Was going to upgrade my forks and shocks but seen this video, my new Enduro 8 arrives next week. I have a 150/150 Mottera neo and now this. Complete opposites of each other and will be of use at any trail I ride. Thanks for the code Rob.
Honestly it's such an amazing underrated bike, it's got full 29s and a bosch motor and a big 750battery . handles very well, sturdy on the downhills and totally outclimbs all the other bikes in our group. I was lucky enough to get mine for£3250 with discounts @@cfralick100
This is a bike i have been interested in for quite some time, but there has been very little info on them - so I will be super interested to understand your opinions on how it rides Rob
Have you ever tested a Mondraker level? 180/170mm travel, Bosch CX, 357mm bottom bracket height, 455mm chainstays, 490mm (L) or 510mm (XL) reach, full 29", 1290mm (L) or 1310mm (XL) wheelbase and a very unusual head angle of 65° on this Suspension travel, which makes the bike very agile, even though it is a tank and you stand perfectly in the bike, it is extremely balanced and climbs fantastic. I think the bike would be something for you. I bought the Mondraker Level RR 2023 for €4999 and I am extremely satisfied.
Would be awesome to see a follow up review on this one Rob Keep up the good work👍🏼 I couldn't help myself and went out and got one at the back of watching your video absolute monster truck 💪🏼 love it !!
Over 3,500 miles on my Allmtn just come back from 2 weeks in the highlands followed by a week of rain in the lakes the 80nm PW-x3 is a beast and it's been %100 reliable which is more than I can say from my last 2 E-bikes (Spesh Kenevo motor failed twice water ingress) and a (Cube 140 HPC cracked frame after 670 miles) The Allmtn is rock solid compared and built for abuse.
For the front, I have the Magic Mary 2.4 in super-gravity soft and let me tell you it is a somewhat difficult tire to mount but had I known, I would have gone for the super trail casing is ultra soft. BTW, I run 5 psi less in the front for maneuverability.
Another great honest vid Rob, cheers. My ten cents worth... Do be aware of going for the bargain with high spec over what you really want out of a bike. These bikes are expensive even when there's a great 'deal' & just because it's got really high-end parts on it and is really good value for money doesn't necessarily mean it'll be a great bike (for you). I've had my Kenevo Expert for almost 4 years now, and even though it cost more than some other bikes I was looking at, I spent a bit more than I would have liked to but have not regretted it at all in the long run - I'm not saying the Kenevo is better than this - just better FOR ME. I used to change my bike every 2 or 3 years (before going 'E'), but this e-bike was twice as much (at least) than I would normally spend & I intend to ride it for a good few years more! Even though this Haibike is aimed at the same kind of rider as me, I don't think it would suit me. My 24 kilo Kenevo is still sometimes a lot to handle on the very steep techy tracks I ride down & wouldn't want any more weight - so it suits me. I think you spelled it out very well Rob, saying that it suited your riding (& describing your riding). In the past I put a lot of emphasis on how good a 'deal' it was (basically I loved Giants for this reason), I spoiled myself on my last 'acoustic' bike and went from a high spec Giant Reign to a mid-spec Trek Slash and WOW that Slash was just in a different league (for me & my riding style), so superior bike even with lower spec parts - lesson learned. Happy riding people :)!
Dude the Kenevo Expert 2020 is an insanely good bike. @RobRidesEMTB I would be interested in your comparison between the two since I know you are positive on the Kenevo Expert. I'm running an Avalanche rear coil, and will have an Avalanched ZEB with hybrid coil in my hands hopefully in the next few weeks. The bike is ~59lbs now with the Boxxer but I really only notice it when lifting up on the repair stand. Currently, the only thing that would get me to change bikes is a proven motor/gearbox combined (like Pinion if it ever gets glowing reviews) to get rid of the rear derailleur and cassette, along with a more powerful motor. Until then Kenevo Expert!
I wanted a Canyon Spectral ON, so I got one. It was a good price but mainly it has ended up being a great bike for me. Its a CF8 and its worth modding, doing some parts upgrades, but it works well like it is. Its versatile. Has way more capability than I do at this point in time. Buying a bike just because its marked way down, like you say, doesnt always work out.
Yeah, great bike & honest talk through. I own his little brother Allmtn 7. This one would not suit where I ride. But I do love the Ohlins. Can' t wait for testing vid...🎉 Bey, Roland. From Belgium 😊
Ha, that's not far off what I bought a 2022 NDuro6 this time last year. With the code it's even closer. I wish I could say I made the most of the extra year, but while I have had a few good rides, I have not really done it justice. It has put a smile on my face every ride, but sadly I have not ridden enough. Must do better next year!
The most important improvement to look for in my humble opinion is a crank torque sensor!!! The second most important thing regarding bikes theft I recently bought a Segway product and it has an AirTag Apple compatible. AirTag built onto the circuit board.!
Its pretty clear, there is a formula that works for E Mt bikes, with a few little changes here and there. So Many Makers jumping on the bandwagon and going for the cash, but this is good! It will or has, flooded the market and this will only get more so. Price should go down if there's too many bikes on showroom floors. In Europe especially it seems like there's a new E Mt bike maker every month, what will be the saturation point? (being the heaviest bike isnt much of a value) Low bb heidth, tends to suck hugely in rocks, doesnt take long to figure this out. Personally I dont buy small maker bikes, they might not be here in 2 years.
People buy bikes following brands and purely on looks. I got a niner wfo e9 and absolutely love it. Marmite looks but at the time spec and money were spot on. This is very similar and would be my choice if i wasnt already happy with mine.
I'd like to request you do a video on bikes that would be good as hunting bikes! Cover alot of ground, handle big hills, able to pull a small trailer, maybe 300lbs of weight
I picked up a Yamaha 7 Demo for $5200 Cdn. Better spec than my 2019 Trek that cost $6500 Looking forward to seeing how the Yamaha DU holds up since I am on my 5th Bosch DU and, I had to replace the frame Not a fan of the Yamaha controls/display but it is very functional. Don't forget: 3 YEAR warranty on the Yammy DU
I'm still happy with the £7.5k Rocky Powerplay I bought at the start of 2022 but have to admit the value of e-bikes being sold off towards the end of this year has surprised me. Everyone says Vitus are great value, but to be honest any e-bike around the £4k price is every bit as good as the £8k bikes from 2022.
i bought the nduro 6 back in feb at 5500. seeing this over a grand cheaper now is rather annoying but inevitable at end of season 😳 it is a beast though. hope you enjoy it.
Hello Rob ..l'm about to Order a Nicolai Eboxx with manual change Rohloff and belt drive .like you I do like a big long stable bike for climbing big rock slabs and punching it through rock gardens. Currently have a 2020 XL aluminium frame Levo. In theory I am a size large but I do like the XL levo. All my other Emtbs are L including a Trek Fuel EXe which I love to ride by myself for the light feeling but it lacks range like all SL bikes. I also find the heavy Levo really works for me as I'm nearly back to my birth weight at 63kg but 69years old and really enjoying the "magic of Emtbs that turn us back into gleeful kids again. Do you think the Large Nicolai will be similar to the XL levo as it is really raked out and long in the frame design? E=Mtb²
Rob, just like yourself, I have been fortunate enough to be able to buy one of those bikes. Because of your video I wasn't able to get the code I'm afraid, but got myself a medium bike As I'm only 5'7 I have my own TH-cam channel so I think it would be good for that too. Want to do snow than spring as well. Thanks Rob for the headset. I appreciate your work 👍🏽👍🏽👊🏽
Best feature of this bike is the: battery falling off. Source: me. I own one and a town full of duck tape and velcro straps because they + Cube are very popular where I'm living.
I am a fan of dual crown forks one bikes! Can do everything! Xc and traiks are a tad harder but who cares! I made my kenevo expert 200front and 187 rear travel! I love it! Who cares about weight! It’s about fun!
I bought the Nduro 6 in the summer as I had been looking at the Allmountain but didn't like the colour so I wasn't in the market for a more expensive bike. This looks like a good bike at a good price but at least I had the use of it during the summer and Autumn,
That's a good price Rob. I'm a bit surprised there haven't been more substantial and widespread e-bike Black Friday discounts. Have you still got the Canyon Strive:ON?
It is great time to buy a bike price wise , but if like me I bought a new levo 17 months ago at a silly price , luckily I got a good discount and a very good part exchange price on my cube stereo 160 action team , so it only cost me £2750 to change. For a 7k bike , however now it is really worthless certainly can’t see my dealer taking part x’s any more as todays price is between £4400 and £5000 , and the market is pretty full of used bikes to try and sell, was hanging out to see what the next gen levo is gonna be like , so far with 1600 miles on the clock my bike has been faultless, no issues what so ever so I don’t need a new bike but you can’t beat a new bike day 😊. For those looking for a new bike now is a great time , now the prices are more realistic, and definitely got a huge choice . Btw that haibike looks awesome , my wife’s first ebike was a haibike and the Yamaha motor was brilliant, powerful and very quite , it gave my Bosch on the cube a good run
How can you have that sat there and not ride it😀 can't wait to see a proper review. Really tempted to get one of these beasts. Full weight, full travel ebike for me, keep the lightweight for an analogue bike.
i have one of the first comes out of this Bike and ....i love it !!! only canch the color in the 2025 version and the 2.6 in a 2.8 weel + sram AXS 🙂 nice video! cheers ....
That would be my dream as a 2nd bike together witch one more lightweight just for commuting and everyday riding and now this for just doing all the crazy stuff. Totaly agree on your point with longer chainstays with such a bike its never going to be an agil and playful one
@rRobRidesEMTB are you going to do a video about riding this? I got the NDURO 7 cheap back in July and its a beast of a ride, I especially love the weight because it stabilizes it so well. Come on ride and tell please.
That's what I heard from my neighbor too. Apparently Specialized bought back the bike because the motors and batteries weren't working right. He had a long conversation with one of the specialized tech and the tech basically said that their own ebikes are garbage.
I have also been interested in this bike for quite some time, and the price is awesome. I would put aside the weight, but that low bottom bracket height is the only thing that puts me off buying it, although specs wise you don’t have to change anything...and I thought it came with the basic Deemax wheels, not the S version which is the most appropriate. Anyways, awesome bike and I am curious how this bike rides! Cheers!
Yes spec is great - the wheels are definitely ‘S’ - although it doesn’t mention that in the spec. I have the Non-S also on another bike. Low BB could be increased slightly with 200mm air spring 😃😃
Yeah prices have been pretty good. I managed to pick up a baseline altitude powerplay for $1899 off so only $6k Canadian. Still not budget but well into the tolerable price range for me.
When are we going to see the video of it being ridden? Is there a bottle mount available for these as I can't see any mounting hardware. Carrying a backpack sucks.
At that weight I’m assuming it’s not carbon? I’ve had really bad experiences and customer service from haibike with a snapped frame from them and zero customer support and ended up just having to sell the bike for parts, they refused to warranty it or sell me a replacement frame so I lost around 3k. Never buy carbon or haibike again because of it
Thinking of fitting pinnd 145mm cranks - anyone fitted shorter cranks? Any thoughts? Already changed to a Renthal stem and 40mm rise bar which improved the ride in my eyes 100%
Great specification no doubt but 27kg is a step backwards really, unless you plan to do some really demanding DH it's massively "over biked".... I've recently lost 13kg so not wanting to gain it back via a bloated bike lol...Wonder how much the similarly discounted AllMtn 10 weighs in at?
Can’t wait till the first one bring out a real…I mean a real Light E DH Bike…with Fazua or TQ…some Session TQ version would be…Nuts 😄. Just to be a shuttle. I would directly hammer the buy button 😎
I was also thinking about buying this bike and changing the suspension fork to a single crown or buying the NDuro 7. The color, features and dampers on the NDuro 8 are better, which is why it would have been worth replacing the suspension fork. However, I decided on the Mondraker Level RR 2023 because the frame size L with 490mm reach fits me perfectly (187cm) and on the Haibike size L would have been too small and size XL would have been too big. In addition, the geometry of the Mondraker is not that extreme, which is why it is much more suitable as a bike park-ready enduro bike than the Haibike NDuro. The flat steering angle and extremely long wheelbase would not be an advantage on trails. And I liked the Bosch motor in the Mondraker level better. I bought the Mondraker Level RR 2023 for €4999 in Germany. The RRP was €7299.
@@kingflynxi9420 I do not think so. The NDuro in XL has 510mm reach and 663mm effective top tube length and 35mm stem. My Mondraker has 490mm reach and 647mm effective top tube length and 30mm stem and 20mm rise handlebars. My Mondraker fits perfectly in size, but I installed a 45mm stem with a 6° rise and a 40mm rise handlebar and pushed the saddle relatively far forward so that the sitting position is about the same in length as before, but the position in stand a little more stretched. Thanks to the head angle, I have 1.1cm more reach and 1cm more stack with the 45mm 6° stem (+20mm more stack through the handlebars). With all of these changes to the Mondraker, the Haibike's riding position would still be a little longer and the standing reach would be about the same if I had installed a 30mm stem on the Haibike. However, the Haibike in XL has a wheelbase of 1339mm!! and the Mondraker only 1290mm. In addition, steering on the Haibike would be slower than on the Mondraker due to the flat 63.5° steering angle. The Mondraker only has a 65° steering angle. The chainstays are 455mm on the Mondraker and 460mm on the Haibike, so that doesn't make too much of a difference. The Mondraker is really the perfect size for me. It shouldn't be bigger, but it shouldn't be smaller either. The bike really has great geometry. It would definitely work very well with a 190mm ZEB Ultimate, then the steering angle would be approx. 64.5° with the same SAG.
@@kingflynxi9420i thought they were big i usually go for a large but got measured up for enduro 8 and ended up getting a medium perfect size for me and i’m 5’11
@andypowers3283 maybe the nduro is different, my allmtn cf9 is a large and it definitely feels nippy. Could also be down to the ratio of front centre to rear centre?
Do you think this could be my all in one bike or is it too downhill focused, I’ve been waiting on the vitus e sommet 297 vrx (minty)to come back into stock at a similar price point. This will be my first e bike after several years on my gt force carbon (sorry to see her go but showing it’s age now)
I ordered a Focus Jam2 7.9 last Friday for 3.600 Euro. The Nduro 7 was available for around 4.500 Euro and a Giant Reign E+1 (750 Battery) for 4.700 Euro. Now I have to find a Buyer for my Haibike Allmtn 3.5... Good time to buy a new bike, bad time to sell a used bike 😂
I have nothing against Haibike, I mostly like what they're doing. But I would never own one, just because I think the frames often look awful. Sure, it's a matter of taste, but I always think of a camels hump when looking at the toptube. The Lyke is a step in the right direction tho!
If I went down to 27.5 wheels what do you think the widest tyres do you think I could fit… I’ve just come off a fatty and if possible my aim would be just over 3 in
Not quite to your budget 😢 but I agree prices are getting better. Just ordered an allmtn 3 with Bosch gen4 and obviously cheaper shocks, gears etc but £2899 is a bargain. A year and a half ago I got a hard nine for £2599 so £300 has got me a gen 4 and full suspension. Also seems the frame geometry isn't that much different, so for any non pro that doesn't base jump with their bike do they need the more expensive components?
Mtb Bike prices have gone crazy especially when you can pick a 2023 Honda crf450 for £9000 And you’ve got yeti and the like wanting £11k for an ebike! It’s crazy money
Hi Rob im about to get one, considering L or M size with 1.72 but looking for long tours n trails rather than downhill courses. You think ill have more space n comfort in a sporty position with size L?
So if this would hold you going down hill through rocks and roots, would it hold me on regular asphalt? I'm slightly taller than you but much, much heavier. Like 200 kg or thereabouts.
4500 for a bike is still too much… I think the ridiculous pricing of bike parts is unjustified, the ebike craze is over instantly when you look at the price sticker, regardless of how nice it is. I don’t pity the manufacturers for reduced sales, considering how they gouged the cyclers in the last decade or so. I hope they go belly up.😡
tempting... shame about colour and general haibike design. plus as someone else eluded to in the comments, just because its got some nice components doesn't actually mean its good value, and i know i'd just end up swapping out so much of it, hence costing me ££££
hi i have this bike it’s superb can i ask if i just bought the watch you have is that all i need to tell me the battery percentage and the mileage cheers
@@RobRidesEMTB I ended up buying the bike and am blown away. My last "good" bike was from maybe 2002. This feels like jumping from an oldtimer into a McLaren P1. My one gripe would definitely be the Interface X and that Yamaha still has not managed to bring a solution to the problem that iOS users cannot connect to the thing at all. The fact that you need another third party device like a Sigma computer is absolutely ridiculous. If you have a good relationship to Yamaha/Haibike or any stakeholder to the interface please be loud :)
I’ve still have my haibike allmtn 7 ,and love it to bits .Sometimes you find me at glentress ploughing down the hill sides .

I bought the Nduro 6 in the summer as I had been looking at the Allmountain but didn't like the colour so I wasn't in the market for a more expensive bike. This looks like a good bike at a good price but at least I had the use of it during the summer and Autumn,
Problem is for me the weight - backwards step. Mullet also not for me. Bosch motor still prefered
Mullets are straight up better. Agree about the bosch though, i love my allmtn cf9
That's a good price Rob. I'm a bit surprised there haven't been more substantial and widespread e-bike Black Friday discounts. Have you still got the Canyon Strive:ON?
Yes - still have my strive!
Cool, i ride the NDURO6 with an uprade RockShox ZEB Ultimate and i lovt this Bike!
i have one of the first comes out of this Bike and ....i love it !!! only canch the color in the 2025 version and the 2.6 in a 2.8 weel + sram AXS 🙂 nice video!
I’m watching this and my Specialized Levo is back in the shop for the FOURTH time ! And yeah I wish I could wind back time !
That's what I heard from my neighbor too. Apparently Specialized bought back the bike because the motors and batteries weren't working right. He had a long conversation with one of the specialized tech and the tech basically said that their own ebikes are garbage.
Friends don’t let friends ride, specialized
I have a levo on order right now. Oops
@@chrisanderson8578 sell it. sell it. sell it. join the haibike crew. you know you want to. 👀
I have levo is nice and quiet . 4 years warranty motor no problem
Ordered today, thanks for the code Rob 🤪👍
I’ve been riding one of these for a while and I think it’s awesome, be interesting to see your review.
Hoping the Specialized reboots the Kenevo, and I hope it's 200/200. I think the world is ready.
@@RobRidesEMTB Can’t wait for your test ride review 😉
@@ioannisparaskevopoulos1120 could you put a 29" on the rear to lift the bottom bracket, or would that throw the geo out of whack?
@@blakkpatron I wouldn’t go with a 29 on the rear as I am 5ft 9 and the wheel would hit my own rear
Rob have you ridden it? Is it any good? I'm really tempted but can't find a decent review anywhere.
Has an MRS rail. You can add multiple fixings to it for bottles etc.
it is NOT £4249, even link in description ask for over 6K and that is with 10% sale
Ok, after watching this, I clearly need one now!
For the love of god, when are manufactures going to start making the break levers longer? For maximum pull you need all for fingers.
Wanted to get a Haibike here in NZ but my lbs said they won't touch them due to lack of dealer support. Sick looking bike though 😮
I got my Husky mc2 for $2999.00 out the door no extra fees! Kaplan motorcycles rocks!
Haibikes fit quite small, an XL would've suited you fine
For sure used market has crashed, in line with new bikes significantly cheaper!
👌 Got the focus sam2 6.7 for 2900 eur myself
I have nothing against Haibike, I mostly like what they're doing. But I would never own one, just because I think the frames often look awful. Sure, it's a matter of taste, but I always think of a camels hump when looking at the toptube. The Lyke is a step in the right direction tho!
Great looking eMTB.
Great value! Not available in the USA unfortunately.
There’s this amazing thing called shipping 😂
@@joski9030 They won't ship to the US.
@@joski9030 They won't ship to the US.
Also seems the frame geometry isn't that much different, so for any non pro that doesn't base jump with their bike do they need the more expensive components?
ive just recieved exaclty same bike today :) same price as well. well happy
@@mindaugas9794 did you get an air fork? Description suggested a plush spring but it's definitely air which is a plus
What an awesome looking bike and epic spec
Nice looking bike. Take it out for a ride Rob 🤘🏻✌🏻
Mtb Bike prices have gone crazy especially when you can pick a 2023 Honda crf450 for £9000
And you’ve got yeti and the like wanting £11k for an ebike! It’s crazy money
Scott ransom eride has 465mm chainstay
Hi Rob im about to get one, considering L or M size with 1.72 but looking for long tours n trails rather than downhill courses. You think ill have more space n comfort in a sporty position with size L?
Great ebike! I guarantee down a steep DH track its as fast as anything out there.
I have a 2021 haibike fullseven 4 coming in for €1350. I think it's a good deal.
Can't find anywhere the Shock size and fork offset :(
So if this would hold you going down hill through rocks and roots, would it hold me on regular asphalt? I'm slightly taller than you but much, much heavier. Like 200 kg or thereabouts.
It’ll sure help to get you up the hills for a good time riding down-
5:10 - I wish Bosch listened to users and opened up their smart system to bike computers and watches. Shit's useful.
Me too. It’s really usefully n
does it have a throttle? need the throttle man of 4k plus...can still use as pedal assist but you're gonna want that throttle power:)
Is this code valid on the new model as that models no longer listed and im legit sold on these but dont wanna miss a saving that good if possible?
Just bough a Mondraker Level R 2023 for 3999€ - also 27kg xD
Waiting for better weather =)
Mondraker ..... good choice man👌
So is there a ride review for this?
i have one of the first from this and i love it to ride every day ....
I wanted to replace my 2022 160e for a 2024, but they build that bike with sram transmision not di2 for autoshift, so what’s the point.
I hope they go belly up.😡
tempting... shame about colour and general haibike design. plus as someone else eluded to in the comments, just because its got some nice components doesn't actually mean its good value, and i know i'd just end up swapping out so much of it, hence costing me ££££
I enjoy my e-bike with 190mm zeb on sam 2 mullet 26,5kg
this bike looks amazing so does the nireeka mega 😊
Not aggressive enough to lure me in😂😂😂😂
Anyone knows why Haibike dropped their Flyon's TQ motor line?
yes that's nuts, it's worth buying this bike just for the parts, gives an idea how much less they pay for them, right ?
How can I get one here in the USA ???
hi i have this bike it’s superb can i ask if i just bought the watch you have is that all i need to tell me the battery percentage and the mileage
cheers
Hi Andy, mine is Garmin Epix, but most of the Garmin range should connect to it fine.
@@RobRidesEMTB thank you very much appreciated 😀👍🏼
Can something like this be made single crown afterwards if the double crown turns out too much/ heavy?
Yes. It will take both
@@RobRidesEMTB I ended up buying the bike and am blown away.
T-Type crank, but an old gx eagle with a cable? that’s interesting
T type crank fits fine - it’s bolted onto the ebike motor spline so no issues at all 👍
Prices normalizing again?
It’s such a good looking bike
What size is the frame?
Mine is XL
Oh my Freaking Gawd! I think I found my first e-bike! To think I almost got a 2022 Giant Trance E+ 😅
