If you want to eat like the medieval knights and their ladies 1000 years ago, try the Excalibur Restaurant, in Bucharest, Str. Academiei Nr 39-41. But watch out for the portions because the medieval knights ate a lot. If necessary, you can book online. Then if you want an exotic tropical environment, go to Therme Bucharest. The water there is naturally thermal, coming from an underground area with lava. It is the largest SPA in Europe and has many interesting facilities. Buy tickets online.

While you visit Romania, if you plan to eat out make sure you search for daily menus, rather than going to random restaurants that will overprice food. It can be the difference from spend 5 euro to spending 40 euro for same food. (just look for restaurants that got listed "Meniul Zilei" on a board at the entrace which should be around 25 lei on average) - Just a tip so you won't end up being overcharged like Food X Bert was. Other than that, what I would suggest is to avoid most of the public transportation, especially trains and buses that go from one city to another. Hope you enjoy your time in our country. I am guessing that your local guide already explained those things, but just in case anyone else plans to visit in the future, take those things into account.
You MUST visit the trans-alpina road, its the highest ( in terms of altitude) road in the entire world. Also make sure to visit Cazanele Dunării, its a GORGEOUS place.
We tend to eat pizza with a garlic or tomato sauce next to it, dip in, that's why it doesn't have a lot of sauce on it already, like your friend said "more stuff on it" :))))
That ”Scovergă Ardelenească”, as you saw, is fried dough with cheese from Ardeal which is another name for the extended Transylvania region, so it has not much in common with Asia ;)

You guys should visit Sighisoara,it's a big city with an old fortress,it's been left mostly untouched with most of the original buildings, lots of restaurants with pretty good romanian food and you could perhaps even visit, eat or sleep in the house Vlad Tepes(the romanian ruler Dracula was made off of basically) was born!
Hello! I recommend you visit Oradea. It s probabily the city with the most beautiful buildings, even though it is quite small. If you want to come I would be more than happy to give you a free tour!
Mici are street food. Story is that the guy who invented them was a grill street vendor (grataragiu). On one particular day when the fair was in town he had so many orders that he ran out of intestines to use for the sausage wrap. He still had a lot of customers to serve so he shaped the sausage filling into little sausages and grilled them. People loved them so he started selling them and made a huge profit because everyone loved them. Gradually they would be made with less meat than a regular sausages so they would not break when flipping on the grill so people started calling them mici (smalls).

You MUST visit the trans-alpina road, its the highest ( in terms of altitude) road in the entire world. Also make sure to visit Cazanele Dunării, its a GORGEOUS place.
It is the highest in Romania, not in the entire world :)
@@ananeamtu9153 i know, i wanted to correct myself but i couldn't find the comment
We tend to eat pizza with a garlic or tomato sauce next to it, dip in, that's why it doesn't have a lot of sauce on it already, like your friend said "more stuff on it" :))))
Much respect 🇷🇴❤️
Well, I'm happy that you guys enjoyed it^^
And yes, Luca is like the best street food
That ”Scovergă Ardelenească”, as you saw, is fried dough with cheese from Ardeal which is another name for the extended Transylvania region, so it has not much in common with Asia ;)

Great men,got to see you guys enjoying your foods in Romania.
Super bune produsele de la Luca!!!
I am Romanian and i come from BackPackYourLife 👍to see your video travel and subscribe 😊
Now I am craving mici!
