    Thank you so much, you give the best demonstrations, you explain everything simply & perfectly. My OCD is loving the Gen15 Model, Dust Laser, and as for the colour code that’s just music to my ears!🎉🎉🎉 Loosing the trigger is a game changer too and on Auto mode changes automatically for different floor types❤My only worry is I won’t put it down until my whole apartment reads GREEN!

    Very interesting, thank you. I was actually trying to find out what the Docking Station looks like on a wall (I have limited space). I bought the V8 in 2016, in 2019 I bought a non-Dyson battery replacement, at some point the lock on the bin broke so I have to watch it doesn't open while I vacuum, and my finger starts to burn with the trigger device when I have used the vacuum a while. Otherwise, it does it's job but I feel it time we went our separate ways and I am seriously considering the Gen5; my trigger finger has had enough! 😀 By the way, just bought the Dyson Airwrap (for hair) and it's brilliant!

    So basically if youre a regular person the v15 is a better option for being cheaper. If you really like the better laser, you can buy the gen5 hardwood head separately and just use that one. $30-50 head vs $350 barely better vacuum

    The ONLY 2 things to consider - The v15 is lighter but has a trigger pull instead of an on/off switch.
    Both have the same laser now.

    No, the battery isn't any bigger. In fact it has marginally smaller capacity. It has different shape (longer but narrower), but that's more for the redistribution of weight.

    • @reaperreaper5098
      @reaperreaper5098 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s longer because it’s a 10 cell pack, whereas the older model uses a 7 cell pack. The new vacuum runs at a higher voltage (36V vs 25.2V), which has some efficiency gains.

    From UX point of view, without using the trigger is much better. Because when you use the trigger you actually grip it tighter and that’s tiring after awhile, especially the vacuum is heavy. I know it trigger is more natural but if you don’t need to press it down when you move around it’s actually quite easy to hold the stick. Think about driving on the steering wheel on a few fingers (yes not safe) vs gripping it while driving. You get the idea.

    • @3litepker

      you jsut need to stop using the death grip and it's easy. I love the trigger more after getting accustomed to it. It was in the beginning where I wanted a button to keep it on but really, the trigger is so much more convenient. I do have to release it a lot of time and having to switch the button on and off all the time would be such an annoying thing. Also essentially as I said do not death grip the trigger. Just hold it as normal, no need to grip it any harder than you need for just holding the vacuum

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  ปีที่แล้ว

    I just bought a V15 Detect Absolute directly from Dyson and I was confused at first because it actually has the same kind of connection at the vacuum base that you show here with the Gen5 where you connect that crevice tool, then the wand. and you need to keep that on there to attach other tools. I'm not sure why this is or maybe the latest Detect Absolutes are shipping with that feature. It was confusing to me at first a this is my first Dyson vaccum.

      @@jamesa8225Because Dyson is GREEDY! They keep changing names for the same feature and they can't seem to tell you what's in the box outright! It's also annoying that Dyson will add one feature (submarine) but make it completely incompatible with a newer vac (Gen5). All of this is intentional to confuse the consumer and to just get them to settle! Great demonstration though.
