Nice to see the seaside villages in the area mate. Yeah, mobile phones are great but also such a scourge on society these days. Playing in the sand never gets old. I love the little tidbits of history such as the Tolkien inspiration. It looks cold and miserable weather wise but obviously not by all the crowds out and about! 🤣
When you went in to Withernsea, there is the front half of a boat between the road and the sea. They put a bench in it. Been there for years but rotting now. Don't know if it's still there. There's also a church about 1 mile out to sea.
@@CalmBiker Two sisters built a church each. The churches became known as the Sister Kirkes. Got to the towers at Withernsea. Facing the sea, go left on the same side for a few feet. There is a plaque (15:37 next to the bin). Then keep going in the same direction, cross the road and go past the building. There is like a stone plaque (15:26 right side of the screen) with more info.
Maybe mobile phone ownership should be subject to passing an IQ test first in order to ascertain that the person understands the laws of safe and sensible usage of said device instead of stopping their car in an inappropriate place to use google.
Hehe! That would be good, though I have seen some intelligent people do silly things to use their phones. They seem to temporarily sap some people's IQ!
Nothing better than a seaside ride Richard.
It's a nice route and good to find a few new places!

It's not been too bad to be honest. Quite warm recently, though this was recorded a month ago when it was quite a few degrees warmer still.
A nice ride round.
Thanks!
Like the look of your new camera the CB500X looks very easy to chuck around perhaps a NX500X might suit me food for thought 😮
The camera is pretty good. The quality doesn't match the DSLR but it's the perfect size for the top box with a tripod. I'll say nothing about bikes 🤫😁
I had the SX70 a while back, & the predecessors SX60, all gone now, got a Sony RX10 Mkiv + 3 others, all Canons.😊
How did you find it? I've not used it anywhere as much as I should but seems pretty reasonable so far.
@@CalmBiker not great resolution when on max zoom

That bench is there still. Quite fun. Perhaps I should go and point my camera at it for a video. I didn't know about the church a mile out though! 😲

@@angelwarrior8013 I will definitely go and have a look for those. Thanks for the info!
