  • Author Douglas Murray has compared destroying 80 per cent of Hamsa to “putting out 80 per cent of a fire” and has warned they “cannot” be left intact in Rafah.
US President Joe Biden has urged Israel not to go ahead with such an operation over fears it would exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe in the Palestinian enclave.
Last week, Biden said the United States would not provide offensive weapons for a Rafah invasion, raising pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“My view is … you cannot destroy 80 per cent of Hamas; you cannot take them out of Gaza City, and you cannot take them out of a set of other towns and leave them intact in Rafah,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“All it means is like putting out 80 per cent of a fire.”

Every comment I've made asking Palestine supporters to condemn Hamas terrorists over the past 7 months has been met with fierce pushback; they defend rather than condemn. They are all Hamas, don't let Hamas take over the west
