I think that kind of soup is not common in all regions, the first time I encountered this was after I got married when my sister in law made it. Funny story, I had to pull my wife aside and ask her before trying it. - Why does your sister put "mamaliga" (polenta) inside the soup, I've never had a "mamaliga" soup before, we usually use vegetables and or meat, is this an actual recipe or some kind of experiment? In the end it was edible, but I prefer the "ciorba" varieties which are sour, not sweet, much much better :))

Although I am Romanian, I am not a big fan of Romanian cuisine. But when it comes to soups and borschts, Romanian cuisine is very good.
Hi guys, you should also try soup with dumplings. (Supa cu galuste)That soup is sweet not sour in Romania.
Good job! 👍❤️👍
Wow! Awesome video! 😊👍
I'm totally biased 😂 being from Romania...
My 2 favorite ciorbă: the tripe one and the meatball one
Very interesting,a restaurant that serves only and so many kinds of soups.A Romanian thing I suppose?
Im not a soup person tho Im partial to clam chowder and minestrone.
Do you guys remember sup gear box? That's uniquely Malaysian.
If you like tripe soup, there's really nothing more to say. You're an honorary Romanian :))
You should try in the spring spinach soup and garden sorrel soup or nettle paste or cream i don't know how shoud i call it wich is full of iron...after a winter of pork they are so light for the stomach
I got emotive seeing your video, they just remind me of my home and how emotional it is every time to eat a well don ciorba! I got to tell you that, from my experience, the ciorba with beef is probably the best one (maybe with less tomato) when eaten hot enough and maybe putting a bit on salt on the fat jelly side of beef… Next time try it!
We are coming back to Romania soon!! Will look for more ciorba :D ! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed.
In general, "ciorba" is healthy because it has a medium consistency, but you never eat two kinds of "ciorba" at the same time.
Thank you guys for this video. I live in Romania and I like the ciorba.
Great video guys. Congrats!
Oooh nooo! Ciorbă cu perișoare... Mmmh! My favourite 🤣❤️
HAHAHAHA!! When you mentioned "sup perut" in Malaysia, I suddenly remembered when you tried the Sup Torpedo!!!.. (ayayayay..) 😁 Reminds me also of when I was in the Netherlands and I remarked to my host "So bonen soup doesn't have bones in it" and he started laughing really hard.. ("bonen soup" is bean soup...)
Ciorbă de burtă (Beef Tripe Soup) is the Nr. 1 in România 👍👍👍 Maybe the Most Popular Soup.
You are a gorgeous couple! We look forward to seeing you in Romania!
Interestingly, in Pakistan we call it "Shorba". Soup in the watery dish is called Shorba.
There’s lots of çorba here in Turkey too. We’ve been going to a shop specializing in it often. Really good!
yes I think the word was brought over in Romania and slightly different but similar :)
Hello...how are you guys doing in Turkey?
Ciorba de Burta and Ciorba Radauteana are practically the same but the meat is different, one uses chicken meat, the other one beef stomach.
Correct, I might say ciorba radauteana was invented for people who don't like tripe soup (like myself).
@@RaduRadonys I am from Radauti and I personally know the lady restaurant owner who invented Ciorba Radauteana. You would be amazed to know that indeed, she made this soup for the first time at home because her husband couldn't stand the tripe (cow stomach) and so she made the same soup, but with chicken breast. After that she introduced it at the restaurant and now it's patented. I can't eat tripe so I love this version and it works wonders for a hangover.
i would eat ciorba in the morning, noon and evening, its my all time favorite, delicious, nutricious and healthy, full of vegetables and flavours, and the meat is boiled and not too much, ciorba is the perfect balanced food.
