married For 10 years, she gaslights very subtle, passive aggressive comments that make you think how insulting those comments were the next day. And great at subtly putting people down to make her feel superior.
Once I stopped listening to my ex's words and started paying attention to her actions.... 😳! She had me fooled for a very long time.
I filed for divorce in December 2022, we got nowhere in 9 months except a lot of lawyer bills

I used to send a lot of long paragraphs apologizing for things she accused me of doing that I didn’t do.
Then she’d call me crazy for sending paragraphs lol.
I didn’t know narcissistic abuse was a thing til like a month after I blocked her

@@IRONFIST-oo8yh Yea that’s the way it goes. I never felt like I was catering to her, but I was definitely walking on eggshells.
It was in constant self inspection mode trying to make sense of the things she was accusing me of. I was trying to be understanding but she pushed that to its absolute limit lol.
It took me about 3 months after she discarded me to finally recognize that I didn’t do anything she said I did.
I’ve had relationships end on bad terms but I was always able to make sense of both sides of the equation, but with her there was no making sense of it because there was no sense to be made.
We learned an important lesson in self respect by dealing with these people.

My ex was good at txting back, she love bombed a little at the beginning, but more so when she was at conferences and couldn't talk, I would get "I live you and our daughter soooo much, you are my hero for raising our daughter on your own" I wish I could be they right now.
But she gaslights a lot when I set a boundary.
Then she will ask if me and the daughter will come over and swim.... ummmm no 😂

My husband talks to everyone else on the phone except for me, but he'll text me yo see where I am. Once I tell him.. he ignores me. And he does use other apps to talk to other women. Also.. he is constantly taking pictures of himself but will never ask to take a photo with me.

I get those gifs good morning my love or he will tell me how I'm the love of his life etc and you nailed it, he would pacify me with call but had to call back bc something would come up, he does hide his sexting and selfies in an app that you think is a calculator, he has also pretends to be asleep, he denys denys n lies and I'll have the evidence when I ask just to see if he will lie or not and he lies everytime, he has such lame excuses or forgets his lies and tells on his self, his actions contradict his words....he is an online cheater mostly and claims it's not cheating, then claims he quits, so I am so dumb I automatically believe him, then catch him at his game again n again, the apps at the bottom has links for Twitter etc but also weather and maps...you can actually go to address anywhere in world and have ur texting partner go to same address then share and you can call, text, and video without showing in call logs, messages, etc also in apps like poker or drawing apps etc actually even roku has social ways to video chat etc undetected accept my Roku would spin like it lost connection for two weeks I couldn't figure out why until one day I thought he was also trying to figure out what was wrong with our Roku, he walked away from his phone and I picked it up and saw the conversation which meant he knew he was reason our t v would stop streaming and sitting next to me, sexting or whatever behind the Roku app...I have found out so many things not even trying for example, I read chat of telling females how beautiful and what he'd like to do and what hed like to do to them etc giving money and even let them know he had to work around me, spur of moment etc...told them I was just house share not in same bed etc that our relationship is complicated....and denying any of my suspicion prior to me seeing his begging for sex etc, no sex with me, lame lie justifications etc but insists he loves me and has never cheated on me and recently claimed he is a sex addict...yet no sex with love of his life...and wants sleezy easy risking me leaving....or whatever....he rages over something simple bc he assumes or jumps to defenses before even hearing what I was starting to say. Everything and anything is my fault like and like...." I wanted to have sex with you one day last week but you started picking me apart"..
Wow leave it to me to have such perfectl timing to gripe at him on the one day of the month that he thought of me instead of his websites, social apps, etc etc....
Very sneaky, never shares conversation or ideas, in the room but I'm always alone!!! I'm seeing more n more as time passes

@@RebeccaZungEsq dear Rebecca, my narcissistic wife floods you with text. This alone would have been a clear sign. Her daughter likes to eat. But her mother does not let her eat, always texting her crazy. But on the other hand I tell to my friend my marital duty is talking every day 1 minute to my wife on the telephone. This is enough. Then she is happy. She does not like to talk on the telephone, but always talks when we are outside with friends. Very good observation from you. You really know, what you are talking about. If you would play a narcissist, I certainly would think my wife is talking to me 🤭. Thank you for your profound and helpful videos. I know that not all narcissist have exactly the same traits, but with your videos you can certainly find your own case for sure. When I think about narcissists, I think of you as the best teacher for it. ❤️
