@4:28 Just fyi, it lowers the viscosity, not raises; it raises it's fluidity. The higher the viscus nature of a fluid the less it wants to flow, like syrup.
@@VirgosAlchemy I completely understand and agree, I've done it countless times myself. I assumed it was more likely a slip of the tongue than anything else, but just in case I thought I'd throw out the factoid for anyone who isn't familiar with the subject. Thank for sharing your projects and knowledge!
There is a spray for popping resin bubbles it's called burp gas. Google it. I don't use it but if I needed to I would. I have a vacuum chamber for silicone and resin.
I've never heard of burp gas before, that is interesting. I'll look that up, thanks! I wonder if it works as well as just alcohol? I honestly don't spray anything unless I have to because I don't always like wearing a respirator... pain in the butt! blah! 😖 Cool 🙂I've never had any luck using a vacuum chamber for silicone or epoxy resin, I use a pressure pot for both now, but only when casting eye bases. I swear, every time I've tried to use a vacuum I've gotten a huge mess 🥴 You can't really use a vaccum or pressure pot on UV resin, which is what this video tip is essentially for. Resin domes on eyes can't be put into a pressure pot or vaccum as they have to remain still and domed while curing 💗 Thanks for the comment! and the info on that stuff!
Good morning. I've seen it being used on other videos so I found it with a Google search. It is a spray can. I thought the name was funny. Smoothon where using it and brick in the yard. Both make rubber moulds and use resin. I found it in the UK.
@@WizardKitty723 Yes, it sure will 😊I don't personally like heating my resin until I'm going to use it, and this keeps it warm for me all day, but then again, not everyone needs access to warm resin all day lol 🤪 Thanks for sharing! *hugs*
I have one of those heat pads for keeping your feet warm, that has adjustable temps from about 90 -145 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s great for my UV resin: I turn it up pretty warm for the first few minutes and then down to about 115 and just sit the bottle on it while I’m working. I’m sure any heating pad would work, if the low setting is not too hot. But even if it is, you could just insulate it more.

Yes, that is correct! It's easy to make mixups when doing these videos lol. Forgive my "verbal typo" LOL Thanks for bringing it to my attention! 🩷🩷🩷

Good tip, I wonder if my regular heating pad would work? It probably would. I will have to try this. Thank you.
You are most welcome 🤗 My repti pad is a consistently around 100F, and I know I’ve had some heating pads that exceed this, so it probably would work 🫶
Putting the bottles in hot water works, too
