The UKVI rule state to print a bank statement for 28 days and the statement should be printed with the last 31 days prior to your application

As long as it's your immediate family member, it's fine I suppose, as long as you can prove it
Let your relatives deposit d money in your account. Don't use their account

There was a mistake on the name on my BVN but I already started my Proof of fund before I was able to change it,I eventually changed it to the correct one but unable change it on my account name for now cos the account I’m using for my pof is new,my question is I hope I won’t be denied and is it my BVN they will check for correct details or is there anything I can submit alongside my application to proof the account belongs to me like affidavit that I bear the name
Kindly go to the bank and tell them to update your account name to the name on your BVN, the UKVI usually check through your bank information

Ma I couldn’t put the money in my dad’s account because he’s surname is different from mine because of that I’m using my account as POF and I only graduated in 2021…will this be a problem for me, how do I go about it. I haven’t applied for my visa yet though
You can use your account and ask your dad to give you a supporting letter

I gradauated in 2013 and was sent the NSF to provide proof of my activities since my graduation in 2013. Thankfully I had employement letters going back to 2019 and certifications I had taken years ago that related to the course I am going to study. They needed this to cerify that I am a genuine student. Good thing I paid for priority. I'm simply waiting on them now.

According to my school, if your family is sponsoring you, you are self-sponsored, as it's not an external person. The most important thing is that you stated that the money is in someone else’s account, and indicate who….

U will have to reapply for a new CAS first after emailing your schools engagement and compliance team the reason for the denial, if you are eligible they will issue a fresh CAS for you which you will use for your new Visa application as CAS cannot be used twice
